When he saw Jesus, he cried out and fell at his feet, shouting at the top of his voice, "What do you want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg you, don't torture me!"
他見了耶穌，就俯伏在他面前，大聲喊叫，說：「至高神的兒子耶穌，我與你有什麼相干？求你不要叫我受苦！」

He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.

When Jesus got out of the boat, a man with an impure spirit came from the tombs to meet him.
This man lived in the tombs, and no one could bind him anymore, not even with a chain.
For he had often been chained hand and foot, but he tore the chains apart and broke the irons on his feet. No one was strong enough to subdue him.
Night and day among the tombs and in the hills he would cry out and cut himself with stones.
When he saw Jesus from a distance, he ran and fell on his knees in front of him.
He shouted at the top of his voice, "What do you want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? In God's name don't torture me!"
For Jesus had said to him, "Come out of this man, you impure spirit!"
Then Jesus asked him, "What is your name?" "My name is Legion," he replied, "for we are many."
And he begged Jesus again and again not to send them out of the area.
A large herd of pigs was feeding on the nearby hillside.
The demons begged Jesus, "Send us among the pigs; allow us to go into them."
He gave them permission, and the impure spirits came out and went into the pigs. The herd, about two thousand in number, rushed down the steep bank into the lake and were drowned.
Those tending the pigs ran off and reported this in the town and countryside, and the people went out to see what had happened.
When they came to Jesus, they saw the man who had been possessed by the legion of demons, sitting there, dressed and in his right mind; and they were afraid.
Those who had seen it told the people what had happened to the demon-possessed man-and told about the pigs as well.
Then the people began to plead with Jesus to leave their region.
As Jesus was getting into the boat, the man who had been demon-possessed begged to go with him.
Jesus did not let him, but said, "Go home to your own people and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you."
So the man went away and began to tell in the Decapolis how much Jesus had done for him. And all the people were amazed.
耶穌一下船，就有一個被污鬼附著的人從墳塋裡出來迎著他。
那人常住在墳塋裡，沒有人能捆住他，就是用鐵鍊也不能；
因為人屢次用腳鐐和鐵鍊捆鎖他，鐵鍊竟被他掙斷了，腳鐐也被他弄碎了；總沒有人能制伏他。
他晝夜常在墳塋裡和山中喊叫，又用石頭砍自己。
他遠遠的看見耶穌，就跑過去拜他，
大聲呼叫說：「至高神的兒子耶穌，我與你有什麼相干？我指著神懇求你，不要叫我受苦！」
是因耶穌曾吩咐他說：「污鬼啊，從這人身上出來吧！」
耶穌問他說：「你名叫什麼？」回答說：「我名叫『群』，因為我們多的緣故」；
就再三的求耶穌，不要叫他們離開那地方。
在那裡山坡上，有一大群豬吃食；
鬼就央求耶穌說：「求你打發我們往豬群裡，附著豬去。」
耶穌准了他們，污鬼就出來，進入豬裡去。於是那群豬闖下山崖，投在海裡，淹死了。豬的數目約有二千。
放豬的就逃跑了，去告訴城裡和鄉下的人。眾人就來，要看是什麼事。
他們來到耶穌那裡，看見那被鬼附著的人，就是從前被群鬼所附的，坐著，穿上衣服，心裡明白過來，他們就害怕。
看見這事的，便將鬼附之人所遇見的和那群豬的事都告訴了眾人；
眾人就央求耶穌離開他們的境界。
耶穌上船的時候，那從前被鬼附著的人懇求和耶穌同在。
耶穌不許，卻對他說：「你回家去，到你的親屬那裡，將主為你所做的是何等大的事，是怎樣憐憫你，都告訴他們。」
那人就走了，在低加波利傳揚耶穌為他做了何等大的事，眾人就都希奇。
以賽亞書 53:4

Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted.
But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.
他誠然擔當我們的憂患，背負我們的痛苦；我們卻以為他受責罰，被神擊打苦待了。
哪知他為我們的過犯受害，為我們的罪孽壓傷。因他受的刑罰，我們得平安；因他受的鞭傷，我們得醫治。

and provide for those who grieve in Zion- to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.
賜華冠與錫安悲哀的人，代替灰塵；喜樂油代替悲哀；讚美衣代替憂傷之靈；使他們稱為「公義樹」，是耶和華所栽的，叫他得榮耀。

While they were going out, a man who was demon-possessed and could not talk was brought to Jesus.
And when the demon was driven out, the man who had been mute spoke. The crowd was amazed and said, "Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel."
他們出去的時候，有人將鬼所附的一個啞巴帶到耶穌跟前來。
鬼被趕出去，啞巴就說出話來。眾人都希奇，說：「在以色列中，從來沒有見過這樣的事。」

A man in the crowd answered, "Teacher, I brought you my son, who is possessed by a spirit that has robbed him of speech.
Whenever it seizes him, it throws him to the ground. He foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth and becomes rigid. I asked your disciples to drive out the spirit, but they could not."
"You unbelieving generation," Jesus replied, "how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy to me."
So they brought him. When the spirit saw Jesus, it immediately threw the boy into a convulsion. He fell to the ground and rolled around, foaming at the mouth.
Jesus asked the boy's father, "How long has he been like this?" "From childhood," he answered.
"It has often thrown him into fire or water to kill him. But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us."
" 'If you can'?" said Jesus. "Everything is possible for one who believes."
Immediately the boy's father exclaimed, "I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!"
When Jesus saw that a crowd was running to the scene, he rebuked the impure spirit. "You deaf and mute spirit," he said, "I command you, come out of him and never enter him again."
The spirit shrieked, convulsed him violently and came out. The boy looked so much like a corpse that many said, "He's dead."
But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him to his feet, and he stood up.
After Jesus had gone indoors, his disciples asked him privately, "Why couldn't we drive it out?"
He replied, "This kind can come out only by prayer. "
眾人中間有一個人回答說：「夫子，我帶了我的兒子到你這裡來，他被啞巴鬼附著。
無論在那裡，鬼捉弄他，把他摔倒，他就口中流沫，咬牙切齒，身體枯乾。我請過你的門徒把鬼趕出去，他們卻是不能。」
耶穌說：「噯！不信的世代啊，我在你們這裡要到幾時呢？我忍耐你們要到幾時呢？把他帶到我這裡來吧。」
他們就帶了他來。他一見耶穌，鬼便叫他重重的抽瘋，倒在地上，翻來覆去，口中流沫。
耶穌問他父親說：「他得這病有多少日子呢？」回答說：「從小的時候。
鬼屢次把他扔在火裡、水裡，要滅他。你若能做什麼，求你憐憫我們，幫助我們。」
耶穌對他說：「你若能信，在信的人，凡事都能。」
孩子的父親立時喊著說（有古卷：立時流淚地喊著說）：「我信！但我信不足，求主幫助。」
耶穌看見眾人都跑上來，就斥責那污鬼說：「你這聾啞的鬼，我吩咐你從他裡頭出來，再不要進去！」
那鬼喊叫，使孩子大大的抽了一陣瘋，就出來了。孩子好像死了一般。以致眾人多半說：「他是死了。」
但耶穌拉著他的手，扶他起來，他就站起來了。
耶穌進了屋子，門徒就暗暗的問他說：「我們為什麼不能趕出他去呢？」
耶穌說：「非用禱告（有古卷加：禁食二字），這一類的鬼總不能出來（或作：不能趕出他去來）。」
使徒行傳 8:7
For with shrieks, impure spirits came out of many, and many who were paralyzed or lame were healed.
因為有許多人被污鬼附著，那些鬼大聲呼叫，從他們身上出來；還有許多癱瘓的，瘸腿的，都得了醫治。
使徒行傳 16:16

Once when we were going to the place of prayer, we were met by a female slave who had a spirit by which she predicted the future. She earned a great deal of money for her owners by fortune-telling.
She followed Paul and the rest of us, shouting, "These men are servants of the Most High God, who are telling you the way to be saved."
She kept this up for many days. Finally Paul became so annoyed that he turned around and said to the spirit, "In the name of Jesus Christ I command you to come out of her!" At that moment the spirit left her.
後來，我們往那禱告的地方去。有一個使女迎著面來，他被巫鬼所附，用法術，叫他主人們大得財利。

so that even handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched him were taken to the sick, and their illnesses were cured and the evil spirits left them.
Some Jews who went around driving out evil spirits tried to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who were demon-possessed. They would say, "In the name of the Jesus whom Paul preaches, I command you to come out."
Seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, were doing this.
One day the evil spirit answered them, "Jesus I know, and Paul I know about, but who are you?"
Then the man who had the evil spirit jumped on them and overpowered them all. He gave them such a beating that they ran out of the house naked and bleeding.
甚至有人從保羅身上拿手巾或圍裙放在病人身上，病就退了，惡鬼也出去了。
那時，有幾個遊行各處、念咒趕鬼的猶太人，向那被惡鬼附的人擅自稱主耶穌的名，說：「我奉保羅所傳的耶穌敕令你們出來！」

No, but the sacrifices of pagans are offered to demons, not to God, and I do not want you to be participants with demons.
You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons too; you cannot have a part in both the Lord's table and the table of demons.
我乃是說，外邦人所獻的祭是祭鬼，不是祭神。我不願意你們與鬼相交。
你們不能喝主的杯又喝鬼的杯，不能吃主的筵席又吃鬼的筵席。

"All this I will give you," he said, "if you will bow down and worship me."

When he arrived at the other side in the region of the Gadarenes, two demon-possessed men coming from the tombs met him. They were so violent that no one could pass that way.
"What do you want with us, Son of God?" they shouted. "Have you come here to torture us before the appointed time?"
Some distance from them a large herd of pigs was feeding.
The demons begged Jesus, "If you drive us out, send us into the herd of pigs."
He said to them, "Go!" So they came out and went into the pigs, and the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and died in the water.
Those tending the pigs ran off, went into the town and reported all this, including what had happened to the demon-possessed men.
Then the whole town went out to meet Jesus. And when they saw him, they pleaded with him to leave their region.
耶穌既渡到那邊去，來到加大拉人的地方，就有兩個被鬼附的人從墳塋裡出來迎著他，極其兇猛，甚至沒有人能從那條路上經過。
他們喊著說：「神的兒子，我們與你有什麼相干？時候還沒有到，你就上這裡來叫我們受苦嗎？」
離他們很遠，有一大群豬吃食。
鬼就央求耶穌，說：「若把我們趕出去，就打發我們進入豬群吧！」
耶穌說：「去吧！」鬼就出來，進入豬群。全群忽然闖下山崖，投在海裡淹死了。
放豬的就逃跑進城，將這一切事和被鬼附的人所遭遇的都告訴人。
合城的人都出來迎見耶穌，既見了就央求他離開他們的境界。
馬太福音 12:22
Then they brought him a demon-possessed man who was blind and mute, and Jesus healed him, so that he could both talk and see.
當下，有人將一個被鬼附著、又瞎又啞的人帶到耶穌那裡，耶穌就醫治他，甚至那啞巴又能說話，又能看見。

A Canaanite woman from that vicinity came to him, crying out, "Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me! My daughter is demon-possessed and suffering terribly."
Jesus did not answer a word. So his disciples came to him and urged him, "Send her away, for she keeps crying out after us."
He answered, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel."
The woman came and knelt before him. "Lord, help me!" she said.
He replied, "It is not right to take the children's bread and toss it to the dogs."
"Yes it is, Lord," she said. "Even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master's table."
Then Jesus said to her, "Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted." And her daughter was healed at that moment.
Jesus left there and went along the Sea of Galilee. Then he went up on a mountainside and sat down.
有一個迦南婦人，從那地方出來，喊著說：「主啊，大衛的子孫，可憐我！我女兒被鬼附得甚苦。」
耶穌卻一言不答。門徒進前來，求他說：「這婦人在我們後頭喊叫，請打發他走吧。」
耶穌說：「我奉差遣不過是到以色列家迷失的羊那裡去。」
那婦人來拜他，說：「主啊，幫助我！」
他回答說：「不好拿兒女的餅丟給狗吃。」
婦人說：「主啊，不錯；但是狗也吃他主人桌子上掉下來的碎渣兒。」
耶穌說：「婦人，你的信心是大的！照你所要的，給你成全了吧。」從那時候，他女兒就好了。
耶穌離開那地方，來到靠近加利利的海邊，就上山坐下。
馬可福音 1:23

Just then a man in their synagogue who was possessed by an impure spirit cried out,
"What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are-the Holy One of God!"
"Be quiet!" said Jesus sternly. "Come out of him!"
The impure spirit shook the man violently and came out of him with a shriek.
在會堂裡，有一個人被污鬼附著。他喊叫說：
「拿撒勒人耶穌，我們與你有什麼相干？你來滅我們嗎？我知道你是誰，乃是神的聖者。」

In fact, as soon as she heard about him, a woman whose little daughter was possessed by an impure spirit came and fell at his feet.
The woman was a Greek, born in Syrian Phoenicia. She begged Jesus to drive the demon out of her daughter.
"First let the children eat all they want," he told her, "for it is not right to take the children's bread and toss it to the dogs."
"Lord," she replied, "even the dogs under the table eat the children's crumbs."
Then he told her, "For such a reply, you may go; the demon has left your daughter."
She went home and found her child lying on the bed, and the demon gone.
當下，有一個婦人，他的小女兒被污鬼附著，聽見耶穌的事，就來俯伏在他腳前。
這婦人是希臘人，"屬敘利腓尼基族"。她求耶穌趕出那鬼離開她的女兒。

"Teacher," said John, "we saw someone driving out demons in your name and we told him to stop, because he was not one of us."
"Do not stop him," Jesus said. "For no one who does a miracle in my name can in the next moment say anything bad about me,
for whoever is not against us is for us.
Truly I tell you, anyone who gives you a cup of water in my name because you belong to the Messiah will certainly not lose their reward.
"If anyone causes one of these little ones-those who believe in me-to stumble, it would be better for them if a large millstone were hung around their neck and they were thrown into the sea.
約翰對耶穌說：「夫子，我們看見一個人奉你的名趕鬼，我們就禁止他，因為他不跟從我們。」
耶穌說：「不要禁止他；因為沒有人奉我名行異能，反倒輕易毀謗我。
不敵擋我們的，就是幫助我們的。
凡因你們是屬基督，給你們一杯水喝的，我實在告訴你們，他不能不得賞賜。」
「凡使這信我的一個小子跌倒的，倒不如把大磨石拴在這人的頸項上，扔在海裡。

And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues;
they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well."
信的人必有神蹟隨著他們，就是奉我的名趕鬼；說新方言；
手能拿蛇；若喝了什麼毒物，也必不受害；手按病人，病人就必好了。」

If you worship me, it will all be yours."

The next day, when they came down from the mountain, a large crowd met him.
A man in the crowd called out, "Teacher, I beg you to look at my son, for he is my only child.
A spirit seizes him and he suddenly screams; it throws him into convulsions so that he foams at the mouth. It scarcely ever leaves him and is destroying him.
I begged your disciples to drive it out, but they could not."
"You unbelieving and perverse generation," Jesus replied, "how long shall I stay with you and put up with you? Bring your son here."
Even while the boy was coming, the demon threw him to the ground in a convulsion. But Jesus rebuked the impure spirit, healed the boy and gave him back to his father.
第二天，他們下了山，就有許多人迎見耶穌。
其中有一人喊叫說：「夫子！求你看顧我的兒子，因為他是我的獨生子。
他被鬼抓住就忽然喊叫；鬼又叫他抽瘋，口中流沫，並且重重的傷害他，難以離開他。
我求過你的門徒，把鬼趕出去，他們卻是不能。」
耶穌說：「噯！這又不信又悖謬的世代啊，我在你們這裡，忍耐你們要到幾時呢？將你的兒子帶到這裡來吧！」
正來的時候，鬼把他摔倒，叫他重重的抽瘋。耶穌就斥責那污鬼，把孩子治好了，交給他父親。
路加福音 10:17
The seventy-two returned with joy and said, "Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name."
那七十個人歡歡喜喜的回來，說：「主啊！因你的名，就是鬼也服了我們。」
約翰福音 7:20
"You are demon-possessed," the crowd answered. "Who is trying to kill you?"
眾人回答說：「你是被鬼附著了！誰想要殺你？」

Crowds gathered also from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those tormented by impure spirits, and all of them were healed.

The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.
聖靈明說，在後來的時候，必有人離棄真道，聽從那引誘人的邪靈和鬼魔的道理。

And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their proper dwelling-these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day.

They must no longer offer any of their sacrifices to the goat idols to whom they prostitute themselves. This is to be a lasting ordinance for them and for the generations to come.'

They sacrificed to false gods, which are not God- gods they had not known, gods that recently appeared, gods your ancestors did not fear.

But an evil spirit from the Lord came on Saul as he was sitting in his house with his spear in his hand. While David was playing the lyre,
Saul tried to pin him to the wall with his spear, but David eluded him as Saul drove the spear into the wall. That night David made good his escape.

"So now the Lord has put a deceiving spirit in the mouths of all these prophets of yours. The Lord has decreed disaster for you."

Nehemiah said, "Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength."

They sacrificed their sons and their daughters to false gods.

撒迦利亞書 13:2
"On that day, I will banish the names of the idols from the land, and they will be remembered no more," declares the Lord Almighty. "I will remove both the prophets and the spirit of impurity from the land.
萬軍之耶和華說：「那日，我必從地上除滅偶像的名，不再被人記念；也必使這地不再有假先知與污穢的靈。
馬太福音 8:16
When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to him, and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick.

Jesus was driving out a demon that was mute. When the demon left, the man who had been mute spoke, and the crowd was amazed.

Now the Spirit of the Lord had departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the Lord tormented him.
Saul's attendants said to him, "See, an evil spirit from God is tormenting you.
Let our lord command his servants here to search for someone who can play the lyre. He will play when the evil spirit from God comes on you, and you will feel better."
So Saul said to his attendants, "Find someone who plays well and bring him to me."
One of the servants answered, "I have seen a son of Jesse of Bethlehem who knows how to play the lyre. He is a brave man and a warrior. He speaks well and is a fine-looking man. And the Lord is with him."
Then Saul sent messengers to Jesse and said, "Send me your son David, who is with the sheep."
So Jesse took a donkey loaded with bread, a skin of wine and a young goat and sent them with his son David to Saul.
David came to Saul and entered his service. Saul liked him very much, and David became one of his armor-bearers.
Then Saul sent word to Jesse, saying, "Allow David to remain in my service, for I am pleased with him."
Whenever the spirit from God came on Saul, David would take up his lyre and play. Then relief would come to Saul; he would feel better, and the evil spirit would leave him.
耶和華的靈離開掃羅，有惡魔從耶和華那裡來擾亂他。
掃羅的臣僕對他說：「現在有惡魔從神那裡來擾亂你。
我們的主可以吩咐面前的臣僕，找一個善於彈琴的來，等神那裡來的惡魔臨到你身上的時候，使他用手彈琴，你就好了。」
掃羅對臣僕說：「你們可以為我找一個善於彈琴的，帶到我這裡來。」
其中有一個少年人說：「我曾見伯利恆人耶西的一個兒子善於彈琴，是大有勇敢的戰士，說話合宜，容貌俊美，耶和華也與他同在。」
於是掃羅差遣使者去見耶西，說：「請你打發你放羊的兒子大衛到我這裡來。」
耶西就把幾個餅和一皮袋酒，並一隻山羊羔，都馱在驢上，交給他兒子大衛，送與掃羅。
大衛到了掃羅那裡，就侍立在掃羅面前。掃羅甚喜愛他，他就作了掃羅拿兵器的人。
掃羅差遣人去見耶西，說：「求你容大衛侍立在我面前，因為他在我眼前蒙了恩。」
從神那裡來的惡魔臨到掃羅身上的時候，大衛就拿琴，用手而彈，掃羅便舒暢爽快，惡魔離了他。
馬可福音 3:11
Whenever the impure spirits saw him, they fell down before him and cried out, "You are the Son of God."
污鬼無論何時看見他，就俯伏在他面前，喊著說：「你是神的兒子。」

And the teachers of the law who came down from Jerusalem said, "He is possessed by Beelzebul! By the prince of demons he is driving out demons."
So Jesus called them over to him and began to speak to them in parables: "How can Satan drive out Satan?
If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.
If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.
And if Satan opposes himself and is divided, he cannot stand; his end has come.
In fact, no one can enter a strong man's house without first tying him up. Then he can plunder the strong man's house.
Truly I tell you, people can be forgiven all their sins and every slander they utter,
but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; they are guilty of an eternal sin."
He said this because they were saying, "He has an impure spirit."
從耶路撒冷下來的文士說：「他是被別西卜附著」；又說：「他是靠著鬼王趕鬼。」
耶穌叫他們來，用比喻對他們說：「撒但怎能趕出撒但呢？
若一國自相分爭，那國就站立不住；
若一家自相分爭，那家就站立不住。
若撒但自相攻打分爭，他就站立不住，必要滅亡。
沒有人能進壯士家裡，搶奪他的家具；必先捆住那壯士，才可以搶奪他的家。。
我實在告訴你們，世人一切的罪和一切褻瀆的話都可得赦免；
凡褻瀆聖靈的，卻永不得赦免，乃要擔當永遠的罪。」
這話是因為他們說：「他是被污鬼附著的。」
路加福音 4:33

In the synagogue there was a man possessed by a demon, an impure spirit. He cried out at the top of his voice,
"Go away! What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are-the Holy One of God!"
"Be quiet!" Jesus said sternly. "Come out of him!" Then the demon threw the man down before them all and came out without injuring him.
在會堂裡有一個人，被污鬼的精氣附著，大聲喊叫說：
「唉！拿撒勒的耶穌，我們與你有什麼相干？你來滅我們嗎？我知道你是誰，乃是神的聖者。」
耶穌責備他說：「不要作聲，從這人身上出來吧！」鬼把那人摔倒在眾人中間，就出來了，卻也沒有害他。
路加福音 8:2

and also some women who had been cured of evil spirits and diseases: Mary (called Magdalene) from whom seven demons had come out;
Joanna the wife of Chuza, the manager of Herod's household; Susanna; and many others. These women were helping to support them out of their own means.
還有被惡鬼所附、被疾病所累、已經治好的幾個婦女，內中有稱為抹大拉的馬利亞（曾有七個鬼從他身上趕出來），
又有希律的家宰苦撒的妻子約亞拿，並蘇撒拿，和好些別的婦女，都是用自己的財物供給耶穌和門徒。
約翰福音 10:20

Many of them said, "He is demon-possessed and raving mad. Why listen to him?"
But others said, "These are not the sayings of a man possessed by a demon. Can a demon open the eyes of the blind?"
內中有好些人說：「他是被鬼附著，而且瘋了，為什麼聽他呢？」
又有人說：「這不是鬼附之人所說的話。鬼豈能叫瞎子的眼睛開了呢？」
哥林多後書 12:9
But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.
他對我說：「我的恩典夠你用的，因為我的能力是在人的軟弱上顯得完全。」所以，我更喜歡誇自己的軟弱，好叫基督的能力覆庇我。
啟示錄 9:20
The rest of mankind who were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the work of their hands; they did not stop worshiping demons, and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone and wood-idols that cannot see or hear or walk.
其餘未曾被這些災所殺的人仍舊不悔改自己手所做的，還是去拜鬼魔和那些不能看、不能聽、不能走，金、銀、銅、木、石的偶像，

Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back.
But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven.
The great dragon was hurled down-that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.
在天上就有了爭戰。米迦勒同他的使者與龍爭戰，龍也同他的使者去爭戰，
並沒有得勝，天上再沒有他們的地方。
大龍就是那古蛇，名叫魔鬼，又叫撒但，是迷惑普天下的。他被摔在地上，他的使者也一同被摔下去。
士師記 9:23

God stirred up animosity between Abimelek and the citizens of Shechem so that they acted treacherously against Abimelek.
God did this in order that the crime against Jerub-Baal's seventy sons, the shedding of their blood, might be avenged on their brother Abimelek and on the citizens of Shechem, who had helped him murder his brothers.
In opposition to him these citizens of Shechem set men on the hilltops to ambush and rob everyone who passed by, and this was reported to Abimelek.
Now Gaal son of Ebed moved with his clan into Shechem, and its citizens put their confidence in him.
After they had gone out into the fields and gathered the grapes and trodden them, they held a festival in the temple of their god. While they were eating and drinking, they cursed Abimelek.
Then Gaal son of Ebed said, "Who is Abimelek, and why should we Shechemites be subject to him? Isn't he Jerub-Baal's son, and isn't Zebul his deputy? Serve the family of Hamor, Shechem's father! Why should we serve Abimelek?
If only this people were under my command! Then I would get rid of him. I would say to Abimelek, 'Call out your whole army!' "
神使惡魔降在亞比米勒和示劍人中間，示劍人就以詭詐待亞比米勒。
這是要叫耶路巴力七十個兒子所受的殘害歸與他們的哥哥亞比米勒，又叫那流他們血的罪歸與幫助他殺弟兄的示劍人。
示劍人在山頂上設埋伏，等候亞比米勒。凡從他們那裡經過的人，他們就搶奪。有人將這事告訴亞比米勒。
以別的兒子迦勒和他的弟兄來到示劍，示劍人都信靠他。
示劍人出城到田間去，摘下葡萄，踹酒，設擺筵宴，進他們神的廟中吃喝，咒詛亞比米勒。
以別的兒子迦勒說：「亞比米勒是誰？示劍是誰？使我們服事他呢？他不是耶路巴力的兒子嗎？他的幫手不是西布勒嗎？你們可以服事示劍的父親哈抹的後裔。我們為何服事亞比米勒呢？
惟願這民歸我的手下，我就除掉亞比米勒。」迦勒又對亞比米勒說：「增添你的軍兵出來吧。」
