以弗所書 4:18

那召你們的既是聖潔，你們在一切所行的事上也要聖潔。
因為經上記著說：「你們要聖潔，因為我是聖潔的。」

我們講的，乃是從前所隱藏、神奧秘的智慧，就是神在萬世以前預定使我們得榮耀的。
這智慧世上有權有位的人沒有一個知道的、他們若知道，就不把榮耀的主釘在十字架上了。
如經上所記：神為愛他的人所預備的是眼睛未曾看見，耳朵未曾聽見，人心也未曾想到的。
只有神藉著聖靈向我們顯明了，因為聖靈參透萬事，就是神深奧的事也參透了。
約伯記 8:9
for we were born only yesterday and know nothing, and our days on earth are but a shadow.
我們不過從昨日才有，一無所知；我們在世的日子好像影兒。
箴言 27:1
Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring.
不要為明日自誇，因為一日要生何事，你尚且不能知道。
羅馬書 12:1

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God-this is your true and proper worship.
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-his good, pleasing and perfect will.
所以弟兄們，我以神的慈悲勸你們，將身體獻上，當作活祭，是聖潔的，是神所喜悅的；你們如此事奉乃是理所當然的。
不要效法這個世界，只要心意更新而變化，叫你們察驗何為神的善良、純全、可喜悅的旨意。
