歌羅西書 4:1 Masters, provide your slaves with what is right and fair, because you know that you also have a Master in heaven.
你們作主人的,要公公平平的待僕人,因為知道你們也有一位主在天上。
雅各書 5:4 Look! The wages you failed to pay the workers who mowed your fields are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord Almighty.
工人給你們收割莊稼,你們虧欠他們的工錢,這工錢有聲音呼叫,並且那收割之人的冤聲已經入了萬軍之主的耳了。

提摩太前書 6:2 Those who have believing masters should not show them disrespect just because they are fellow believers. Instead, they should serve them even better because their masters are dear to them as fellow believers and are devoted to the welfare of their slaves. These are the things you are to teach and insist on.
僕人有信道的主人,不可因為與他是弟兄就輕看他;更要加意服事他;因為得服事之益處的,是信道蒙愛的。你要以此教訓人,勸勉人。
利未記 25:43 Do not rule over them ruthlessly, but fear your God.

僕人知道主人的意思,卻不預備,又不順他的意思行,那僕人必多受責打;
歌羅西書 3:23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters,
無論做什麼,都要從心裡做,像是給主做的,不是給人做的,

彼得前書 2:18 - 20 Slaves, in reverent fear of God submit yourselves to your masters, not only to those who are good and considerate, but also to those who are harsh. For it is commendable if someone bears up under the pain of unjust suffering because they are conscious of God. But how is it to your credit if you receive a beating for doing wrong and endure it? But if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before God.
你們作僕人的,凡事要存敬畏的心順服主人;不但順服那善良溫和的,就是那乖僻的也要順服。 倘若人為叫良心對得住神,就忍受冤屈的苦楚,這是可喜愛的。 你們若因犯罪受責打,能忍耐,有什麼可誇的呢?但你們若因行善受苦,能忍耐,這在神看是可喜愛的。
提多書 2:9 Teach slaves to be subject to their masters in everything, to try to please them, not to talk back to them,
勸僕人要順服自己的主人,凡事討他的喜歡,不可頂撞他,

馬太福音 20:10 - 15 So when those came who were hired first, they expected to receive more. But each one of them also received a denarius. When they received it, they began to grumble against the landowner. 'These who were hired last worked only one hour,' they said, 'and you have made them equal to us who have borne the burden of the work and the heat of the day.' "But he answered one of them, 'I am not being unfair to you, friend. Didn't you agree to work for a denarius? Take your pay and go. I want to give the one who was hired last the same as I gave you. Don't I have the right to do what I want with my own money? Or are you envious because I am generous?'
及至那先雇的來了,他們以為必要多得;誰知也是各得一錢。 他們得了,就埋怨家主說: 『我們整天勞苦受熱,那後來的只做了一小時,你竟叫他們和我們一樣嗎?』 家主回答其中的一人說:『朋友,我不虧負你,你與我講定的不是一錢銀子嗎? 拿你的走吧!我給那後來的和給你一樣,這是我願意的。 我的東西難道不可隨我的意思用嗎?因為我作好人,你就紅了眼嗎?』
馬太福音 24:46 It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns.
主人來到,看見他這樣行,那僕人就有福了。
路加福音 10:7 Stay there, eating and drinking whatever they give you, for the worker deserves his wages. Do not move around from house to house.
你們要住在那家,吃喝他們所供給的,因為工人得工價是應當的;不要從這家搬到那家。
提摩太前書 5:18 For Scripture says, "Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain," and "The worker deserves his wages."
因為經上說:「牛在場上踹穀的時候,不可籠住他的嘴」;又說:「工人得工價是應當的。」
申命記 24:14 Do not take advantage of a hired worker who is poor and needy, whether that worker is a fellow Israelite or a foreigner residing in one of your towns.

萬軍之耶和華說:「我必臨近你們,施行審判。我必速速作見證,警戒行邪術的、犯姦淫的、起假誓的、虧負人之工價的、欺壓寡婦孤兒的、屈枉寄居的,和不敬畏我的。」
羅馬書 13:4 For the one in authority is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God's servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer.
因為他是神的用人,是與你有益的。你若作惡,卻當懼怕;因為他不是空空的佩劍,他是神的用人,是伸冤的,刑罰那作惡的。
提摩太前書 2:1 - 2 I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people- for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.
我勸你,第一要為萬人懇求、禱告、代求、祝謝; 為君王和一切在位的,也該如此,使我們可以敬虔、端正、平安無事的度日。
詩篇 123:2 As the eyes of slaves look to the hand of their master, as the eyes of a female slave look to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the Lord our God, till he shows us his mercy.
看哪,僕人的眼睛怎樣望主人的手,使女的眼睛怎樣望主母的手,我們的眼睛也照樣望耶和華我們的神,直到他憐憫我們。
箴言 27:18 The one who guards a fig tree will eat its fruit, and whoever protects their master will be honored.

你是誰,竟論斷別人的僕人呢?他或站住,或跌倒,自有他的主人在;而且他也必要站住,因為主能使他站住。
