箴言 24:16
for though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again, but the wicked stumble when calamity strikes. Saying 28

箴言 4:18

The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.
But the way of the wicked is like deep darkness; they do not know what makes them stumble.
但義人的路好像黎明的光，越照越明，直到日午。
惡人的道好像幽暗，自己不知因什麼跌倒。
詩篇 58:11
Then people will say, "Surely the righteous still are rewarded; surely there is a God who judges the earth."
因此，人必說：義人誠然有善報；在地上果有施行判斷的神！
箴言 13:9
The light of the righteous shines brightly, but the lamp of the wicked is snuffed out.
義人的光明亮（原文作歡喜）；惡人的燈要熄滅。
