腓立比書 2:14 Do everything without grumbling or arguing,
凡所行的,都不要發怨言,起爭論,
以弗所書 4:29 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.
污穢的言語一句不可出口,只要隨事說造就人的好話,叫聽見的人得益處。

民數記 11:1 - 4 Now the people complained about their hardships in the hearing of the Lord, and when he heard them his anger was aroused. Then fire from the Lord burned among them and consumed some of the outskirts of the camp. When the people cried out to Moses, he prayed to the Lord and the fire died down. So that place was called Taberah, because fire from the Lord had burned among them. The rabble with them began to crave other food, and again the Israelites started wailing and said, "If only we had meat to eat!

哥林多前書 10:10 And do not grumble, as some of them did-and were killed by the destroying angel.

羅馬書 12:2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-his good, pleasing and perfect will.

民數記 21:4 - 6 They traveled from Mount Hor along the route to the Red Sea, to go around Edom. But the people grew impatient on the way; they spoke against God and against Moses, and said, "Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? There is no bread! There is no water! And we detest this miserable food!" Then the Lord sent venomous snakes among them; they bit the people and many Israelites died.
他們從何珥山起行,往紅海那條路走,要繞過以東地。百姓因這路難行,心中甚是煩躁, 就怨讟神和摩西說:「你們為什麼把我們從埃及領出來、使我們死在曠野呢?這裡沒有糧,沒有水,我們的心厭惡這淡薄的食物。」 於是耶和華使火蛇進入百姓中間,蛇就咬他們。以色列人中死了許多。
腓立比書 4:11 - 12 I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.

腓立比書 2:12 - 16 Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed-not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence-continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose. Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, "children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation." Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky as you hold firmly to the word of life. And then I will be able to boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor in vain.
這樣看來,我親愛的弟兄,你們既是常順服的,不但我在你們那裡,就是我如今不在你們那裡,更是順服的,就當恐懼戰兢做成你們得救的工夫。 因為你們立志行事都是神在你們心裡運行,為要成就他的美意。 凡所行的,都不要發怨言,起爭論, 使你們無可指摘,誠實無偽,在這彎曲悖謬的世代作神無瑕疵的兒女。你們顯在這世代中,好像明光照耀, 將生命的道表明出來,叫我在基督的日子好誇我沒有空跑,也沒有徒勞。
箴言 17:22 A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.
喜樂的心乃是良藥;憂傷的靈使骨枯乾。
耶利米書 12:1 - 5 You are always righteous, Lord, when I bring a case before you. Yet I would speak with you about your justice: Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why do all the faithless live at ease? You have planted them, and they have taken root; they grow and bear fruit. You are always on their lips but far from their hearts. Yet you know me, Lord; you see me and test my thoughts about you. Drag them off like sheep to be butchered! Set them apart for the day of slaughter! How long will the land lie parched and the grass in every field be withered? Because those who live in it are wicked, the animals and birds have perished. Moreover, the people are saying, "He will not see what happens to us." "If you have raced with men on foot and they have worn you out, how can you compete with horses? If you stumble in safe country, how will you manage in the thickets by the Jordan?
耶和華啊,我與你爭辯的時候,你顯為義;但有一件,我還要與你理論:惡人的道路為何亨通呢?大行詭詐的為何得安逸呢? 你栽培了他們,他們也扎了根,長大,而且結果。他們的口是與你相近,心卻與你遠離。 耶和華啊,你曉得我,看見我,察驗我向你是怎樣的心。求你將他們拉出來,好像將宰的羊,叫他們等候殺戮的日子。 這地悲哀,通國的青草枯乾,要到幾時呢?因其上居民的惡行,牲畜和飛鳥都滅絕了。他們曾說:他看不見我們的結局。 耶和華說:你若與步行的人同跑,尚且覺累,怎能與馬賽跑呢?你在平安之地,雖然安穩,在約但河邊的叢林要怎樣行呢?
以西結書 33:14 - 19 And if I say to a wicked person, 'You will surely die,' but they then turn away from their sin and do what is just and right- if they give back what they took in pledge for a loan, return what they have stolen, follow the decrees that give life, and do no evil-that person will surely live; they will not die. None of the sins that person has committed will be remembered against them. They have done what is just and right; they will surely live. "Yet your people say, 'The way of the Lord is not just.' But it is their way that is not just. If a righteous person turns from their righteousness and does evil, they will die for it. And if a wicked person turns away from their wickedness and does what is just and right, they will live by doing so.
再者,我對惡人說:『你必定死亡!』他若轉離他的罪,行正直與合理的事: 還人的當頭和所搶奪的,遵行生命的律例,不作罪孽,他必定存活,不至死亡。 他所犯的一切罪必不被記念。他行了正直與合理的事,必定存活。 「你本國的子民還說:『主的道不公平。』其實他們的道不公平。 義人轉離他的義而作罪孽,就必因此死亡。 惡人轉離他的惡,行正直與合理的事,就必因此存活。
羅馬書 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
但願使人有盼望的神,因信將諸般的喜樂、平安充滿你們的心,使你們藉著聖靈的能力大有盼望。
詩篇 127:1 - 5 Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain. In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat- for he grants sleep to those he loves. Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court.
(所羅門上行之詩。)若不是耶和華建造房屋,建造的人就枉然勞力;若不是耶和華看守城池,看守的人就枉然警醒。 你們清晨早起,夜晚安歇,吃勞碌得來的飯,本是枉然;惟有耶和華所親愛的,必叫他安然睡覺。 兒女是耶和華所賜的產業;所懷的胎是他所給的賞賜。 少年時所生的兒女好像勇士手中的箭。 箭袋充滿的人便為有福;他們在城門口和仇敵說話的時候,必不至於羞愧。
以賽亞書 59:1 - 2 Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.
耶和華的膀臂並非縮短,不能拯救,耳朵並非發沉,不能聽見, 但你們的罪孽使你們與神隔絕;你們的罪惡使他掩面不聽你們。

雅各書 1:2 - 4 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

使徒行傳 6:1 - 3 In those days when the number of disciples was increasing, the Hellenistic Jews among them complained against the Hebraic Jews because their widows were being overlooked in the daily distribution of food. So the Twelve gathered all the disciples together and said, "It would not be right for us to neglect the ministry of the word of God in order to wait on tables. Brothers and sisters, choose seven men from among you who are known to be full of the Spirit and wisdom. We will turn this responsibility over to them

以賽亞書 43:18 - 19 "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.
耶和華如此說:你們不要記念從前的事,也不要思想古時的事。 看哪,我要做一件新事;如今要發現,你們豈不知道嗎?我必在曠野開道路,在沙漠開江河。
以弗所書 2:10 For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
我們原是他的工作,在基督耶穌裡造成的,為要叫我們行善,就是神所預備叫我們行的。
歌羅西書 3:12 Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
所以,你們既是神的選民,聖潔蒙愛的人,就要存(原文作穿;下同)憐憫、恩慈、謙虛、溫柔、忍耐的心。
帖撒羅尼迦前書 5:9 - 10 For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him.
因為神不是預定我們受刑,乃是預定我們藉著我們主耶穌基督得救。 他替我們死,叫我們無論醒著、睡著,都與他同活。
希伯來書 4:12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
神的道是活潑的,是有功效的,比一切兩刃的劍更快,甚至魂與靈,骨節與骨髓,都能刺入、剖開,連心中的思念和主意都能辨明。
猶大書 1:14 - 16 Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about them: "See, the Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones to judge everyone, and to convict all of them of all the ungodly acts they have committed in their ungodliness, and of all the defiant words ungodly sinners have spoken against him." These people are grumblers and faultfinders; they follow their own evil desires; they boast about themselves and flatter others for their own advantage.
亞當的七世孫以諾,曾預言這些人說:「看哪,主帶著他的千萬聖者降臨, 要在眾人身上行審判,證實那一切不敬虔的人,所妄行一切不敬虔的事,又證實不敬虔之罪人所說頂撞他的剛愎話。」 這些人是私下議論,常發怨言的,隨從自己的情慾而行,口中說誇大的話,為得便宜諂媚人。
