馬太福音 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.
使人和睦的人有福了!因為他們必稱為神的兒子。
羅馬書 13:4 For the one in authority is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God's servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer.
因為他是神的用人,是與你有益的。你若作惡,卻當懼怕;因為他不是空空的佩劍,他是神的用人,是伸冤的,刑罰那作惡的。
約翰福音 15:13 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends.
人為朋友捨命,人的愛心沒有比這個大的。
約書亞記 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."

詩篇 82:3 - 4 Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed. Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.
你們當為貧寒的人和孤兒伸冤;當為困苦和窮乏的人施行公義。 當保護貧寒和窮乏的人,救他們脫離惡人的手。
以賽亞書 6:8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?" And I said, "Here am I. Send me!"
我又聽見主的聲音說:「我可以差遣誰呢?誰肯為我們去呢?」我說:「我在這裡,請差遣我!」

你要提醒眾人,叫他們順服作官的、掌權的,遵他的命,預備行各樣的善事。
出埃及記 22:2 - 3 "If a thief is caught breaking in at night and is struck a fatal blow, the defender is not guilty of bloodshed; but if it happens after sunrise, the defender is guilty of bloodshed. You have delivered me from the attacks of the people; you have made me the head of nations. People I did not know now serve me,
我要追趕我的仇敵,並要追上他們;不將他們滅絕,我總不歸回。 我要打傷他們,使他們不能起來;他們必倒在我的腳下。 因為你曾以力量束我的腰,使我能爭戰;你也使那起來攻擊我的都服在我以下。 你又使我的仇敵在我面前轉背逃跑,叫我能以剪除那恨我的人。 他們呼求,卻無人拯救;就是呼求耶和華,他也不應允。 我搗碎他們,如同風前的灰塵,倒出他們,如同街上的泥土。 你救我脫離百姓的爭競,立我作列國的元首;我素不認識的民必事奉我。
路加福音 1:79 to shine on those living in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the path of peace."
要照亮坐在黑暗中死蔭裡的人,把我們的腳引到平安的路上。
路加福音 10:30 - 37 In reply Jesus said: "A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he was attacked by robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead. A priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side. So too, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him. He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, brought him to an inn and took care of him. The next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper. 'Look after him,' he said, 'and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.' "Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?" The expert in the law replied, "The one who had mercy on him." Jesus told him, "Go and do likewise."
耶穌回答說:「有一個人從耶路撒冷下耶利哥去,落在強盜手中。他們剝去他的衣裳,把他打個半死,就丟下他走了。 偶然有一個祭司從這條路下來,看見他就從那邊過去了。 又有一個利未人來到這地方,看見他,也照樣從那邊過去了。 惟有一個撒瑪利亞人行路來到那裡,看見他就動了慈心, 上前用油和酒倒在他的傷處,包裹好了,扶他騎上自己的牲口,帶到店裡去照應他。 第二天拿出二錢銀子來,交給店主,說:『你且照應他;此外所費用的,我回來必還你。』 你想,這三個人那一個是落在強盜手中的鄰舍呢?」 他說:「是憐憫他的。」耶穌說:「你去照樣行吧。」
路加福音 10:27 He answered, " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind' ; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'10:27Lev. 19:18 "
他回答說:「你要盡心、盡性、盡力、盡意愛主你的神;又要愛鄰舍如同自己。」
羅馬書 12:19 Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord.
親愛的弟兄,不要自己伸冤,寧可讓步,聽憑主怒(或作:讓人發怒);因為經上記著:「主說:『伸冤在我;我必報應。』」
出埃及記 21:24 - 25 eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, burn for burn, wound for wound, bruise for bruise.
以眼還眼,以牙還牙,以手還手,以腳還腳, 以烙還烙,以傷還傷,以打還打。
申命記 28:47 - 48 Because you did not serve the Lord your God joyfully and gladly in the time of prosperity, therefore in hunger and thirst, in nakedness and dire poverty, you will serve the enemies the Lord sends against you. He will put an iron yoke on your neck until he has destroyed you.
「因為你富有的時候,不歡心樂意地事奉耶和華你的神, 所以你必在飢餓、乾渴、赤露、缺乏之中事奉耶和華所打發來攻擊你的仇敵。他必把鐵軛加在你的頸項上,直到將你滅絕。
詩篇 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.
(可拉後裔的詩歌,交與伶長。調用女音。)神是我們的避難所,是我們的力量,是我們在患難中隨時的幫助。
詩篇 144:1 Praise be to the Lord my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle.
(大衛的詩。)耶和華我的磐石是應當稱頌的!他教導我的手爭戰,教導我的指頭打仗。
箴言 25:26 Like a muddied spring or a polluted well are the righteous who give way to the wicked.
義人在惡人面前退縮,好像逿渾之泉,弄濁之井。
箴言 28:1 The wicked flee though no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion.
惡人雖無人追趕也逃跑;義人卻膽壯像獅子。
以賽亞書 54:17 no weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from me," declares the Lord.
凡為攻擊你造成的器械必不利用;凡在審判時興起用舌攻擊你的,你必定他為有罪。這是耶和華僕人的產業,是他們從我所得的義。這是耶和華說的。
馬太福音 5:6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.
飢渴慕義的人有福了!因為他們必得飽足。
馬太福音 5:19 Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
所以,無論何人廢掉這誡命中最小的一條,又教訓人這樣做,他在天國要稱為最小的。但無論何人遵行這誡命,又教訓人遵行,他在天國要稱為大的。
