創世記 12:1
The Lord had said to Abram, "Go from your country, your people and your father's household to the land I will show you.
耶和華對亞伯蘭說：「你要離開本地、本族、父家，往我所要指示你的地去。
路得記 1:16

But Ruth replied, "Don't urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God.
Where you die I will die, and there I will be buried. May the Lord deal with me, be it ever so severely, if even death separates you and me."
When Naomi realized that Ruth was determined to go with her, she stopped urging her.
路得說：「不要催我回去不跟隨你。你往那裡去，我也往那裡去；你在那裡住宿，我也在那裡住宿；你的國就是我的國，你的神就是我的神。
你在那裡死，我也在那裡死，也葬在那裡。除非死能使你我相離！不然，願耶和華重重的降罰與我。」
拿俄米見路得定意要跟隨自己去，就不再勸他了。
民數記 14:24
But because my servant Caleb has a different spirit and follows me wholeheartedly, I will bring him into the land he went to, and his descendants will inherit it.

So Abram went, as the Lord had told him; and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he set out from Harran.
亞伯蘭就照著耶和華的吩咐去了；羅得也和他同去。亞伯蘭出哈蘭的時候年七十五歲。
列王記下 2:1
When the Lord was about to take Elijah up to heaven in a whirlwind, Elijah and Elisha were on their way from Gilgal.
耶和華要用旋風接以利亞升天的時候，以利亞與以利沙從吉甲前往。
列王記下 2:6
Then Elijah said to him, "Stay here; the Lord has sent me to the Jordan." And he replied, "As surely as the Lord lives and as you live, I will not leave you." So the two of them walked on.
以利亞對以利沙說：「耶和華差遣我往約但河去，你可以在這裡等候。」以利沙說：「我指著永生的耶和華，又敢在你面前起誓，我必不離開你。」於是二人一同前往。
