創世記 6:17 I am going to bring floodwaters on the earth to destroy all life under the heavens, every creature that has the breath of life in it. Everything on earth will perish.
看哪，我要使洪水氾濫在地上，毀滅天下；凡地上有血肉、有氣息的活物，無一不死。

彼得後書 2:5 if he did not spare the ancient world when he brought the flood on its ungodly people, but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, and seven others;
神也沒有寬容上古的世代，曾叫洪水臨到那不敬虔的世代，卻保護了傳義道的挪亞一家八口。

洪水泛濫之時，耶和華坐著為王；耶和華坐著為王，直到永遠。

詩篇 107:25 - 30 For he spoke and stirred up a tempest that lifted high the waves. They mounted up to the heavens and went down to the depths; in their peril their courage melted away. They reeled and staggered like drunkards; they were at their wits' end. Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and he brought them out of their distress. He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed. They were glad when it grew calm, and he guided them to their desired haven.
因他一吩咐，狂風就起來，海中的波浪也揚起。他們上到天空，下到海底；他們的心因患難便消化。他們搖搖幌幌，東倒西歪，好像醉酒的人；他們的智慧無法可施。於是，他們在苦難中哀求耶和華，他從他們的禍患中領出他們來。他使狂風止息，波浪就平靜。風息浪靜，他們便歡喜；他就引他們到所願去的海口。

馬太福音 24:44 So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.
所以，你們也要預備，因為你們想不到的時候，人子就來了。」

創世記 7:6 Noah was six hundred years old when the floodwaters came on the earth.
當洪水氾濫在地上的時候，挪亞整六百歲。

創世記 7:10 And after the seven days the floodwaters came on the earth.
過了那七天，洪水氾濫在地上。

創世記 7:17 For forty days the flood kept coming on the earth, and as the waters increased they lifted the ark high above the earth.
洪水氾濫在地上四十天，水往上長，把方舟從地上漂起。

馬太福音 24:38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark;
當洪水以前的日子，人照常吃喝嫁娶，直到挪亞進方舟的那日；

馬太福音 24:39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.
不知不覺洪水來了，把他們全都沖去。人子降臨也要這樣。

路加福音 17:27 People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all.
那時候的人又吃又喝，又娶又嫁，到挪亞進方舟的那日，洪水就來，把他們全都滅了。
