箴言 10:12 Hatred stirs up conflict, but love covers over all wrongs.
恨能挑啟爭端;愛能遮掩一切過錯。
提摩太後書 2:23 - 25 Don't have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels. And the Lord's servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. 箴言 16:28 A perverse person stirs up conflict, and a gossip separates close friends.
乖僻人播散分爭;傳舌的,離間密友。

箴言 26:20 Without wood a fire goes out; without a gossip a quarrel dies down.
火缺了柴就必熄滅;無人傳舌,爭競便止息。

若一國自相分爭,那國就站立不住;
加拉太書 5:19 - 21 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
情慾的事都是顯而易見的,就如姦淫、污穢、邪蕩、 拜偶像、邪術、仇恨、爭競、忌恨、惱怒、結黨、分爭、異端、 嫉妒(有古卷加:兇殺二字)、醉酒、荒宴等類。我從前告訴你們,現在又告訴你們,行這樣事的人必不能承受神的國。
箴言 20:3 It is to one's honor to avoid strife, but every fool is quick to quarrel.
遠離分爭是人的尊榮;愚妄人都愛爭鬧。
雅各書 3:14 - 16 But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth. Such "wisdom" does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice.
你們心裡若懷著苦毒的嫉妒和分爭,就不可自誇,也不可說謊話抵擋真道。 這樣的智慧不是從上頭來的,乃是屬地的,屬情慾的,屬鬼魔的。 在何處有嫉妒、分爭,就在何處有擾亂和各樣的壞事。
雅各書 4:1 What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don't they come from your desires that battle within you?
你們中間的爭戰鬥毆是從那裡來的呢?不是從你們百體中戰鬥之私慾來的嗎?
路加福音 12:58 As you are going with your adversary to the magistrate, try hard to be reconciled on the way, or your adversary may drag you off to the judge, and the judge turn you over to the officer, and the officer throw you into prison.
你同告你的對頭去見官,還在路上,務要盡力的和他了結;恐怕他拉你到官面前,官交付差役,差役把你下在監裡。
箴言 17:14 Starting a quarrel is like breaching a dam; so drop the matter before a dispute breaks out.
分爭的起頭如水放開,所以,在爭鬧之先必當止息爭競。

耶和華所恨惡的有六樣,連他心所憎惡的共有七樣: 就是高傲的眼,撒謊的舌,流無辜人血的手, 圖謀惡計的心,飛跑行惡的腳, 吐謊言的假見證,並弟兄中布散分爭的人。
箴言 25:24 Better to live on a corner of the roof than share a house with a quarrelsome wife.
寧可住在房頂的角上,不在寬闊的房屋與爭吵的婦人同住。
以賽亞書 41:12 Though you search for your enemies, you will not find them. Those who wage war against you will be as nothing at all.
與你爭競的,你要找他們也找不著;與你爭戰的必如無有,成為虛無。
羅馬書 14:19 Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification.
所以,我們務要追求和睦的事與彼此建立德行的事。

提摩太前書 3:3 not given to drunkenness, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money.
不因酒滋事,不打人,只要溫和,不爭競,不貪財;
約翰一書 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

你為何使我看見罪孽?你為何看著奸惡而不理呢?毀滅和強暴在我面前,又起了爭端和相鬥的事。
羅馬書 14:21 It is better not to eat meat or drink wine or to do anything else that will cause your brother or sister to fall.
無論是吃肉,是喝酒,是什麼別的事,叫弟兄跌倒,一概不做才好。

箴言 15:17 Better a small serving of vegetables with love than a fattened calf with hatred.
吃素菜,彼此相愛,強如吃肥牛,彼此相恨。
箴言 18:19 A brother wronged is more unyielding than a fortified city; disputes are like the barred gates of a citadel.
弟兄結怨,勸他和好,比取堅固城還難;這樣的爭競如同堅寨的門閂。
