路加福音 4:38 - 39 Jesus left the synagogue and went to the home of Simon. Now Simon's mother-in-law was suffering from a high fever, and they asked Jesus to help her. So he bent over her and rebuked the fever, and it left her. She got up at once and began to wait on them.
耶穌出了會堂，進了西門的家。西門的岳母害熱病甚重，有人為他求耶穌。耶穌站在他旁邊，斥責那熱病，熱就退了。他立刻起來服事他們。

申命記 28:22 The Lord will strike you with wasting disease, with fever and inflammation, with scorching heat and drought, with blight and mildew, which will plague you until you perish.
耶和華要用癆病、熱病、火症、瘧疾、刀劍、旱風（或作：乾旱）、霉爛攻擊你。這都要追趕你，直到你滅亡。
