申命記 4:16
so that you do not become corrupt and make for yourselves an idol, an image of any shape, whether formed like a man or a woman,

出埃及記 20:23

何西阿書 3:4
For the Israelites will live many days without king or prince, without sacrifice or sacred stones, without ephod or household gods.
以色列人也必多日獨居，無君王，無首領，無祭祀，無柱像，無以弗得，無家中的神像。
士師記 18:17
The five men who had spied out the land went inside and took the idol, the ephod and the household gods while the priest and the six hundred armed men stood at the entrance of the gate.
窺探地的五個人走進去，將雕刻的像、以弗得、家中的神像，並鑄成的像，都拿了去。祭司和帶兵器的六百人，一同站在門口。
以賽亞書 40:19
As for an idol, a metalworker casts it, and a goldsmith overlays it with gold and fashions silver chains for it.
偶像是匠人鑄造，銀匠用金包裹，為他鑄造銀鍊。
以西結書 13:18
and say, 'This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Woe to the women who sew magic charms on all their wrists and make veils of various lengths for their heads in order to ensnare people. Will you ensnare the lives of my people but preserve your own?
說主耶和華如此說：『這些婦女有禍了！他們為眾人的膀臂縫靠枕，給高矮之人做下垂的頭巾，為要獵取人的性命。難道你們要獵取我百姓的性命，為利己將人救活嗎？
創世記 31:32
But if you find anyone who has your gods, that person shall not live. In the presence of our relatives, see for yourself whether there is anything of yours here with me; and if so, take it." Now Jacob did not know that Rachel had stolen the gods.
至於你的神像，你在誰那裡搜出來，就不容誰存活。當著我們的眾弟兄，你認一認，在我這裡有什麼東西是你的，就拿去。」原來雅各不知道拉結偷了那些神像。
出埃及記 23:24
Do not bow down before their gods or worship them or follow their practices. You must demolish them and break their sacred stones to pieces.
你不可跪拜他們的神，不可事奉他，也不可效法他們的行為，卻要把神像盡行拆毀，打碎他們的柱像。
出埃及記 34:17
"Do not make any idols.
「不可為自己鑄造神像。
利未記 26:1
" 'Do not make idols or set up an image or a sacred stone for yourselves, and do not place a carved stone in your land to bow down before it. I am the Lord your God.
「你們不可做什麼虛無的神像，不可立雕刻的偶像或是柱像，也不可在你們的地上安什麼鏨成的石像，向他跪拜，因為我是耶和華你們的神。
申命記 5:8
"You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.
「『不可為自己雕刻偶像，也不可做什麼形像，彷彿上天、下地和地底下、水中的百物。
申命記 7:25
The images of their gods you are to burn in the fire. Do not covet the silver and gold on them, and do not take it for yourselves, or you will be ensnared by it, for it is detestable to the Lord your God.
他們雕刻的神像，你們要用火焚燒；其上的金銀，你不可貪圖，也不可收取，免得你因此陷入網羅；這原是耶和華你神所憎惡的。
