創世記 27:3
Now then, get your equipment-your quiver and bow-and go out to the open country to hunt some wild game for me.
現在拿你的器械，就是箭囊和弓，往田野去為我打獵，
耶利米書 16:16
"But now I will send for many fishermen," declares the Lord, "and they will catch them. After that I will send for many hunters, and they will hunt them down on every mountain and hill and from the crevices of the rocks.

神說：「看哪，我將遍地上一切結種子的菜蔬和一切樹上所結有核的果子全賜給你們作食物。
至於地上的走獸和空中的飛鳥，並各樣爬在地上有生命的物，我將青草賜給他們作食物。」事就這樣成了。
以賽亞書 11:6

The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together; and a little child will lead them.
The cow will feed with the bear, their young will lie down together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox.
The infant will play near the cobra's den, and the young child will put its hand into the viper's nest.
They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain, for the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.
豺狼必與綿羊羔同居，豹子與山羊羔同臥；少壯獅子與牛犢並肥畜同群；小孩子要牽引他們。
牛必與熊同食；牛犢必與小熊同臥；獅子必吃草，與牛一樣。
吃奶的孩子必玩耍在虺蛇的洞口；斷奶的嬰兒必按手在毒蛇的穴上。
在我聖山的遍處，這一切都不傷人，不害物；因為認識耶和華的知識要充滿遍地，好像水充滿洋海一般。
提摩太前書 4:1

The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.
Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron.
They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth.
For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving,
because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer.
聖靈明說，在後來的時候，必有人離棄真道，聽從那引誘人的邪靈和鬼魔的道理。
這是因為說謊之人的假冒；這等人的良心如同被熱鐵烙慣了一般。
他們禁止嫁娶，又禁戒食物（或作：又叫人戒葷），就是神所造、叫那信而明白真道的人感謝著領受的。
凡神所造的物都是好的，若感謝著領受，就沒有一樣可棄的，
都因神的道和人的祈求成為聖潔了。
創世記 25:27
The boys grew up, and Esau became a skillful hunter, a man of the open country, while Jacob was content to stay at home among the tents.
兩個孩子漸漸長大，以掃善於打獵，常在田野；雅各為人安靜，常住在帳棚裡。
