詩篇 4:4
Tremble and do not sin; when you are on your beds, search your hearts and be silent.
你們應當畏懼，不可犯罪；在床上的時候，要心裡思想，並要肅靜。（細拉）
使徒行傳 8:21

You have no part or share in this ministry, because your heart is not right before God.
Repent of this wickedness and pray to the Lord in the hope that he may forgive you for having such a thought in your heart.
你在這道上無分無關；因為在神面前，你的心不正。
你當懊悔你這罪惡，祈求主，或者你心裡的意念可得赦免。
創世記 8:21
The Lord smelled the pleasing aroma and said in his heart: "Never again will I curse the ground because of humans, even though every inclination of the human heart is evil from childhood. And never again will I destroy all living creatures, as I have done.
耶和華聞那馨香之氣，就心裡說：「我不再因人的緣故咒詛地（人從小時心裡懷著惡念），也不再按著我才行的滅各種的活物了。
詩篇 94:11
The Lord knows all human plans; he knows that they are futile.
耶和華知道人的意念是虛妄的。
詩篇 139:23

Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
神啊，求你鑒察我，知道我的心思，試煉我，知道我的意念，
看在我裡面有什麼惡行沒有，引導我走永生的道路。
創世記 6:5

The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time.
The Lord regretted that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled.
So the Lord said, "I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created-and with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the ground-for I regret that I have made them."
耶和華見人在地上罪惡很大，終日所思想的盡都是惡，
耶和華就後悔造人在地上，心中憂傷。
耶和華說：「我要將所造的人和走獸，並昆蟲，以及空中的飛鳥，都從地上除滅，因為我造他們後悔了。」
以賽亞書 55:7
Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.
惡人當離棄自己的道路；不義的人當除掉自己的意念。歸向耶和華，耶和華就必憐恤他；當歸向我們的神，因為神必廣行赦免。
耶利米書 6:19
Hear, you earth: I am bringing disaster on this people, the fruit of their schemes, because they have not listened to my words and have rejected my law.
地啊，當聽！我必使災禍臨到這百姓，就是他們意念所結的果子；因為他們不聽從我的言語，至於我的訓誨（或作：律法），他們也厭棄了。
