羅馬書 12:19 Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord.
親愛的弟兄,不要自己伸冤,寧可讓步,聽憑主怒(或作:讓人發怒);因為經上記著:「主說:『伸冤在我;我必報應。』」
羅馬書 12:17 - 21 Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord. On the contrary: "If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head." Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
不要以惡報惡;眾人以為美的事要留心去做。 若是能行,總要盡力與眾人和睦。 親愛的弟兄,不要自己伸冤,寧可讓步,聽憑主怒(或作:讓人發怒);因為經上記著:「主說:『伸冤在我;我必報應。』」 所以,「你的仇敵若餓了,就給他吃,若渴了,就給他喝;因為你這樣行就是把炭火堆在他的頭上。」 你不可為惡所勝,反要以善勝惡。
彼得前書 3:9 Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.
不以惡報惡,以辱罵還辱罵,倒要祝福;因你們是為此蒙召,好叫你們承受福氣。

箴言 24:29 Do not say, "I'll do to them as they have done to me; I'll pay them back for what they did."
不可說:人怎樣待我,我也怎樣待他;我必照他所行的報復他。
利未記 19:18 " 'Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against anyone among your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord.
不可報仇,也不可埋怨你本國的子民,卻要愛人如己。我是耶和華。
帖撒羅尼迦前書 5:15 Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else.
你們要謹慎,無論是誰都不可以惡報惡;或是彼此相待,或是待眾人,常要追求良善。
箴言 25:26 Like a muddied spring or a polluted well are the righteous who give way to the wicked.
義人在惡人面前退縮,好像逿渾之泉,弄濁之井。
馬太福音 26:52 - 54 "Put your sword back in its place," Jesus said to him, "for all who draw the sword will die by the sword. Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels? But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen in this way?"
耶穌對他說:「收刀入鞘吧!凡動刀的,必死在刀下。 你想,我不能求我父現在為我差遣十二營多天使來嗎? 若是這樣,經上所說,事情必須如此的話怎麼應驗呢?」
羅馬書 12:18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.
若是能行,總要盡力與眾人和睦。
出埃及記 21:24 - 25 eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, burn for burn, wound for wound, bruise for bruise.
以眼還眼,以牙還牙,以手還手,以腳還腳, 以烙還烙,以傷還傷,以打還打。
馬太福音 5:7 Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.
憐恤人的人有福了!因為他們必蒙憐恤。

馬可福音 11:25 And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins. "
你們站著禱告的時候,若想起有人得罪你們,就當饒恕他,好叫你們在天上的父也饒恕你們的過犯。
羅馬書 13:4 For the one in authority is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God's servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer.
因為他是神的用人,是與你有益的。你若作惡,卻當懼怕;因為他不是空空的佩劍,他是神的用人,是伸冤的,刑罰那作惡的。
士師記 16:28 - 30 Then Samson prayed to the Lord, "Sovereign Lord, remember me. Please, God, strengthen me just once more, and let me with one blow get revenge on the Philistines for my two eyes." Then Samson reached toward the two central pillars on which the temple stood. Bracing himself against them, his right hand on the one and his left hand on the other, Samson said, "Let me die with the Philistines!" Then he pushed with all his might, and down came the temple on the rulers and all the people in it. Thus he killed many more when he died than while he lived.
參孫求告耶和華說:「主耶和華啊,求你眷念我。神啊,求你賜我這一次的力量,使我在非利士人身上報那剜我雙眼的仇。」 參孫就抱住托房的那兩根柱子:左手抱一根,右手抱一根, 說:「我情願與非利士人同死!」就盡力屈身,房子倒塌,壓住首領和房內的眾人。這樣,參孫死時所殺的人比活著所殺的還多。
雅各書 1:19 - 20 My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.
我親愛的弟兄們,這是你們所知道的,但你們各人要快快的聽,慢慢的說,慢慢的動怒, 因為人的怒氣並不成就神的義。
箴言 3:5 - 6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
你要專心仰賴耶和華,不可倚靠自己的聰明, 在你一切所行的事上都要認定他,他必指引你的路。
約翰福音 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

彼得前書 2:23 When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly.
他被罵不還口;受害不說威嚇的話,只將自己交託那按公義審判人的主。
申命記 28:47 - 48 Because you did not serve the Lord your God joyfully and gladly in the time of prosperity, therefore in hunger and thirst, in nakedness and dire poverty, you will serve the enemies the Lord sends against you. He will put an iron yoke on your neck until he has destroyed you.
「因為你富有的時候,不歡心樂意地事奉耶和華你的神, 所以你必在飢餓、乾渴、赤露、缺乏之中事奉耶和華所打發來攻擊你的仇敵。他必把鐵軛加在你的頸項上,直到將你滅絕。
箴言 10:12 Hatred stirs up conflict, but love covers over all wrongs.
恨能挑啟爭端;愛能遮掩一切過錯。
路加福音 10:30 - 37 In reply Jesus said: "A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he was attacked by robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead. A priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side. So too, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him. He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, brought him to an inn and took care of him. The next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper. 'Look after him,' he said, 'and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.' "Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?" The expert in the law replied, "The one who had mercy on him." Jesus told him, "Go and do likewise."
耶穌回答說:「有一個人從耶路撒冷下耶利哥去,落在強盜手中。他們剝去他的衣裳,把他打個半死,就丟下他走了。 偶然有一個祭司從這條路下來,看見他就從那邊過去了。 又有一個利未人來到這地方,看見他,也照樣從那邊過去了。 惟有一個撒瑪利亞人行路來到那裡,看見他就動了慈心, 上前用油和酒倒在他的傷處,包裹好了,扶他騎上自己的牲口,帶到店裡去照應他。 第二天拿出二錢銀子來,交給店主,說:『你且照應他;此外所費用的,我回來必還你。』 你想,這三個人那一個是落在強盜手中的鄰舍呢?」 他說:「是憐憫他的。」耶穌說:「你去照樣行吧。」
約翰福音 14:15 "If you love me, keep my commands.
「你們若愛我,就必遵守我的命令。

雅各書 2:12 - 13 Speak and act as those who are going to be judged by the law that gives freedom, because judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment.
你們既然要按使人自由的律法受審判,就該照這律法說話行事。 因為那不憐憫人的,也要受無憐憫的審判;憐憫原是向審判誇勝。
士師記 5:8 God chose new leaders when war came to the city gates, but not a shield or spear was seen among forty thousand in Israel.
以色列人選擇新神,爭戰的事就臨到城門。那時,以色列四萬人中豈能見盾牌槍矛呢?
路加福音 22:36 He said to them, "But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don't have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one.
耶穌說:「但如今有錢囊的可以帶著,有口袋的也可以帶著,沒有刀的要賣衣服買刀。
約翰福音 18:36 Jesus said, "My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place."
耶穌回答說:「我的國不屬這世界;我的國若屬這世界,我的臣僕必要爭戰,使我不至於被交給猶太人。只是我的國不屬這世界。」
羅馬書 12:2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-his good, pleasing and perfect will.
不要效法這個世界,只要心意更新而變化,叫你們察驗何為神的善良、純全、可喜悅的旨意。
提摩太前書 5:8 Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
人若不看顧親屬,就是背了真道,比不信的人還不好,不看顧自己家裡的人,更是如此。
出埃及記 22:2 - 3 "If a thief is caught breaking in at night and is struck a fatal blow, the defender is not guilty of bloodshed; but if it happens after sunrise, the defender is guilty of bloodshed. "Anyone who steals must certainly make restitution, but if they have nothing, they must be sold to pay for their theft.
人若遇見賊挖窟窿,把賊打了,以至於死,就不能為他有流血的罪。 若太陽已經出來,就為他有流血的罪。賊若被拿,總要賠還。若他一無所有,就要被賣,頂他所偷的物。
瑪拉基書 3:6 "I the Lord do not change. So you, the descendants of Jacob, are not destroyed.
「因我耶和華是不改變的,所以你們雅各之子沒有滅亡。
路加福音 17:3 - 4 So watch yourselves. "If your brother or sister ote style="f" caller="+"> 17:3 The Greek word for brother or sister ( adelphos ) refers here to a fellow disciple, whether man or woman. sins against you, rebuke them; and if they repent, forgive them. 你們要謹慎!若是你的弟兄得罪你,就勸戒他;他若懊悔,就饒恕他。 倘若他一天七次得罪你,又七次回轉,說:『我懊悔了』,你總要饒恕他。」
約翰福音 14:26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.
但保惠師,就是父因我的名所要差來的聖靈,他要將一切的事指教你們,並且要叫你們想起我對你們所說的一切話。
使徒行傳 7:54 - 59 When the members of the Sanhedrin heard this, they were furious and gnashed their teeth at him. But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, looked up to heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God. "Look," he said, "I see heaven open and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God." At this they covered their ears and, yelling at the top of their voices, they all rushed at him, dragged him out of the city and began to stone him. Meanwhile, the witnesses laid their coats at the feet of a young man named Saul. While they were stoning him, Stephen prayed, "Lord Jesus, receive my spirit."
眾人聽見這話就極其惱怒,向司提反咬牙切齒。 但司提反被聖靈充滿,定睛望天,看見神的榮耀,又看見耶穌站在神的右邊, 就說:「我看見天開了,人子站在神的右邊。」 眾人大聲喊叫,摀著耳朵,齊心擁上前去, 把他推到城外,用石頭打他。作見證的人把衣裳放在一個少年人名叫掃羅的腳前。 他們正用石頭打的時候,司提反呼籲主說:「求主耶穌接收我的靈魂!」
