Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things.
應當一無掛慮,只要凡事藉著禱告、祈求,和感謝,將你們所要的告訴神。

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God-this is your true and proper worship.
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-his good, pleasing and perfect will.

"I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.
"You shall have no other gods before me.
"You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.
You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me,
but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.
"You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.
"Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy.
Six days you shall labor and do all your work,
but the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns.
For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.
"Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you.
"You shall not murder.
"You shall not commit adultery.
"You shall not steal.
"You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.
"You shall not covet your neighbor's house. You shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his male or female servant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor."
When the people saw the thunder and lightning and heard the trumpet and saw the mountain in smoke, they trembled with fear. They stayed at a distance
and said to Moses, "Speak to us yourself and we will listen. But do not have God speak to us or we will die."
Moses said to the people, "Do not be afraid. God has come to test you, so that the fear of God will be with you to keep you from sinning."
The people remained at a distance, while Moses approached the thick darkness where God was.
Then the Lord said to Moses, "Tell the Israelites this: 'You have seen for yourselves that I have spoken to you from heaven:
Do not make any gods to be alongside me; do not make for yourselves gods of silver or gods of gold.
" 'Make an altar of earth for me and sacrifice on it your burnt offerings and fellowship offerings, your sheep and goats and your cattle. Wherever I cause my name to be honored, I will come to you and bless you.
If you make an altar of stones for me, do not build it with dressed stones, for you will defile it if you use a tool on it.
And do not go up to my altar on steps, or your private parts may be exposed.'
神吩咐這一切的話說:
「我是耶和華你的神,曾將你從埃及地為奴之家領出來。
「除了我以外,你不可有別的神。
「不可為自己雕刻偶像,也不可做什麼形像彷彿上天、下地,和地底下、水中的百物。
不可跪拜那些像,也不可事奉他,因為我耶和華你的神是忌邪的神。恨我的,我必追討他的罪,自父及子,直到三四代;
愛我、守我誡命的,我必向他們發慈愛,直到千代。
「不可妄稱耶和華你神的名;因為妄稱耶和華名的,耶和華必不以他為無罪。
「當記念安息日,守為聖日。
六日要勞碌做你一切的工,

對摩西說:「求你和我們說話,我們必聽;不要神和我們說話,恐怕我們死亡。」
摩西對百姓說:「不要懼怕;因為神降臨是要試驗你們,叫你們時常敬畏他,不至犯罪。」
於是百姓遠遠的站立;摩西就挨近神所在的幽暗之中。
耶和華對摩西說:「你要向以色列人這樣說:『你們自己看見我從天上和你們說話了。
你們不可做什麼神像與我相配,不可為自己做金銀的神像。
你要為我築土壇,在上面以牛羊獻為燔祭和平安祭。凡記下我名的地方,我必到那裡賜福給你。
你若為我築一座石壇,不可用鑿成的石頭,因你在上頭一動家具,就把壇污穢了。
你上我的壇,不可用臺階,免得露出你的下體來。』」
申命記 28:1

Your basket and your kneading trough will be blessed.
You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out.
The Lord will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven.
The Lord will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. The Lord your God will bless you in the land he is giving you.
If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth.
All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God:
You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country.
The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and the crops of your land and the young of your livestock-the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks.
The Lord will establish you as his holy people, as he promised you on oath, if you keep the commands of the Lord your God and walk in obedience to him.
Then all the peoples on earth will see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they will fear you.
The Lord will grant you abundant prosperity-in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your ground-in the land he swore to your ancestors to give you.
The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none.
The Lord will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the Lord your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom.
Do not turn aside from any of the commands I give you today, to the right or to the left, following other gods and serving them.
However, if you do not obey the Lord your God and do not carefully follow all his commands and decrees I am giving you today, all these curses will come on you and overtake you:
You will be cursed in the city and cursed in the country.
Your basket and your kneading trough will be cursed.
The fruit of your womb will be cursed, and the crops of your land, and the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks.
You will be cursed when you come in and cursed when you go out.
The Lord will send on you curses, confusion and rebuke in everything you put your hand to, until you are destroyed and come to sudden ruin because of the evil you have done in forsaking him.
The Lord will plague you with diseases until he has destroyed you from the land you are entering to possess.
The Lord will strike you with wasting disease, with fever and inflammation, with scorching heat and drought, with blight and mildew, which will plague you until you perish.
The sky over your head will be bronze, the ground beneath you iron.
The Lord will turn the rain of your country into dust and powder; it will come down from the skies until you are destroyed.
The Lord will cause you to be defeated before your enemies. You will come at them from one direction but flee from them in seven, and you will become a thing of horror to all the kingdoms on earth.
Your carcasses will be food for all the birds and the wild animals, and there will be no one to frighten them away.
The Lord will afflict you with the boils of Egypt and with tumors, festering sores and the itch, from which you cannot be cured.
The Lord will afflict you with madness, blindness and confusion of mind.
At midday you will grope about like a blind person in the dark. You will be unsuccessful in everything you do; day after day you will be oppressed and robbed, with no one to rescue you.
You will be pledged to be married to a woman, but another will take her and rape her. You will build a house, but you will not live in it. You will plant a vineyard, but you will not even begin to enjoy its fruit.
Your ox will be slaughtered before your eyes, but you will eat none of it. Your donkey will be forcibly taken from you and will not be returned. Your sheep will be given to your enemies, and no one will rescue them.
Your sons and daughters will be given to another nation, and you will wear out your eyes watching for them day after day, powerless to lift a hand.
A people that you do not know will eat what your land and labor produce, and you will have nothing but cruel oppression all your days.
The sights you see will drive you mad.
The Lord will afflict your knees and legs with painful boils that cannot be cured, spreading from the soles of your feet to the top of your head.
The Lord will drive you and the king you set over you to a nation unknown to you or your ancestors. There you will worship other gods, gods of wood and stone.
You will become a thing of horror, a byword and an object of ridicule among all the peoples where the Lord will drive you.
You will sow much seed in the field but you will harvest little, because locusts will devour it.
You will plant vineyards and cultivate them but you will not drink the wine or gather the grapes, because worms will eat them.
You will have olive trees throughout your country but you will not use the oil, because the olives will drop off.
You will have sons and daughters but you will not keep them, because they will go into captivity.
Swarms of locusts will take over all your trees and the crops of your land.
The foreigners who reside among you will rise above you higher and higher, but you will sink lower and lower.
They will lend to you, but you will not lend to them. They will be the head, but you will be the tail.
All these curses will come on you. They will pursue you and overtake you until you are destroyed, because you did not obey the Lord your God and observe the commands and decrees he gave you.
They will be a sign and a wonder to you and your descendants forever.
Because you did not serve the Lord your God joyfully and gladly in the time of prosperity,
therefore in hunger and thirst, in nakedness and dire poverty, you will serve the enemies the Lord sends against you. He will put an iron yoke on your neck until he has destroyed you.
The Lord will bring a nation against you from far away, from the ends of the earth, like an eagle swooping down, a nation whose language you will not understand,
a fierce-looking nation without respect for the old or pity for the young.
They will devour the young of your livestock and the crops of your land until you are destroyed. They will leave you no grain, new wine or olive oil, nor any calves of your herds or lambs of your flocks until you are ruined.
They will lay siege to all the cities throughout your land until the high fortified walls in which you trust fall down. They will besiege all the cities throughout the land the Lord your God is giving you.
Because of the suffering your enemy will inflict on you during the siege, you will eat the fruit of the womb, the flesh of the sons and daughters the Lord your God has given you.
Even the most gentle and sensitive man among you will have no compassion on his own brother or the wife he loves or his surviving children,
and he will not give to one of them any of the flesh of his children that he is eating. It will be all he has left because of the suffering your enemy will inflict on you during the siege of all your cities.
The most gentle and sensitive woman among you-so sensitive and gentle that she would not venture to touch the ground with the sole of her foot-will begrudge the husband she loves and her own son or daughter
the afterbirth from her womb and the children she bears. For in her dire need she intends to eat them secretly because of the suffering your enemy will inflict on you during the siege of your cities.
If you do not carefully follow all the words of this law, which are written in this book, and do not revere this glorious and awesome name-the Lord your God-
the Lord will send fearful plagues on you and your descendants, harsh and prolonged disasters, and severe and lingering illnesses.
He will bring on you all the diseases of Egypt that you dreaded, and they will cling to you.
The Lord will also bring on you every kind of sickness and disaster not recorded in this Book of the Law, until you are destroyed.
You who were as numerous as the stars in the sky will be left but few in number, because you did not obey the Lord your God.
Just as it pleased the Lord to make you prosper and increase in number, so it will please him to ruin and destroy you. You will be uprooted from the land you are entering to possess.
Then the Lord will scatter you among all nations, from one end of the earth to the other. There you will worship other gods-gods of wood and stone, which neither you nor your ancestors have known.
Among those nations you will find no repose, no resting place for the sole of your foot. There the Lord will give you an anxious mind, eyes weary with longing, and a despairing heart.
You will live in constant suspense, filled with dread both night and day, never sure of your life.
In the morning you will say, "If only it were evening!" and in the evening, "If only it were morning!"-because of the terror that will fill your hearts and the sights that your eyes will see.
The Lord will send you back in ships to Egypt on a journey I said you should never make again. There you will offer yourselves for sale to your enemies as male and female slaves, but no one will buy you.
「你若留意聽從耶和華你神的話,謹守遵行他的一切誡命,就是我今日所吩咐你的,他必使你超乎天下萬民之上。
你若聽從耶和華你神的話,這以下的福必追隨你,臨到你身上:

「你若不聽從耶和華你神的話,不謹守遵行他的一切誡命律例,就是我今日所吩咐你的,這以下的咒詛都必追隨你,臨到你身上:
你在城裡必受咒詛,在田間也必受咒詛。
你的筐子和你的摶麵盆都必受咒詛。
你身所生的,地所產的,以及牛犢、羊羔,都必受咒詛。
你出也受咒詛,入也受咒詛。
耶和華因你行惡離棄他,必在你手裡所辦的一切事上,使咒詛、擾亂、責罰臨到你,直到你被毀滅,速速地滅亡。
耶和華必使瘟疫貼在你身上,直到他將你從所進去得為業的地上滅絕。
耶和華要用癆病、熱病、火症、瘧疾、刀劍、旱風(或作:乾旱)、霉爛攻擊你。這都要追趕你,直到你滅亡。
你頭上的天要變為銅,腳下的地要變為鐵。
耶和華要使那降在你地上的雨變為塵沙,從天臨在你身上,直到你滅亡。
「耶和華必使你敗在仇敵面前,你從一條路去攻擊他們,必從七條路逃跑。你必在天下萬國中拋來拋去。
你的屍首必給空中的飛鳥和地上的走獸作食物,並無人鬨趕。
耶和華必用埃及人的瘡並痔瘡、牛皮癬與疥攻擊你,使你不能醫治。

你的兒女必歸與別國的民;你的眼目終日切望,甚至失明,你手中無力拯救。
你的土產和你勞碌得來的,必被你所不認識的國民吃盡。你時常被欺負,受壓制,
甚至你因眼中所看見的,必致瘋狂。
耶和華必攻擊你,使你膝上腿上,從腳掌到頭頂,長毒瘡無法醫治。
「耶和華必將你和你所立的王領到你和你列祖素不認識的國去;在那裡你必事奉木頭石頭的神。
你在耶和華領你到的各國中,要令人驚駭、笑談、譏誚。
你帶到田間的種子雖多,收進來的卻少,因為被蝗蟲吃了。
你栽種、修理葡萄園,卻不得收葡萄,也不得喝葡萄酒,因為被蟲子吃了。
你全境有橄欖樹,卻不得其油抹身,因為樹上的橄欖不熟自落了。
你生兒養女,卻不算是你的,因為必被擄去。
你所有的樹木和你地裡的出產必被蝗蟲所吃。
在你中間寄居的,必漸漸上升,比你高而又高;你必漸漸下降,低而又低。
他必借給你,你卻不能借給他;他必作首,你必作尾。
這一切咒詛必追隨你,趕上你,直到你滅亡;因為你不聽從耶和華你神的話,不遵守他所吩咐的誡命律例。
這些咒詛必在你和你後裔的身上成為異蹟奇事,直到永遠!
「因為你富有的時候,不歡心樂意地事奉耶和華你的神,
所以你必在飢餓、乾渴、赤露、缺乏之中事奉耶和華所打發來攻擊你的仇敵。他必把鐵軛加在你的頸項上,直到將你滅絕。
「耶和華要從遠方、地極帶一國的民,如鷹飛來攻擊你。這民的言語,你不懂得。
這民的面貌兇惡,不顧恤年老的,也不恩待年少的。
他們必吃你牲畜所下的和你地土所產的,直到你滅亡。你的五穀、新酒,和油,以及牛犢、羊羔,都不給你留下,直到將你滅絕。
他們必將你困在你各城裡,直到你所倚靠、高大堅固的城牆都被攻塌。他們必將你困在耶和華你神所賜你遍地的各城裡。
你在仇敵圍困窘迫之中,必吃你本身所生的,就是耶和華你神所賜給你的兒女之肉。
你們中間,柔弱嬌嫩的人必惡眼看他弟兄和他懷中的妻,並他餘剩的兒女;

他兩腿中間出來的嬰孩與他所要生的兒女,他因缺乏一切就要在你受仇敵圍困窘迫的城中將他們暗暗的吃了。
「這書上所寫律法的一切話是叫你敬畏耶和華你神可榮可畏的名。
你若不謹守遵行,耶和華就必將奇災,就是至大至長的災,至重至久的病,加在你和你後裔的身上,
也必使你所懼怕、埃及人的病都臨到你,貼在你身上,
又必將沒有寫在這律法書上的各樣疾病、災殃降在你身上,直到你滅亡。
你們先前雖然像天上的星那樣多,卻因不聽從耶和華你神的話,所剩的人數就稀少了。
先前耶和華怎樣喜悅善待你們,使你們眾多,也要照樣喜悅毀滅你們,使你們滅亡;並且你們從所要進去得的地上必被拔除。
耶和華必使你們分散在萬民中,從地這邊到地那邊,你必在那裡事奉你和你列祖素不認識、木頭石頭的神。
在那些國中,你必不得安逸,也不得落腳之地;耶和華卻使你在那裡心中跳動,眼目失明,精神消耗。
你的性命必懸懸無定;你晝夜恐懼,自料性命難保。
你因心裡所恐懼的,眼中所看見的,早晨必說,巴不得到晚上才好;晚上必說,巴不得到早晨才好。

Jehoshaphat his son succeeded him as king and strengthened himself against Israel.
He stationed troops in all the fortified cities of Judah and put garrisons in Judah and in the towns of Ephraim that his father Asa had captured.
The Lord was with Jehoshaphat because he followed the ways of his father David before him. He did not consult the Baals
but sought the God of his father and followed his commands rather than the practices of Israel.
The Lord established the kingdom under his control; and all Judah brought gifts to Jehoshaphat, so that he had great wealth and honor.
His heart was devoted to the ways of the Lord; furthermore, he removed the high places and the Asherah poles from Judah.
In the third year of his reign he sent his officials Ben-Hail, Obadiah, Zechariah, Nethanel and Micaiah to teach in the towns of Judah.
With them were certain Levites-Shemaiah, Nethaniah, Zebadiah, Asahel, Shemiramoth, Jehonathan, Adonijah, Tobijah and Tob-Adonijah-and the priests Elishama and Jehoram.
They taught throughout Judah, taking with them the Book of the Law of the Lord; they went around to all the towns of Judah and taught the people.
The fear of the Lord fell on all the kingdoms of the lands surrounding Judah, so that they did not go to war against Jehoshaphat.
Some Philistines brought Jehoshaphat gifts and silver as tribute, and the Arabs brought him flocks: seven thousand seven hundred rams and seven thousand seven hundred goats.
Jehoshaphat became more and more powerful; he built forts and store cities in Judah
and had large supplies in the towns of Judah. He also kept experienced fighting men in Jerusalem.
Their enrollment by families was as follows: From Judah, commanders of units of 1,000: Adnah the commander, with 300,000 fighting men;
next, Jehohanan the commander, with 280,000;
next, Amasiah son of Zikri, who volunteered himself for the service of the Lord, with 200,000.
From Benjamin: Eliada, a valiant soldier, with 200,000 men armed with bows and shields;
next, Jehozabad, with 180,000 men armed for battle.
These were the men who served the king, besides those he stationed in the fortified cities throughout Judah.
亞撒的兒子約沙法接續他作王,奮勇自強,防備以色列人,
安置軍兵在猶大一切堅固城裡,又安置防兵在猶大地和他父亞撒所得以法蓮的城邑中。
耶和華與約沙法同在;因為他行他祖大衛初行的道,不尋求巴力,
只尋求他父親的神,遵行他的誡命,不效法以色列人的行為。
所以耶和華堅定他的國,猶大眾人給他進貢;約沙法大有尊榮資財。
他高興遵行耶和華的道,並且從猶大除掉一切邱壇和木偶。
他作王第三年,就差遣臣子便亥伊勒、俄巴底、撒迦利雅、拿坦業、米該亞往猶大各城去教訓百姓。
同著他們有利未人示瑪雅、尼探雅、西巴第雅、亞撒黑、示米拉末、約拿單、亞多尼雅、多比雅、駝巴多尼雅,又有祭司以利沙瑪、約蘭同著他們。
他們帶著耶和華的律法書,走遍猶大各城教訓百姓。
耶和華使猶大四圍的列國都甚恐懼,不敢與約沙法爭戰。
有些非利士人與約沙法送禮物,納貢銀。亞拉伯人也送他公綿羊七千七百隻,公山羊七千七百隻。
約沙法日漸強大,在猶大建造營寨和積貨城。
他在猶大城邑中有許多工程,又在耶路撒冷有戰士,就是大能的勇士。
他們的數目,按著宗族,記在下面:猶大族的,千夫長押拿為首率領大能的勇士三十萬;
其次是,千夫長約哈難率領大能的勇士二十八萬;
其次是,細基利的兒子亞瑪斯雅(他為耶和華犧牲自己)率領大能的勇士二十萬。
便雅憫族,是大能的勇士以利雅大率領,拿弓箭和盾牌的二十萬;
其次是,約薩拔率領預備打仗的十八萬。
這都是伺候王的,還有王在猶大全地堅固城所安置的不在其內。
馬太福音 4:1

Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.
After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry.
The tempter came to him and said, "If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread."
Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.' "
Then the devil took him to the holy city and had him stand on the highest point of the temple.
"If you are the Son of God," he said, "throw yourself down. For it is written: " 'He will command his angels concerning you, and they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.' "
Jesus answered him, "It is also written: 'Do not put the Lord your God to the test.' "
Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor.
"All this I will give you," he said, "if you will bow down and worship me."
Jesus said to him, "Away from me, Satan! For it is written: 'Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.' "
Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended him.
When Jesus heard that John had been put in prison, he withdrew to Galilee.
Leaving Nazareth, he went and lived in Capernaum, which was by the lake in the area of Zebulun and Naphtali-
to fulfill what was said through the prophet Isaiah:
"Land of Zebulun and land of Naphtali, the Way of the Sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles-
the people living in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned."
From that time on Jesus began to preach, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near."
As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen.
"Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will send you out to fish for people."
At once they left their nets and followed him.
Going on from there, he saw two other brothers, James son of Zebedee and his brother John. They were in a boat with their father Zebedee, preparing their nets. Jesus called them,
and immediately they left the boat and their father and followed him.
Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people.
News about him spread all over Syria, and people brought to him all who were ill with various diseases, those suffering severe pain, the demon-possessed, those having seizures, and the paralyzed; and he healed them.
Large crowds from Galilee, the Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea and the region across the Jordan followed him.
當時,耶穌被聖靈引到曠野,受魔鬼的試探。
他禁食四十晝夜,後來就餓了。
那試探人的進前來,對他說:「你若是神的兒子,可以吩咐這些石頭變成食物。」
耶穌卻回答說:「經上記著說:人活著,不是單靠食物,乃是靠神口裡所出的一切話。」
魔鬼就帶他進了聖城,叫他站在殿頂(頂原文作翅)上,
對他說:「你若是神的兒子,可以跳下去,因為經上記著:主要為你吩咐他的使者用手托著你,免得你的腳碰在石頭上。」
耶穌對他說:「經上又記著說:『不可試探主你的神。』」
魔鬼又帶他上了一座最高的山,將世上的萬國與萬國的榮華都指給他看,
對他說:「你若俯伏拜我,我就把這一切都賜給你。」
耶穌說:「撒但(撒但就是抵擋的意思,乃魔鬼的別名),退去吧!因為經上記著說:當拜主你的神,單要事奉他。」
於是,魔鬼離了耶穌,有天使來伺候他。
耶穌聽見約翰下了監,就退到加利利去;
後又離開拿撒勒,往迦百農去,就住在那裡。那地方靠海,在西布倫和拿弗他利的邊界上。
這是要應驗先知以賽亞的話,
說:西布倫地,拿弗他利地,就是沿海的路,約但河外,外邦人的加利利地,
那坐在黑暗裡的百姓看見了大光;坐在死蔭之地的人有光發現照著他們。
從那時候,耶穌就傳起道來,說:「天國近了,你們應當悔改!」
耶穌在加利利海邊行走,看見弟兄二人,就是那稱呼彼得的西門和他兄弟安得烈,在海裡撒網;他們本是打魚的。
耶穌對他們說:「來跟從我,我要叫你們得人如得魚一樣。」
他們就立刻捨了網,跟從了他。
從那裡往前走,又看見弟兄二人,就是西庇太的兒子雅各和他兄弟約翰,同他們的父親西庇太在船上補網,耶穌就招呼他們,
他們立刻捨了船,別了父親,跟從了耶穌。
耶穌走遍加利利,在各會堂裡教訓人,傳天國的福音,醫治百姓各樣的病症。
他的名聲就傳遍了?利亞。那裡的人把一切害病的,就是害各樣疾病、各樣疼痛的和被鬼附的、癲癇的、癱瘓的,都帶了來,耶穌就治好了他們。
當下,有許多人從加利利、低加波利、耶路撒冷、猶太、約但河外來跟著他。
約翰福音 4:23
Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.
時候將到,如今就是了,那真正拜父的,要用心靈和誠實拜他,因為父要這樣的人拜他。」
羅馬書 12:2
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-his good, pleasing and perfect will.
不要效法這個世界,只要心意更新而變化,叫你們察驗何為神的善良、純全、可喜悅的旨意。

"Whoever steals an ox or a sheep and slaughters it or sells it must pay back five head of cattle for the ox and four sheep for the sheep.
"If a thief is caught breaking in at night and is struck a fatal blow, the defender is not guilty of bloodshed;
but if it happens after sunrise, the defender is guilty of bloodshed. "Anyone who steals must certainly make restitution, but if they have nothing, they must be sold to pay for their theft.
If the stolen animal is found alive in their possession-whether ox or donkey or sheep-they must pay back double.
"If anyone grazes their livestock in a field or vineyard and lets them stray and they graze in someone else's field, the offender must make restitution from the best of their own field or vineyard.
"If a fire breaks out and spreads into thornbushes so that it burns shocks of grain or standing grain or the whole field, the one who started the fire must make restitution.
"If anyone gives a neighbor silver or goods for safekeeping and they are stolen from the neighbor's house, the thief, if caught, must pay back double.
But if the thief is not found, the owner of the house must appear before the judges, and they must determine whether the owner of the house has laid hands on the other person's property.
In all cases of illegal possession of an ox, a donkey, a sheep, a garment, or any other lost property about which somebody says, 'This is mine,' both parties are to bring their cases before the judges. The one whom the judges declare guilty must pay back double to the other.
"If anyone gives a donkey, an ox, a sheep or any other animal to their neighbor for safekeeping and it dies or is injured or is taken away while no one is looking,
the issue between them will be settled by the taking of an oath before the Lord that the neighbor did not lay hands on the other person's property. The owner is to accept this, and no restitution is required.
But if the animal was stolen from the neighbor, restitution must be made to the owner.
If it was torn to pieces by a wild animal, the neighbor shall bring in the remains as evidence and shall not be required to pay for the torn animal.
"If anyone borrows an animal from their neighbor and it is injured or dies while the owner is not present, they must make restitution.
But if the owner is with the animal, the borrower will not have to pay. If the animal was hired, the money paid for the hire covers the loss.
"If a man seduces a virgin who is not pledged to be married and sleeps with her, he must pay the bride-price, and she shall be his wife.
If her father absolutely refuses to give her to him, he must still pay the bride-price for virgins.
"Do not allow a sorceress to live.
"Anyone who has sexual relations with an animal is to be put to death.
"Whoever sacrifices to any god other than the Lord must be destroyed.
"Do not mistreat or oppress a foreigner, for you were foreigners in Egypt.
"Do not take advantage of the widow or the fatherless.
If you do and they cry out to me, I will certainly hear their cry.
My anger will be aroused, and I will kill you with the sword; your wives will become widows and your children fatherless.
"If you lend money to one of my people among you who is needy, do not treat it like a business deal; charge no interest.
If you take your neighbor's cloak as a pledge, return it by sunset,
because that cloak is the only covering your neighbor has. What else can they sleep in? When they cry out to me, I will hear, for I am compassionate.
"Do not blaspheme God or curse the ruler of your people.
"Do not hold back offerings from your granaries or your vats. "You must give me the firstborn of your sons.
Do the same with your cattle and your sheep. Let them stay with their mothers for seven days, but give them to me on the eighth day.
"You are to be my holy people. So do not eat the meat of an animal torn by wild beasts; throw it to the dogs.
「人若偷牛或羊,無論是宰了,是賣了,他就要以五牛賠一牛,四羊賠一羊。
人若遇見賊挖窟窿,把賊打了,以至於死,就不能為他有流血的罪。
若太陽已經出來,就為他有流血的罪。賊若被拿,總要賠還。若他一無所有,就要被賣,頂他所偷的物。
若他所偷的,或牛,或驢,或羊,仍在他手下存活,他就要加倍賠還。
「人若在田間或在葡萄園裡放牲畜,任憑牲畜上別人的田裡去吃,就必拿自己田間上好的和葡萄園上好的賠還。
「若點火焚燒荊棘,以致將別人堆積的禾捆,站著的禾稼,或是田園,都燒盡了,那點火的必要賠還。
「人若將銀錢或家具交付鄰舍看守,這物從那人的家被偷去,若把賊找到了,賊要加倍賠還;
若找不到賊,那家主必就近審判官,要看看他拿了原主的物件沒有。
「兩個人的案件,無論是為什麼過犯,或是為牛,為驢,為羊,為衣裳,或是為什麼失掉之物,有一人說:『這是我的』,兩造就要將案件稟告審判官,審判官定誰有罪,誰就要加倍賠還。
「人若將驢,或牛,或羊,或別的牲畜,交付鄰舍看守,牲畜或死,或受傷,或被趕去,無人看見,
那看守的人要憑著耶和華起誓,手裡未曾拿鄰舍的物,本主就要罷休,看守的人不必賠還。
牲畜若從看守的那裡被偷去,他就要賠還本主;
若被野獸撕碎,看守的要帶來當作證據,所撕的不必賠還。
「人若向鄰舍借什麼,所借的或受傷,或死,本主沒有同在一處,借的人總要賠還;
若本主同在一處,他就不必賠還;若是雇的,也不必賠還,本是為雇價來的。」
「人若引誘沒有受聘的處女,與他行淫,他總要交出聘禮,娶他為妻。
若女子的父親決不肯將女子給他,他就要按處女的聘禮,交出錢來。
「行邪術的女人,不可容他存活。
「凡與獸淫合的,總要把他治死。
「祭祀別神,不單單祭祀耶和華的,那人必要滅絕。
「不可虧負寄居的,也不可欺壓他,因為你們在埃及地也作過寄居的。
不可苦待寡婦和孤兒;
若是苦待他們一點,他們向我一哀求,我總要聽他們的哀聲,
並要發烈怒,用刀殺你們,使你們的妻子為寡婦,兒女為孤兒。
「我民中有貧窮人與你同住,你若借錢給他,不可如放債的向他取利。
你即或拿鄰舍的衣服作當頭,必在日落以先歸還他;
因他只有這一件當蓋頭,是他蓋身的衣服,若是沒有,他拿什麼睡覺呢?他哀求我,我就應允,因為我是有恩惠的。
「不可毀謗神;也不可毀謗你百姓的官長。
「你要從你莊稼中的穀和酒醡中滴出來的酒拿來獻上,不可遲延。「你要將頭生的兒子歸給我。
你牛羊頭生的,也要這樣;七天當跟著母,第八天要歸給我。
「你要在我面前為聖潔的人。因此,田間被野獸撕裂牲畜的肉,你們不可吃,要丟給狗吃。」
詩篇 46:1
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.

Now when Jesus saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him,
and he began to teach them. He said:
"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.
Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.
Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
"Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.
Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
"You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.
"You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.
Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.
In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.
For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.
Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.
"You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, 'You shall not murder, ote style="f" caller="+"> 5:21 Exodus 20:13 and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.'
But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister 5:22Some manuscripts brother or sister without cause will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister, 'Raca,'5:22An Aramaic term of contempt is answerable to the court. And anyone who says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell.
"Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you,
leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift.
"Settle matters quickly with your adversary who is taking you to court. Do it while you are still together on the way, or your adversary may hand you over to the judge, and the judge may hand you over to the officer, and you may be thrown into prison.
Truly I tell you, you will not get out until you have paid the last penny.
"You have heard that it was said, 'You shall not commit adultery.' ote style="f" caller="+"> 5:27 Exodus 20:14
But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
If your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.
And if your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell.
"It has been said, 'Anyone who divorces his wife must give her a certificate of divorce.' ote style="f" caller="+"> 5:31 Deut. 24:1
But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, makes her the victim of adultery, and anyone who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.
"Again, you have heard that it was said to the people long ago, 'Do not break your oath, but fulfill to the Lord the vows you have made.'
But I tell you, do not swear an oath at all: either by heaven, for it is God's throne;
or by the earth, for it is his footstool; or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the Great King.
And do not swear by your head, for you cannot make even one hair white or black.
All you need to say is simply 'Yes' or 'No'; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.
"You have heard that it was said, 'Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.' ote style="f" caller="+"> 5:38 Exodus 21:24; Lev. 24:20; Deut. 19:21
But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also.
And if anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, hand over your coat as well.
If anyone forces you to go one mile, go with them two miles.
Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you.
"You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor ote style="f" caller="+"> 5:43 Lev. 19:18 and hate your enemy.'
But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,
that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.
If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that?
And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that?
Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
耶穌看見這許多的人,就上了山,既已坐下,門徒到他跟前來,
他就開口教訓他們,說:
虛心的人有福了!因為天國是他們的。
哀慟的人有福了!因為他們必得安慰。
溫柔的人有福了!因為他們必承受地土。
飢渴慕義的人有福了!因為他們必得飽足。
憐恤人的人有福了!因為他們必蒙憐恤。
清心的人有福了!因為他們必得見神。
使人和睦的人有福了!因為他們必稱為神的兒子。
為義受逼迫的人有福了!因為天國是他們的。
「人若因我辱罵你們,逼迫你們,捏造各樣壞話毀謗你們,你們就有福了!
應當歡喜快樂,因為你們在天上的賞賜是大的。在你們以前的先知,人也是這樣逼迫他們。」
「你們是世上的鹽。鹽若失了味,怎能叫他再鹹呢?以後無用,不過丟在外面,被人踐踏了。
你們是世上的光。城造在山上是不能隱藏的。
人點燈,不放在斗底下,是放在燈臺上,就照亮一家的人。
你們的光也當這樣照在人前,叫他們看見你們的好行為,便將榮耀歸給你們在天上的父。」
「莫想我來要廢掉律法和先知。我來不是要廢掉,乃是要成全。
我實在告訴你們,就是到天地都廢去了,律法的一點一畫也不能廢去,都要成全。
所以,無論何人廢掉這誡命中最小的一條,又教訓人這樣做,他在天國要稱為最小的。但無論何人遵行這誡命,又教訓人遵行,他在天國要稱為大的。
我告訴你們,你們的義若不勝於文士和法利賽人的義,斷不能進天國。」
「你們聽見有吩咐古人的話,說:『不可殺人』;又說:『凡殺人的難免受審判。』
只是我告訴你們:凡(有古卷在凡字下加:無緣無故地)向弟兄動怒的,難免受審判;凡罵弟兄是拉加的,難免公會的審斷;凡罵弟兄是魔利的,難免地獄的火。
所以,你在祭壇上獻禮物的時候,若想起弟兄向你懷怨,
就把禮物留在壇前,先去同弟兄和好,然後來獻禮物。
你同告你的對頭還在路上,就趕緊與他和息,恐怕他把你送給審判官,審判官交付衙役,你就下在監裡了。
我實在告訴你,若有一文錢沒有還清,你斷不能從那裡出來。」
「你們聽見有話說:『不可姦淫。』
只是我告訴你們,凡看見婦女就動淫念的,這人心裡已經與他犯姦淫了。
若是你的右眼叫你跌倒,就剜出來丟掉,寧可失去百體中的一體,不叫全身丟在地獄裡。
若是右手叫你跌倒,就砍下來丟掉,寧可失去百體中的一體,不叫全身下入地獄。」
「又有話說:『人若休妻,就當給他休書。』
只是我告訴你們,凡休妻的,若不是為淫亂的緣故,就是叫他作淫婦了;人若娶這被休的婦人,也是犯姦淫了。」
「你們又聽見有吩咐古人的話,說:『不可背誓,所起的誓總要向主謹守。』
只是我告訴你們,什麼誓都不可起。不可指著天起誓,因為天是神的座位;
不可指著地起誓,因為地是他的腳凳;也不可指著耶路撒冷起誓,因為耶路撒冷是大君的京城;
又不可指著你的頭起誓,因為你不能使一根頭髮變黑變白了。
你們的話,是,就說是;不是,就說不是;若再多說,就是出於那惡者(或作就是從惡裡出來的)。」
「你們聽見有話說:『以眼還眼,以牙還牙。』
只是我告訴你們,不要與惡人作對。有人打你的右臉,連左臉也轉過來由他打;
有人想要告你,要拿你的裡衣,連外衣也由他拿去;
有人強逼你走一里路,你就同他走二里;
有求你的,就給他;有向你借貸的,不可推辭。」
「你們聽見有話說:『當愛你的鄰舍,恨你的仇敵。』
只是我告訴你們,要愛你們的仇敵,為那逼迫你們的禱告。

親愛的弟兄,不要自己伸冤,寧可讓步,聽憑主怒(或作:讓人發怒);因為經上記著:「主說:『伸冤在我;我必報應。』」
羅馬書 13:4
For the one in authority is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God's servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer.
因為他是神的用人,是與你有益的。你若作惡,卻當懼怕;因為他不是空空的佩劍,他是神的用人,是伸冤的,刑罰那作惡的。

你們所遇見的試探,無非是人所能受的。神是信實的,必不叫你們受試探過於所能受的;在受試探的時候,總要給你們開一條出路,叫你們能忍受得住。

人若不看顧親屬,就是背了真道,比不信的人還不好,不看顧自己家裡的人,更是如此。
