馬太福音 6:25

"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?
Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life ?
"And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin.
Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.
If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you-you of little faith?
So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?'
For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
「所以我告訴你們，不要為生命憂慮吃什麼，喝什麼；為身體憂慮穿什麼。生命不勝於飲食嗎？身體不勝於衣裳嗎？
你們看那天上的飛鳥，也不種，也不收，也不積蓄在倉裡，你們的天父尚且養活他。你們不比飛鳥貴重得多嗎？
你們那一個能用思慮使壽數多加一刻呢（或作：使身量多加一肘呢）？
何必為衣裳憂慮呢？你想野地裡的百合花怎麼長起來；他也不勞苦，也不紡線。
然而我告訴你們，就是所羅門極榮華的時候，他所穿戴的，還不如這花一朵呢！
你們這小信的人哪！野地裡的草今天還在，明天就丟在爐裡，神還給他這樣的妝飾，何況你們呢！
所以，不要憂慮說：吃什麼？喝什麼？穿什麼？
這都是外邦人所求的，你們需用的這一切東西，你們的天父是知道的。
你們要先求他的國和他的義，這些東西都要加給你們了。
所以，不要為明天憂慮，因為明天自有明天的憂慮；一天的難處一天當就夠了。」
提摩太前書 2:9
I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, adorning themselves, not with elaborate hairstyles or gold or pearls or expensive clothes,
又願女人廉恥、自守，以正派衣裳為妝飾，不以編髮、黃金、珍珠，和貴價的衣裳為妝飾；
提摩太前書 2:9

又願女人廉恥、自守，以正派衣裳為妝飾，不以編髮、黃金、珍珠，和貴價的衣裳為妝飾；
只要有善行，這才與自稱是敬神的女人相宜。
出埃及記 28:4
These are the garments they are to make: a breastpiece, an ephod, a robe, a woven tunic, a turban and a sash. They are to make these sacred garments for your brother Aaron and his sons, so they may serve me as priests.
所要做的就是胸牌、以弗得、外袍、雜色的內袍、冠冕、腰帶，使你哥哥亞倫和他兒子穿這聖服，可以給我供祭司的職分。
出埃及記 28:42
"Make linen undergarments as a covering for the body, reaching from the waist to the thigh.
要給他們做細麻布褲子，遮掩下體；褲子當從腰達到大腿。
申命記 22:5
A woman must not wear men's clothing, nor a man wear women's clothing, for the Lord your God detests anyone who does this.
「婦女不可穿戴男子所穿戴的，男子也不可穿婦女的衣服，因為這樣行都是耶和華你神所憎惡的。
哥林多前書 6:19

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;
you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.
豈不知你們的身子就是聖靈的殿嗎？這聖靈是從神而來，住在你們裡頭的；並且你們不是自己的人；
因為你們是重價買來的。所以，要在你們的身子上榮耀神。
提摩太前書 2:10

只要有善行，這才與自稱是敬神的女人相宜。
以西結書 27:24
In your marketplace they traded with you beautiful garments, blue fabric, embroidered work and multicolored rugs with cords twisted and tightly knotted.
這些商人以美好的貨物包在繡花藍色包袱內，又有華麗的衣服裝在香柏木的箱子裡，用繩捆著與你交易。
