彼得後書 3:9
The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
主所應許的尚未成就，有人以為他是耽延，其實不是耽延，乃是寬容你們，不願有一人沉淪，乃願人人都悔改。

Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, was one of the two who heard what John had said and who had followed Jesus.
The first thing Andrew did was to find his brother Simon and tell him, "We have found the Messiah" (that is, the Christ).
And he brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said, "You are Simon son of John. You will be called Cephas" (which, when translated, is Peter ).
聽見約翰的話跟從耶穌的那兩個人，一個是西門彼得的兄弟安得烈。
他先找著自己的哥哥西門，對他說：「我們遇見彌賽亞了。」（彌賽亞繙出來就是基督。）
於是領他去見耶穌。耶穌看著他，說：「你是約翰的兒子西門﹝約翰在馬太十六章十七節稱約拿﹞，你要稱為磯法。」（磯法繙出來就是彼得。）
創世記 4:9

二人對羅得說：「你這裡還有什麼人嗎？無論是女婿是兒女，和這城中一切屬你的人，你都要將他們從這地方帶出去。
