路加福音 17:1 - 4 Jesus said to his disciples: "Things that cause people to stumble are bound to come, but woe to anyone through whom they come. It would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their neck than to cause one of these little ones to stumble. So watch yourselves. "If your brother or sister ote style="f" caller="+"> 17:3 The Greek word for brother or sister ( adelphos ) refers here to a fellow disciple, whether man or woman. sins against you, rebuke them; and if they repent, forgive them. Even if they sin against you seven times in a day and seven times come back to you saying 'I repent,' you must forgive them."
耶穌又對門徒說:「絆倒人的事是免不了的;但那絆倒人的有禍了。 就是把磨石拴在這人的頸項上,丟在海裡,還強如他把這小子裡的一個絆倒了。 你們要謹慎!若是你的弟兄得罪你,就勸戒他;他若懊悔,就饒恕他。 倘若他一天七次得罪你,又七次回轉,說:『我懊悔了』,你總要饒恕他。」
馬太福音 18:6 - 9 "If anyone causes one of these little ones-those who believe in me-to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble! Such things must come, but woe to the person through whom they come! If your hand or your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life maimed or crippled than to have two hands or two feet and be thrown into eternal fire. And if your eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell.
「凡使這信我的一個小子跌倒的,倒不如把大磨石拴在這人的頸項上,沉在深海裡。 這世界有禍了,因為將人絆倒;絆倒人的事是免不了的,但那絆倒人的有禍了! 倘若你一隻手,或是一隻腳,叫你跌倒,就砍下來丟掉。你缺一隻手,或是一隻腳,進入永生,強如有兩手兩腳被丟在永火裡。 倘若你一隻眼叫你跌倒,就把他剜出來丟掉。你只有一隻眼進入永生,強如有兩隻眼被丟在地獄的火裡。」
羅馬書 14:13 Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister.
所以,我們不可再彼此論斷,寧可定意誰也不給弟兄放下絆腳跌人之物。
哥林多前書 8:9 Be careful, however, that the exercise of your rights does not become a stumbling block to the weak.
只是你們要謹慎,恐怕你們這自由竟成了那軟弱人的絆腳石。
