"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.
But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
「你們要進窄門。因為引到滅亡,那門是寬的,路是大的,進去的人也多;
引到永生,那門是窄的,路是小的,找著的人也少。」

if you obey the Lord your God and keep his commands and decrees that are written in this Book of the Law and turn to the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

哥林多前書 10:13
No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

民數記 9:15

On the day the tabernacle, the tent of the covenant law, was set up, the cloud covered it. From evening till morning the cloud above the tabernacle looked like fire.
That is how it continued to be; the cloud covered it, and at night it looked like fire.
Whenever the cloud lifted from above the tent, the Israelites set out; wherever the cloud settled, the Israelites encamped.
At the Lord's command the Israelites set out, and at his command they encamped. As long as the cloud stayed over the tabernacle, they remained in camp.
When the cloud remained over the tabernacle a long time, the Israelites obeyed the Lord's order and did not set out.
Sometimes the cloud was over the tabernacle only a few days; at the Lord's command they would encamp, and then at his command they would set out.
Sometimes the cloud stayed only from evening till morning, and when it lifted in the morning, they set out. Whether by day or by night, whenever the cloud lifted, they set out.
Whether the cloud stayed over the tabernacle for two days or a month or a year, the Israelites would remain in camp and not set out; but when it lifted, they would set out.
At the Lord's command they encamped, and at the Lord's command they set out. They obeyed the Lord's order, in accordance with his command through Moses.
立起帳幕的那日,有雲彩遮蓋帳幕,就是法櫃的帳幕;從晚上到早晨,雲彩在其上,形狀如火。
常是這樣,雲彩遮蓋帳幕,夜間形狀如火。
雲彩幾時從帳幕收上去,以色列人就幾時起行;雲彩在那裡停住,以色列人就在那裡安營。
以色列人遵耶和華的吩咐起行,也遵耶和華的吩咐安營。雲彩在帳幕上停住幾時,他們就住營幾時。

有時從晚上到早晨,有這雲彩在帳幕上;早晨雲彩收上去,他們就起行。有時晝夜雲彩停在帳幕上,收上去的時候,他們就起行。
雲彩停留在帳幕上,無論是兩天,是一月,是一年,以色列人就住營不起行;但雲彩收上去,他們就起行。
他們遵耶和華的吩咐安營,也遵耶和華的吩咐起行。他們守耶和華所吩咐的,都是憑耶和華吩咐摩西的。
詩篇 127:3

Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him.
Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one's youth.
Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court.
兒女是耶和華所賜的產業;所懷的胎是他所給的賞賜。
少年時所生的兒女好像勇士手中的箭。
箭袋充滿的人便為有福;他們在城門口和仇敵說話的時候,必不至於羞愧。
傳道書 12:13

Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind.
For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil.
這些事都已聽見了,總意就是:敬畏神,謹守他的誡命,這是人所當盡的本分(或作:這是眾人的本分)。

以西結書 18:20

Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister, 'Raca,'5:22An Aramaic term of contempt is answerable to the court. And anyone who says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell.
"Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you,
leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift.
"Settle matters quickly with your adversary who is taking you to court. Do it while you are still together on the way, or your adversary may hand you over to the judge, and the judge may hand you over to the officer, and you may be thrown into prison.
Truly I tell you, you will not get out until you have paid the last penny.
「你們聽見有吩咐古人的話,說:『不可殺人』;又說:『凡殺人的難免受審判。』
只是我告訴你們:凡(有古卷在凡字下加:無緣無故地)向弟兄動怒的,難免受審判;凡罵弟兄是拉加的,難免公會的審斷;凡罵弟兄是魔利的,難免地獄的火。
所以,你在祭壇上獻禮物的時候,若想起弟兄向你懷怨,
就把禮物留在壇前,先去同弟兄和好,然後來獻禮物。
你同告你的對頭還在路上,就趕緊與他和息,恐怕他把你送給審判官,審判官交付衙役,你就下在監裡了。
我實在告訴你,若有一文錢沒有還清,你斷不能從那裡出來。」
馬太福音 7:3

"Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?
How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye?
You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.
為什麼看見你弟兄眼中有刺,卻不想自己眼中有梁木呢?
你自己眼中有梁木,怎能對你弟兄說:『容我去掉你眼中的刺』呢?
你這假冒為善的人!先去掉自己眼中的梁木,然後才能看得清楚,去掉你弟兄眼中的刺。
羅馬書 3:23

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood-to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished-
因為世人都犯了罪,虧缺了神的榮耀;
如今卻蒙神的恩典,因基督耶穌的救贖,就白白的稱義。

For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

He then gave an order: "Cut the living child in two and give half to one and half to the other."
The woman whose son was alive was deeply moved out of love for her son and said to the king, "Please, my lord, give her the living baby! Don't kill him!" But the other said, "Neither I nor you shall have him. Cut him in two!"
Then the king gave his ruling: "Give the living baby to the first woman. Do not kill him; she is his mother."
When all Israel heard the verdict the king had given, they held the king in awe, because they saw that he had wisdom from God to administer justice.
王說:「將活孩子劈成兩半,一半給那婦人,一半給這婦人。」
活孩子的母親為自己的孩子心裡急痛,就說:「求我主將活孩子給那婦人吧,萬不可殺他!」那婦人說:「這孩子也不歸我,也不歸你,把他劈了吧!」
王說:「將活孩子給這婦人,萬不可殺他;這婦人實在是他的母親。」
以色列眾人聽見王這樣判斷,就都敬畏他;因為見他心裡有神的智慧,能以斷案。
箴言 4:5

Get wisdom, get understanding; do not forget my words or turn away from them.
Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you.
The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding.
Cherish her, and she will exalt you; embrace her, and she will honor you.
She will give you a garland to grace your head and present you with a glorious crown."
要得智慧,要得聰明,不可忘記,也不可偏離我口中的言語。
不可離棄智慧,智慧就護衛你;要愛他,他就保守你。
