啟示錄 1:18
I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.
又是那存活的；我曾死過，現在又活了，直活到永永遠遠；並且拿著死亡和陰間的鑰匙。
以賽亞書 5:14
Therefore Death expands its jaws, opening wide its mouth; into it will descend their nobles and masses with all their brawlers and revelers.

or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead.
Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord; because of these same detestable practices the Lord your God will drive out those nations before you.
你們中間不可有人使兒女經火，也不可有占卜的、觀兆的、用法術的、行邪術的、
用迷術的、交鬼的、行巫術的、過陰的。
凡行這些事的都為耶和華所憎惡；因那些國民行這可憎惡的事，所以耶和華你的神將他們從你面前趕出。
約伯記 14:13
"If only you would hide me in the grave and conceal me till your anger has passed! If only you would set me a time and then remember me!
惟願你把我藏在陰間，存於隱密處，等你的忿怒過去；願你為我定了日期，記念我。
路加福音 12:5
But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear him who, after your body has been killed, has authority to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him.
我要指示你們當怕的是誰：當怕那殺了以後又有權柄丟在地獄裡的。我實在告訴你們，正要怕他。
利未記 20:6
" 'I will set my face against anyone who turns to mediums and spiritists to prostitute themselves by following them, and I will cut them off from their people.

約翰一書 4:1
Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
親愛的弟兄啊，一切的靈，你們不可都信，總要試驗那些靈是出於神的不是，因為世上有許多假先知已經出來了。
利未記 20:27
" 'A man or woman who is a medium or spiritist among you must be put to death. You are to stone them; their blood will be on their own heads.' "
「無論男女，是交鬼的或行巫術的，總要治死他們。人必用石頭把他們打死，罪要歸到他們身上。」
約拿書 2:2
He said: "In my distress I called to the Lord, and he answered me. From deep in the realm of the dead I called for help, and you listened to my cry.
說：我遭遇患難求告耶和華，你就應允我；從陰間的深處呼求，你就俯聽我的聲音。
創世記 37:35
All his sons and daughters came to comfort him, but he refused to be comforted. "No," he said, "I will continue to mourn until I join my son in the grave." So his father wept for him.

When you enter the land the Lord your God is giving you, do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations there.
Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft,
or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead.
Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord; because of these same detestable practices the Lord your God will drive out those nations before you.
You must be blameless before the Lord your God.
The nations you will dispossess listen to those who practice sorcery or divination. But as for you, the Lord your God has not permitted you to do so.
「你到了耶和華你神所賜之地，那些國民所行可憎惡的事，你不可學著行。
你們中間不可有人使兒女經火，也不可有占卜的、觀兆的、用法術的、行邪術的、
用迷術的、交鬼的、行巫術的、過陰的。
凡行這些事的都為耶和華所憎惡；因那些國民行這可憎惡的事，所以耶和華你的神將他們從你面前趕出。
你要在耶和華你的神面前作完全人。」
「因你所要趕出的那些國民都聽信觀兆的和占卜的，至於你，耶和華你的神從來不許你這樣行。
詩篇 55:15
Let death take my enemies by surprise; let them go down alive to the realm of the dead, for evil finds lodging among them.
願死亡忽然臨到他們！願他們活活的下入陰間！因為他們的住處，他們的心中，都是邪惡。
傳道書 9:5
For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing; they have no further reward, and even their name is forgotten.
活著的人知道必死；死了的人毫無所知，也不再得賞賜；他們的名無人記念。
