He said to them, "But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don't have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one.

Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels?
But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen in this way?"
耶穌對他說：「收刀入鞘吧！凡動刀的，必死在刀下。
你想，我不能求我父現在為我差遣十二營多天使來嗎？
若是這樣，經上所說，事情必須如此的話怎麼應驗呢？」
以賽亞書 54:17
no weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from me," declares the Lord.
凡為攻擊你造成的器械必不利用；凡在審判時興起用舌攻擊你的，你必定他為有罪。這是耶和華僕人的產業，是他們從我所得的義。這是耶和華說的。
