"Say to Daughter Zion, 'See, your king comes to you, gentle and riding on a donkey, and on a colt, the foal of a donkey.' "

The Lord loves the gates of Zion more than all the other dwellings of Jacob.

Those the Lord has rescued will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.

From Zion, perfect in beauty, God shines forth.
Our God comes and will not be silent; a fire devours before him, and around him a tempest rages.

By the rivers of Babylon we sat and wept when we remembered Zion.
There on the poplars we hung our harps,
for there our captors asked us for songs, our tormentors demanded songs of joy; they said, "Sing us one of the songs of Zion!"
How can we sing the songs of the Lord while in a foreign land?
If I forget you, Jerusalem, may my right hand forget its skill.
May my tongue cling to the roof of my mouth if I do not remember you, if I do not consider Jerusalem my highest joy.
Remember, Lord, what the Edomites did on the day Jerusalem fell. "Tear it down," they cried, "tear it down to its foundations!"
Daughter Babylon, doomed to destruction, happy is the one who repays you according to what you have done to us.
Happy is the one who seizes your infants and dashes them against the rocks.
我們曾在巴比倫的河邊坐下，一追想錫安就哭了。
我們把琴掛在那裡的柳樹上；
因為在那裡，擄掠我們的要我們唱歌，搶奪我們的要我們作樂，說：給我們唱一首錫安歌吧！

以賽亞書 35:10
and those the Lord has rescued will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.

聽禱告的主啊，凡有血氣的都要來就你。

but he chose the tribe of Judah, Mount Zion, which he loved.
He built his sanctuary like the heights, like the earth that he established forever.
He chose David his servant and took him from the sheep pens;
from tending the sheep he brought him to be the shepherd of his people Jacob, of Israel his inheritance.
And David shepherded them with integrity of heart; with skillful hands he led them.
卻揀選猶大支派他所喜愛的錫安山；
蓋造他的聖所，好像高峰，又像他建立永存之地；
又揀選他的僕人大衛，從羊圈中將他召來，
叫他不再跟從那些帶奶的母羊，為要牧養自己的百姓雅各和自己的產業以色列。

The Lord will surely comfort Zion and will look with compassion on all her ruins; he will make her deserts like Eden, her wastelands like the garden of the Lord. Joy and gladness will be found in her, thanksgiving and the sound of singing.
耶和華已經安慰錫安和錫安一切的荒場，使曠野像伊甸，使沙漠像耶和華的園囿；在其中必有歡喜、快樂、感謝，和歌唱的聲音。
以賽亞書 52:1
Awake, awake, Zion, clothe yourself with strength! Put on your garments of splendor, Jerusalem, the holy city. The uncircumcised and defiled will not enter you again.
錫安哪，興起！興起！披上你的能力！聖城耶路撒冷啊，穿上你華美的衣服！因為從今以後，未受割禮、不潔淨的必不再進入你中間。

For Zion's sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem's sake I will not remain quiet, till her vindication shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch.

Look on Zion, the city of our festivals; your eyes will see Jerusalem, a peaceful abode, a tent that will not be moved; its stakes will never be pulled up, nor any of its ropes broken.
你要看錫安我們守聖節的城！你的眼必見耶路撒冷為安靜的居所，為不挪移的帳幕，橛子永不拔出，繩索一根也不折斷。

Then will the lame leap like a deer, and the mute tongue shout for joy. Water will gush forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert.
The burning sand will become a pool, the thirsty ground bubbling springs. In the haunts where jackals once lay, grass and reeds and papyrus will grow.
And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness; it will be for those who walk on that Way. The unclean will not journey on it; wicked fools will not go about on it.
No lion will be there, nor any ravenous beast; they will not be found there. But only the redeemed will walk there,
and those the Lord has rescued will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.
那時，瘸子必跳躍像鹿；啞巴的舌頭必能歌唱。在曠野必有水發出；在沙漠必有河湧流。
發光的沙（或作：蜃樓）要變為水池；乾渴之地要變為泉源。在野狗躺臥之處，必有青草、蘆葦，和蒲草。
在那裡必有一條大道，稱為聖路。污穢人不得經過，必專為贖民行走；行路的人雖愚昧，也不至失迷。
在那裡必沒有獅子，猛獸也不登這路；在那裡都遇不見，只有贖民在那裡行走。
並且耶和華救贖的民必歸回，歌唱來到錫安；永樂必歸到他們的頭上；他們必得著歡喜快樂，憂愁歎息盡都逃避。
以賽亞書 52:7
How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, "Your God reigns!"
那報佳音，傳平安，報好信，傳救恩的，對錫安說：你的神作王了！這人的腳登山何等佳美！
以賽亞書 52:2
Shake off your dust; rise up, sit enthroned, Jerusalem. Free yourself from the chains on your neck, Daughter Zion, now a captive.
耶路撒冷啊，要抖下塵土！起來坐在位上！錫安被擄的居民（原文作女子）哪，要解開你頸項的鎖鍊！
詩篇 74:2
Remember the nation you purchased long ago, the people of your inheritance, whom you redeemed- Mount Zion, where you dwelt.
求你記念你古時所得來的會眾，就是你所贖作你產業支派的，並記念你向來所居住的錫安山。
詩篇 133:3
It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. For there the Lord bestows his blessing, even life forevermore.
又好比黑門的甘露降在錫安山；因為在那裡有耶和華所命定的福，就是永遠的生命。
以賽亞書 2:2

In the last days the mountain of the Lord's temple will be established as the highest of the mountains; it will be exalted above the hills, and all nations will stream to it.
Many peoples will come and say, "Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the temple of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths." The law will go out from Zion, the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore.
Come, descendants of Jacob, let us walk in the light of the Lord.
You, Lord, have abandoned your people, the descendants of Jacob. They are full of superstitions from the East; they practice divination like the Philistines and embrace pagan customs.
末後的日子，耶和華殿的山必堅立，超乎諸山，高舉過於萬嶺；萬民都要流歸這山。
必有許多國的民前往，說：來吧，我們登耶和華的山，奔雅各神的殿。主必將他的道教訓我們；我們也要行他的路。因為訓誨必出於錫安；耶和華的言語必出於耶路撒冷。
他必在列國中施行審判，為許多國民斷定是非。他們要將刀打成犁頭，把槍打成鐮刀。這國不舉刀攻擊那國；他們也不再學習戰事。
雅各家啊，來吧！我們在耶和華的光明中行走。
耶和華，你離棄了你百姓雅各家，是因他們充滿了東方的風俗，作觀兆的，像非利士人一樣，並與外邦人擊掌。
以賽亞書 40:9
You who bring good news to Zion, go up on a high mountain. You who bring good news to Jerusalem, lift up your voice with a shout, lift it up, do not be afraid; say to the towns of Judah, "Here is your God!"
報好信息給錫安的啊，你要登高山；報好信息給耶路撒冷的啊，你要極力揚聲。揚聲不要懼怕，對猶大的城邑說：看哪，你們的神！
以賽亞書 60:14
The children of your oppressors will come bowing before you; all who despise you will bow down at your feet and will call you the City of the Lord, Zion of the Holy One of Israel.
素來苦待你的，他的子孫都必屈身來就你；藐視你的，都要在你腳下跪拜。他們要稱你為「耶和華的城」，為「以色列聖者的錫安」。
以賽亞書 62:11
The Lord has made proclamation to the ends of the earth: "Say to Daughter Zion, 'See, your Savior comes! See, his reward is with him, and his recompense accompanies him.' "
看哪，耶和華曾宣告到地極，對錫安的居民（原文作女子）說：你的拯救者來到。他的賞賜在他那裡；他的報應在他面前。
撒迦利亞書 8:3
This is what the Lord says: "I will return to Zion and dwell in Jerusalem. Then Jerusalem will be called the Faithful City, and the mountain of the Lord Almighty will be called the Holy Mountain."
耶和華如此說：我現在回到錫安，要住在耶路撒冷中。耶路撒冷必稱為誠實的城，萬軍之耶和華的山必稱為聖山。
羅馬書 9:33
As it is written: "See, I lay in Zion a stone that causes people to stumble and a rock that makes them fall, and the one who believes in him will never be put to shame."
就如經上所記：我在錫安放一塊絆腳的石頭，跌人的磐石；信靠他的人必不至於羞愧。
羅馬書 11:26
and in this way all Israel will be saved. As it is written: "The deliverer will come from Zion; he will turn godlessness away from Jacob.
於是以色列全家都要得救。如經上所記：必有一位救主從錫安出來，要消除雅各家的一切罪惡；
詩篇 48:11
Mount Zion rejoices, the villages of Judah are glad because of your judgments.

Praise awaits you, our God, in Zion; to you our vows will be fulfilled.

詩篇 87:5
Indeed, of Zion it will be said, "This one and that one were born in her, and the Most High himself will establish her."
論到錫安，必說：這一個、那一個都生在其中，而且至高者必親自堅立這城。
以賽亞書 33:14
The sinners in Zion are terrified; trembling grips the godless: "Who of us can dwell with the consuming fire? Who of us can dwell with everlasting burning?"
錫安中的罪人都懼怕；不敬虔的人被戰兢抓住。我們中間誰能與吞滅的火同住？我們中間誰能與永火同住呢？
以賽亞書 51:16
I have put my words in your mouth and covered you with the shadow of my hand- I who set the heavens in place, who laid the foundations of the earth, and who say to Zion, 'You are my people.' "

Listen! Your watchmen lift up their voices; together they shout for joy. When the Lord returns to Zion, they will see it with their own eyes.

俄巴底亞書 1:17

But on Mount Zion will be deliverance; it will be holy, and Jacob will possess his inheritance.
Jacob will be a fire and Joseph a flame; Esau will be stubble, and they will set him on fire and destroy him. There will be no survivors from Esau." The Lord has spoken.
People from the Negev will occupy the mountains of Esau, and people from the foothills will possess the land of the Philistines. They will occupy the fields of Ephraim and Samaria, and Benjamin will possess Gilead.
This company of Israelite exiles who are in Canaan will possess the land as far as Zarephath; the exiles from Jerusalem who are in Sepharad will possess the towns of the Negev.
Deliverers will go up on Mount Zion to govern the mountains of Esau. And the kingdom will be the Lord's.
在錫安山必有逃脫的人，那山也必成聖；雅各家必得原有的產業。
雅各家必成為大火；約瑟家必為火焰；以掃家必如碎稓；火必將他燒著吞滅。以掃家必無餘剩的。這是耶和華說的。
南地的人必得以掃山；高原的人必得非利士地，也得以法蓮地和撒瑪利亞地；便雅憫人必得基列。
在迦南人中被擄的以色列眾人必得地直到撒勒法；在西法拉中被擄的耶路撒冷人必得南地的城邑。
必有拯救者上到錫安山，審判以掃山；國度就歸耶和華了。
撒迦利亞書 8:2
This is what the Lord Almighty says: "I am very jealous for Zion; I am burning with jealousy for her."
「萬軍之耶和華如此說：我為錫安心裡極其火熱，我為他火熱，向他的仇敵發烈怒。

The kings of the earth rise up and the rulers band together against the Lord and against his anointed, saying,
"Let us break their chains and throw off their shackles."
The One enthroned in heaven laughs; the Lord scoffs at them.
He rebukes them in his anger and terrifies them in his wrath, saying,
"I have installed my king on Zion, my holy mountain."
世上的君王一齊起來，臣宰一同商議，要敵擋耶和華並他的受膏者，
說：我們要掙開他們的捆綁，脫去他們的繩索。
那坐在天上的必發笑；主必嗤笑他們。
那時，他要在怒中責備他們，在烈怒中驚嚇他們，

Sing the praises of the Lord, enthroned in Zion; proclaim among the nations what he has done.

Let Israel rejoice in their Maker; let the people of Zion be glad in their King.
願以色列因造他的主歡喜！願錫安的民因他們的王快樂！
西番雅書 3:14
Sing, Daughter Zion; shout aloud, Israel! Be glad and rejoice with all your heart, Daughter Jerusalem!
錫安的民哪，應當歌唱！以色列啊，應當歡呼！耶路撒冷的民哪，應當滿心歡喜快樂！
歷代志上 11:5

said to David, "You will not get in here." Nevertheless, David captured the fortress of Zion-which is the City of David.
David had said, "Whoever leads the attack on the Jebusites will become commander-in-chief." Joab son of Zeruiah went up first, and so he received the command.
David then took up residence in the fortress, and so it was called the City of David.
耶布斯人對大衛說：「你決不能進這地方。」然而大衛攻取錫安的保障，就是大衛的城。
大衛說：「誰先攻打耶布斯人，必作首領元帥。」洗魯雅的兒子約押先上去，就作了元帥。
大衛住在保障裡，所以那保障叫作大衛城。
詩篇 68:32
Sing to God, you kingdoms of the earth, sing praise to the Lord,
世上的列國啊，你們要向神歌唱；願你們歌頌主！
