羅馬書 15:3 For even Christ did not please himself but, as it is written: "The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me."
因為基督也不求自己的喜悅，如經上所記：「辱罵你人的辱罵都落在我身上。」

馬太福音 11:29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

他並沒有犯罪，口裡也沒有詭詐。他被罵不還口；受害不說威嚇的話，只將自己交託那按公義審判人的主。

約翰福音 13:4 - 5 so he got up from the meal, took off his outer clothing, and wrapped a towel around his waist. After that, he poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples' feet, drying them with the towel that was wrapped around him.
就離席站起來，脫了衣服，拿一條手巾束腰，隨後把水倒在盆裡，就洗門徒的腳，並用自己所束的手巾擦乾。

因我活著就是基督，我死了就有益處。
