耶利米書 2:19
Your wickedness will punish you; your backsliding will rebuke you. Consider then and realize how evil and bitter it is for you when you forsake the Lord your God and have no awe of me," declares the Lord, the Lord Almighty.
你自己的惡必懲治你；你背道的事必責備你。由此可知可見，你離棄耶和華你的神，不存敬畏我的心，乃為惡事，為苦事•這是主萬軍之耶和華說的。
耶利米書 17:13
Lord, you are the hope of Israel; all who forsake you will be put to shame. Those who turn away from you will be written in the dust because they have forsaken the Lord, the spring of living water.
耶和華以色列的盼望啊，凡離棄你的必致蒙羞。耶和華說：離開我的，他們的名字必寫在土裡，因為他們離棄我這活水的泉源。
以賽亞書 1:2
Hear me, you heavens! Listen, earth! For the Lord has spoken: "I reared children and brought them up, but they have rebelled against me.
天哪，要聽！地啊，側耳而聽！因為耶和華說：我養育兒女，將他們養大，他們竟悖逆我。

The ox knows its master, the donkey its owner's manger, but Israel does not know, my people do not understand."
Woe to the sinful nation, a people whose guilt is great, a brood of evildoers, children given to corruption! They have forsaken the Lord; they have spurned the Holy One of Israel and turned their backs on him.
Why should you be beaten anymore? Why do you persist in rebellion? Your whole head is injured, your whole heart afflicted.
From the sole of your foot to the top of your head there is no soundness- only wounds and welts and open sores, not cleansed or bandaged or soothed with olive oil.
牛認識主人，驢認識主人的槽，以色列卻不認識；我的民卻不留意。
嗐！犯罪的國民，擔著罪孽的百姓；行惡的種類，敗壞的兒女！他們離棄耶和華，藐視以色列的聖者，與他生疏，往後退步。
你們為什麼屢次悖逆，還要受責打嗎？你們已經滿頭疼痛，全心發昏。
從腳掌到頭頂，沒有一處完全的，盡是傷口、青腫，與新打的傷痕，都沒有收口，沒有纏裹，也沒有用膏滋潤。
耶利米書 2:13
"My people have committed two sins: They have forsaken me, the spring of living water, and have dug their own cisterns, broken cisterns that cannot hold water.
因為我的百姓做了兩件惡事，就是離棄我這活水的泉源，為自己鑿出池子，是破裂不能存水的池子。
