箴言 12:19 Truthful lips endure forever, but a lying tongue lasts only a moment.
口吐真言，永遠堅立；舌說謊話，只存片時。

詩篇 120:2 - 4 Save me, Lord, from lying lips and from deceitful tongues. What will he do to you, and what more besides, you deceitful tongue? He will punish you with a warrior's sharp arrows, with burning coals of the broom bush.

箴言 6:16 - 19 There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.
耶和華所恨惡的有六樣，連他心所憎惡的共有七樣：就是高傲的眼，撒謊的舌，流無辜人血的手，圖謀惡計的心，飛跑行惡的腳，吐謊言的假見證，並弟兄中布散分爭的人。
