馬太福音 23:19 You blind men! Which is greater: the gift, or the altar that makes the gift sacred?
你們這瞎眼的人哪,什麼是大的?是禮物呢?還是叫禮物成聖的壇呢?
馬太福音 6:23 But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!
你的眼睛若昏花,全身就黑暗。你裡頭的光若黑暗了,那黑暗是何等大呢!」
馬太福音 15:14 Leave them; they are blind guides. If the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit."
任憑他們吧!他們是瞎眼領路的;若是瞎子領瞎子,兩個人都要掉在坑裡。」
提多書 1:16 They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good.
他們說是認識神,行事卻和他相背,本是可憎惡的,是悖逆的,在各樣善事上是可廢棄的。
以賽亞書 42:7 to open eyes that are blind, to free captives from prison and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness.
開瞎子的眼,領被囚的出牢獄,領坐黑暗的出監牢。
約翰福音 3:20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed.
凡作惡的便恨光,並不來就光,恐怕他的行為受責備。
詩篇 119:18 Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law.

哥林多前書 2:14 The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.
然而,屬血氣的人不領會神聖靈的事,反倒以為愚拙,並且不能知道,因為這些事惟有屬靈的人才能看透。
以賽亞書 9:2 The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned.
在黑暗中行走的百姓看見了大光;住在死蔭之地的人有光照耀他們。
以賽亞書 42:18 - 20 "Hear, you deaf; look, you blind, and see! Who is blind but my servant, and deaf like the messenger I send? Who is blind like the one in covenant with me, blind like the servant of the Lord? You have seen many things, but you pay no attention; your ears are open, but you do not listen."
你們這耳聾的,聽吧!你們這眼瞎的,看吧!使你們能看見。 誰比我的僕人眼瞎呢?誰比我差遣的使者耳聾呢?誰瞎眼像那與我和好的?誰瞎眼像耶和華的僕人呢? 你看見許多事卻不領會,耳朵開通卻不聽見。
以賽亞書 60:2 See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you.
看哪,黑暗遮蓋大地,幽暗遮蓋萬民,耶和華卻要顯現照耀你;他的榮耀要現在你身上。
約翰福音 9:39 Jesus said, "For judgment I have come into this world, so that the blind will see and those who see will become blind."
耶穌說:「我為審判到這世上來,叫不能看見的,可以看見;能看見的,反瞎了眼。」
哥林多前書 1:20 - 21 Where is the wise person? Where is the teacher of the law? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe.
智慧人在那裡?文士在那裡?這世上的辯士在那裡?神豈不是叫這世上的智慧變成愚拙嗎? 世人憑自己的智慧,既不認識神,神就樂意用人所當作愚拙的道理,拯救那些信的人;這就是神的智慧了。
彼得後書 1:9 But whoever does not have them is nearsighted and blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their past sins.
人若沒有這幾樣,就是眼瞎,只看見近處的,忘了他舊日的罪已經得了潔淨。
約伯記 22:13 - 14 Yet you say, 'What does God know? Does he judge through such darkness? Thick clouds veil him, so he does not see us as he goes about in the vaulted heavens.'
你說:神知道什麼?他豈能看透幽暗施行審判呢? 密雲將他遮蓋,使他不能看見;他周遊穹蒼。
詩篇 73:22 I was senseless and ignorant; I was a brute beast before you.

耶利米書 8:7 Even the stork in the sky knows her appointed seasons, and the dove, the swift and the thrush observe the time of their migration. But my people do not know the requirements of the Lord.

馬可福音 4:15 Some people are like seed along the path, where the word is sown. As soon as they hear it, Satan comes and takes away the word that was sown in them.
那撒在路旁的,就是人聽了道,撒但立刻來,把撒在他心裡的道奪了去。

哥林多後書 3:14 - 15 But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away. Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts.

帖撒羅尼迦前書 4:4 - 7 that each of you should learn to control your own body in a way that is holy and honorable, not in passionate lust like the pagans, who do not know God; and that in this matter no one should wrong or take advantage of a brother or sister. The Lord will punish all those who commit such sins, as we told you and warned you before. For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life.
要你們各人曉得怎樣用聖潔、尊貴守著自己的身體。 不放縱私慾的邪情,像那不認識神的外邦人。 不要一個人在這事上越分,欺負他的弟兄;因為這一類的事,主必報應,正如我預先對你們說過,又切切囑咐你們的。 神召我們,本不是要我們沾染污穢,乃是要我們成為聖潔。
提摩太後書 3:7 always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth.
常常學習,終久不能明白真道。
詩篇 82:5 "The 'gods' know nothing, they understand nothing. They walk about in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken.

箴言 28:5 Evildoers do not understand what is right, but those who seek the Lord understand it fully.
壞人不明白公義;惟有尋求耶和華的,無不明白。
傳道書 7:25 So I turned my mind to understand, to investigate and to search out wisdom and the scheme of things and to understand the stupidity of wickedness and the madness of folly.
我轉念,一心要知道,要考察,要尋求智慧和萬事的理由;又要知道邪惡為愚昧,愚昧為狂妄。
以賽亞書 28:13 So then, the word of the Lord to them will become: Do this, do that, a rule for this, a rule for that; a little here, a little there- so that as they go they will fall backward; they will be injured and snared and captured.

耶利米書 5:4 I thought, "These are only the poor; they are foolish, for they do not know the way of the Lord, the requirements of their God.

必有許多人使自己清淨潔白,且被熬煉;但惡人仍必行惡,一切惡人都不明白,惟獨智慧人能明白。
何西阿書 4:14 "I will not punish your daughters when they turn to prostitution, nor your daughters-in-law when they commit adultery, because the men themselves consort with harlots and sacrifice with shrine prostitutes- a people without understanding will come to ruin!
你們的女兒淫亂,你們的新婦行淫,我卻不懲罰他們;因為你們自己離群與娼妓同居,與妓女一同獻祭。這無知的民必致傾倒。
阿摩司書 9:10 All the sinners among my people will die by the sword, all those who say, 'Disaster will not overtake or meet us.'
我民中的一切罪人說:災禍必追不上我們,也迎不著我們。他們必死在刀下。
彌迦書 4:12 But they do not know the thoughts of the Lord; they do not understand his plan, that he has gathered them like sheaves to the threshing floor.
他們卻不知道耶和華的意念,也不明白他的籌劃。他聚集他們,好像把禾捆聚到禾場一樣。
馬太福音 13:19 When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in their heart. This is the seed sown along the path.
凡聽見天國道理不明白的,那惡者就來,把所撒在他心裡的奪了去;這就是撒在路旁的了。
馬太福音 23:26 Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean.
你這瞎眼的法利賽人,先洗淨杯盤的裡面,好叫外面也乾淨了。
馬可福音 6:52 for they had not understood about the loaves; their hearts were hardened.
這是因為他們不明白那分餅的事,心裡還是愚頑。
路加福音 8:12 Those along the path are the ones who hear, and then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved.
那些在路旁的,就是人聽了道,隨後魔鬼來,從他們心裡把道奪去,恐怕他們信了得救。

光照在黑暗裡,黑暗卻不接受光。

他們說:耶和華必不看見;雅各的神必不思念。
以賽亞書 6:9 - 10 He said, "Go and tell this people: " 'Be ever hearing, but never understanding; be ever seeing, but never perceiving.' Make the heart of this people calloused; make their ears dull and close their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and turn and be healed."
他說:「你去告訴這百姓說:你們聽是要聽見,卻不明白;看是要看見,卻不曉得。 要使這百姓心蒙脂油,耳朵發沉,眼睛昏迷;恐怕眼睛看見,耳朵聽見,心裡明白,回轉過來,便得醫治。」
以賽亞書 44:20 Such a person feeds on ashes; a deluded heart misleads him; he cannot save himself, or say, "Is not this thing in my right hand a lie?"
他以灰為食,心中昏迷,使他偏邪,他不能自救,也不能說:「我右手中豈不是有虛謊嗎?」
