A man was there by the name of Zacchaeus; he was a chief tax collector and was wealthy.
He wanted to see who Jesus was, but because he was short he could not see over the crowd.
So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore-fig tree to see him, since Jesus was coming that way.
有一個人名叫撒該，作稅吏長，是個財主。
他要看看耶穌是怎樣的人；只因人多，他的身量又矮，所以不得看見，
就跑到前頭，爬上桑樹，要看耶穌，因為耶穌必從那裡經過。
馬太福音 17:5

While he was still speaking, a bright cloud covered them, and a voice from the cloud said, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!"
When the disciples heard this, they fell facedown to the ground, terrified.
But Jesus came and touched them. "Get up," he said. "Don't be afraid."
When they looked up, they saw no one except Jesus.
說話之間，忽然有一朵光明的雲彩遮蓋他們，且有聲音從雲彩裡出來，說：「這是我的愛子，我所喜悅的。你們要聽他！」
門徒聽見，就俯伏在地，極其害怕。

Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, was one of the two who heard what John had said and who had followed Jesus.
The first thing Andrew did was to find his brother Simon and tell him, "We have found the Messiah" (that is, the Christ).
And he brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said, "You are Simon son of John. You will be called Cephas" (which, when translated, is Peter ).
聽見約翰的話跟從耶穌的那兩個人，一個是西門彼得的兄弟安得烈。
他先找著自己的哥哥西門，對他說：「我們遇見彌賽亞了。」（彌賽亞繙出來就是基督。）
於是領他去見耶穌。耶穌看著他，說：「你是約翰的兒子西門﹝約翰在馬太十六章十七節稱約拿﹞，你要稱為磯法。」（磯法繙出來就是彼得。）
約翰福音 1:45
Philip found Nathanael and told him, "We have found the one Moses wrote about in the Law, and about whom the prophets also wrote-Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph."
腓力找著拿但業，對他說：「摩西在律法上所寫的和眾先知所記的那一位，我們遇見了，就是約瑟的兒子拿撒勒人耶穌。」

Now there were some Greeks among those who went up to worship at the festival.
They came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida in Galilee, with a request. "Sir," they said, "we would like to see Jesus."
那時，上來過節禮拜的人中，有幾個希利尼人。
