The spirits of prophets are subject to the control of prophets.
先知的靈原是順服先知的；
詩篇 105:15
"Do not touch my anointed ones; do my prophets no harm."
說：不可難為我受膏的人，也不可惡待我的先知。

As for the other events of Hezekiah's reign, all his achievements and how he made the pool and the tunnel by which he brought water into the city, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Judah?
希西家其餘的事和他的勇力，他怎樣挖池、挖溝、引水入城，都寫在猶大列王記上。

This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Woe to the foolish prophets who follow their own spirit and have seen nothing!
主耶和華如此說：「愚頑的先知有禍了，他們隨從自己的心意，卻一無所見。

So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers,
to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up
until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming.
Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.
From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
他所賜的，有使徒，有先知，有傳福音的，有牧師和教師，
為要成全聖徒，各盡其職，建立基督的身體，
直等到我們眾人在真道上同歸於一，認識神的兒子，得以長大成人，滿有基督長成的身量，
使我們不再作小孩子，中了人的詭計和欺騙的法術，被一切異教之風搖動，飄來飄去，就隨從各樣的異端；
惟用愛心說誠實話，凡事長進，連於元首基督，
全身都靠他聯絡得合式，百節各按各職，照著各體的功用彼此相助，便叫身體漸漸增長，在愛中建立自己。
雅各書 5:10
Brothers and sisters, as an example of patience in the face of suffering, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord.
弟兄們，你們要把那先前奉主名說話的眾先知當作能受苦能忍耐的榜樣。
申命記 18:19
- 22
I myself will call to account anyone who does not listen to my words that the prophet speaks in my name.
But a prophet who presumes to speak in my name anything I have not commanded, or a prophet who speaks in the name of other gods, is to be put to death."
You may say to yourselves, "How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the Lord?"
If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously, so do not be alarmed.
誰不聽他奉我名所說的話，我必討誰的罪。
若有先知擅敢託我的名說我所未曾吩咐他說的話，或是奉別神的名說話，那先知就必治死。』
你心裡若說：『耶和華所未曾吩咐的話，我們怎能知道呢？』
先知託耶和華的名說話，所說的若不成就，也無效驗，這就是耶和華所未曾吩咐的，是那先知擅自說的，你不要怕他。」
撒母耳記上 26:9

But David said to Abishai, "Don't destroy him! Who can lay a hand on the Lord's anointed and be guiltless?
As surely as the Lord lives," he said, "the Lord himself will strike him, or his time will come and he will die, or he will go into battle and perish.
But the Lord forbid that I should lay a hand on the Lord's anointed. Now get the spear and water jug that are near his head, and let's go."
大衛對亞比篩說：「不可害死他。有誰伸手害耶和華的受膏者而無罪呢？」
大衛又說：「我指著永生的耶和華起誓，他或被耶和華擊打，或是死期到了，或是出戰陣亡；
我在耶和華面前，萬不敢伸手害耶和華的受膏者。現在你可以將他頭旁的槍和水瓶拿來，我們就走。」
列王記上 16:22
But Omri's followers proved stronger than those of Tibni son of Ginath. So Tibni died and Omri became king.
但隨從暗利的民勝過隨從基納的兒子提比尼的民。提比尼死了，暗利就作了王。
耶利米書 23:12

"Therefore their path will become slippery; they will be banished to darkness and there they will fall. I will bring disaster on them in the year they are punished," declares the Lord.
"Among the prophets of Samaria I saw this repulsive thing: They prophesied by Baal and led my people Israel astray.
And among the prophets of Jerusalem I have seen something horrible: They commit adultery and live a lie. They strengthen the hands of evildoers, so that not one of them turns from their wickedness. They are all like Sodom to me; the people of Jerusalem are like Gomorrah."
Therefore this is what the Lord Almighty says concerning the prophets: "I will make them eat bitter food and drink poisoned water, because from the prophets of Jerusalem ungodliness has spread throughout the land."
This is what the Lord Almighty says: "Do not listen to what the prophets are prophesying to you; they fill you with false hopes. They speak visions from their own minds, not from the mouth of the Lord.
They keep saying to those who despise me, 'The Lord says: You will have peace.' And to all who follow the stubbornness of their hearts they say, 'No harm will come to you.'
But which of them has stood in the council of the Lord to see or to hear his word? Who has listened and heard his word?
See, the storm of the Lord will burst out in wrath, a whirlwind swirling down on the heads of the wicked.
The anger of the Lord will not turn back until he fully accomplishes the purposes of his heart. In days to come you will understand it clearly.
I did not send these prophets, yet they have run with their message; I did not speak to them, yet they have prophesied.
But if they had stood in my council, they would have proclaimed my words to my people and would have turned them from their evil ways and from their evil deeds.
"Am I only a God nearby," declares the Lord, "and not a God far away?
Who can hide in secret places so that I cannot see them?" declares the Lord. "Do not I fill heaven and earth?" declares the Lord.
"I have heard what the prophets say who prophesy lies in my name. They say, 'I had a dream! I had a dream!'
How long will this continue in the hearts of these lying prophets, who prophesy the delusions of their own minds?
They think the dreams they tell one another will make my people forget my name, just as their ancestors forgot my name through Baal worship.
Let the prophet who has a dream recount the dream, but let the one who has my word speak it faithfully. For what has straw to do with grain?" declares the Lord.
"Is not my word like fire," declares the Lord, "and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?
"Therefore," declares the Lord, "I am against the prophets who steal from one another words supposedly from me.
Yes," declares the Lord, "I am against the prophets who wag their own tongues and yet declare, 'The Lord declares.'
Indeed, I am against those who prophesy false dreams," declares the Lord. "They tell them and lead my people astray with their reckless lies, yet I did not send or appoint them. They do not benefit these people in the least," declares the Lord.
"When these people, or a prophet or a priest, ask you, 'What is the message from the Lord?' say to them, 'What message? I will forsake you, declares the Lord.'
If a prophet or a priest or anyone else claims, 'This is a message from the Lord,' I will punish them and their household.
This is what each of you keeps saying to your friends and other Israelites: 'What is the Lord's answer?' or 'What has the Lord spoken?'
But you must not mention 'a message from the Lord' again, because each one's word becomes their own message. So you distort the words of the living God, the Lord Almighty, our God.
This is what you keep saying to a prophet: 'What is the Lord's answer to you?' or 'What has the Lord spoken?'
Although you claim, 'This is a message from the Lord,' this is what the Lord says: You used the words, 'This is a message from the Lord,' even though I told you that you must not claim, 'This is a message from the Lord.'
Therefore, I will surely forget you and cast you out of my presence along with the city I gave to you and your ancestors.
I will bring on you everlasting disgrace-everlasting shame that will not be forgotten."
因此，他們的道路必像黑暗中的滑地，他們必被追趕，在這路中仆倒；因為當追討之年，我必使災禍臨到他們。這是耶和華說的。
我在撒瑪利亞的先知中曾見愚妄；他們藉巴力說預言，使我的百姓以色列走錯了路。
我在耶路撒冷的先知中曾見可憎惡的事；他們行姦淫，做事虛妄，又堅固惡人的手，甚至無人回頭離開他的惡。他們在我面前都像所多瑪；耶路撒冷的居民都像蛾摩拉。
所以萬軍之耶和華論到先知如此說：我必將茵蔯給他們吃，又將苦膽水給他們喝；因為褻瀆的事出於耶路撒冷的先知，流行遍地。
萬軍之耶和華如此說：「這些先知向你們說預言，你們不要聽他們的話。他們以虛空教訓你們，所說的異象是出於自己的心，不是出於耶和華的口。
他們常對藐視我的人說：『耶和華說：你們必享平安』；又對一切按自己頑梗之心而行的人說：『必沒有災禍臨到你們。』
有誰站在耶和華的會中得以聽見並會悟他的話呢？有誰留心聽他的話呢？
看哪！耶和華的忿怒好像暴風，已經發出；是暴烈的旋風，必轉到惡人的頭上。
耶和華的怒氣必不轉消，直到他心中所擬定的成就了。末後的日子你們要全然明白。
我沒有打發那些先知，他們竟自奔跑；我沒有對他們說話，他們竟自預言。
他們若是站在我的會中，就必使我的百姓聽我的話，又使他們回頭離開惡道和他們所行的惡。
耶和華說：「我豈為近處的神呢？不也為遠處的神嗎？」
耶和華說：「人豈能在隱密處藏身，使我看不見他呢？」耶和華說：「我豈不充滿天地嗎？
我已聽見那些先知所說的，就是託我名說的假預言，他們說我作了夢，我作了夢。
說假預言的先知，就是預言本心詭詐的先知，他們這樣存心要到幾時呢？
他們各人將所做的夢對鄰舍述說，想要使我的百姓忘記我的名，正如他們列祖因巴力忘記我的名一樣。
得夢的先知可以述說那夢；得我話的人可以誠實講說我的話。糠秕怎能與麥子比較呢？這是耶和華說的。」
耶和華說：「我的話豈不像火，又像能打碎磐石的大錘嗎？」
耶和華說：「那些先知各從鄰舍偷竊我的言語，因此我必與他們反對。」
耶和華說：「那些先知用舌頭，說是耶和華說的；我必與他們反對。」
耶和華說：「那些以幻夢為預言，又述說這夢，以謊言和矜誇使我百姓走錯了路的，我必與他們反對。我沒有打發他們，也沒有吩咐他們。他們與這百姓毫無益處。這是耶和華說的。」
「無論是百姓，是先知，是祭司，問你說：『耶和華有什麼默示呢？』你就對他們說：『什麼默示啊？耶和華說：我要撇棄你們。』
無論是先知，是祭司，是百姓，說『耶和華的默示』，我必刑罰那人和他的家。
你們各人要對鄰舍，各人要對弟兄如此說：『耶和華回答什麼？』『耶和華說了什麼呢？』
『耶和華的默示』你們不可再提，各人所說的話必作自己的重擔（重擔和默示原文同），因為你們謬用永生神、萬軍之耶和華我們神的言語。
你們要對先知如此說：『耶和華回答你什麼？』『耶和華說了什麼呢？』
你們若說『耶和華的默示』，耶和華就如此說：『因你們說「耶和華的默示」這句話，我也打發人到你們那裡去，告訴你們不可說「耶和華的默示」。』
所以我必全然忘記你們，將你們和我所賜給你們並你們列祖的城撇棄了；
又必使永遠的凌辱和長久的羞恥臨到你們，是不能忘記的。」
馬太福音 7:20

Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.
"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?'
所以，憑著他們的果子就可以認出他們來。」
「凡稱呼我『主啊，主啊』的人不能都進天國；惟獨遵行我天父旨意的人才能進去。
當那日必有許多人對我說：『主啊，主啊，我們不是奉你的名傳道，奉你的名趕鬼，奉你的名行許多異能嗎？』
哥林多前書 12:28

And God has placed in the church first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, of helping, of guidance, and of different kinds of tongues.
Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles?
Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues ? Do all interpret?
Now eagerly desire the greater gifts. And yet I will show you the most excellent way.
神在教會所設立的：第一是使徒，第二是先知，第三是教師，其次是行異能的，再次是得恩賜醫病的，幫助人的，治理事的，說方言的。
豈都是使徒嗎？豈都是先知嗎？豈都是教師嗎？豈都是行異能的嗎？
豈都是得恩賜醫病的嗎？豈都是說方言的嗎？豈都是繙方言的嗎？
你們要切切的求那更大的恩賜。我現今把最妙的道指示你們。
約翰一書 4:1

Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God,
but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.
親愛的弟兄啊，一切的靈，你們不可都信，總要試驗那些靈是出於神的不是，因為世上有許多假先知已經出來了。
凡靈認耶穌基督是成了肉身來的，就是出於神的；從此你們可以認出神的靈來。
凡靈不認耶穌，就不是出於神；這是那敵基督者的靈。你們從前聽見他要來，現在已經在世上了。
耶利米書 14:15
Therefore this is what the Lord says about the prophets who are prophesying in my name: I did not send them, yet they are saying, 'No sword or famine will touch this land.' Those same prophets will perish by sword and famine.
所以耶和華如此說：論到託我名說預言的那些先知，我並沒有打發他們；他們還說這地不能有刀劍饑荒，其實那些先知必被刀劍饑荒滅絕。
希伯來書 11:32

And what more shall I say? I do not have time to tell about Gideon, Barak, Samson and Jephthah, about David and Samuel and the prophets,
who through faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, and gained what was promised; who shut the mouths of lions,
quenched the fury of the flames, and escaped the edge of the sword; whose weakness was turned to strength; and who became powerful in battle and routed foreign armies.
Women received back their dead, raised to life again. There were others who were tortured, refusing to be released so that they might gain an even better resurrection.
Some faced jeers and flogging, and even chains and imprisonment.
They were put to death by stoning; they were sawed in two; they were killed by the sword. They went about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, persecuted and mistreated-
the world was not worthy of them. They wandered in deserts and mountains, living in caves and in holes in the ground.
These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised,
since God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect.
我又何必再說呢？若要一一細說，基甸、巴拉、參孫、耶弗他、大衛、撒母耳，和眾先知的事，時候就不夠了。
他們因著信，制伏了敵國，行了公義，得了應許，堵了獅子的口，
滅了烈火的猛勢，脫了刀劍的鋒刃；軟弱變為剛強，爭戰顯出勇敢，打退外邦的全軍。
有婦人得自己的死人復活。又有人忍受嚴刑，不肯苟且得釋放（原文作贖），為要得著更美的復活。
又有人忍受戲弄、鞭打、捆鎖、監禁、各等的磨煉，
被石頭打死，被鋸鋸死，受試探，被刀殺，披著綿羊山羊的皮各處奔跑，受窮乏、患難、苦害，
在曠野、山嶺、山洞、地穴，飄流無定，本是世界不配有的人。
這些人都是因信得了美好的證據，卻仍未得著所應許的；
因為神給我們預備了更美的事，叫他們若不與我們同得，就不能完全。
