詩篇 27:1
The Lord is my light and my salvation- whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life- of whom shall I be afraid?
（大衛的詩。）耶和華是我的亮光，是我的拯救，我還怕誰呢？耶和華是我性命的保障（或作：力量），我還懼誰呢？
詩篇 121:7

The Lord will keep you from all harm- he will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.
耶和華要保護你，免受一切的災害；他要保護你的性命。

希伯來書 13:5
Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."

以西結書 34:28
They will no longer be plundered by the nations, nor will wild animals devour them. They will live in safety, and no one will make them afraid.

If you say, "The Lord is my refuge," and you make the Most High your dwelling,
no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent.

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.
Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes.
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,
and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord's people.
我還有末了的話：你們要靠著主，倚賴他的大能大力作剛強的人。
要穿戴神所賜的全副軍裝，就能抵擋魔鬼的詭計。
因我們並不是與屬血氣的爭戰（原文作摔跤；下同），乃是與那些執政的、掌權的、管轄這幽暗世界的，以及天空屬靈氣的惡魔爭戰。
所以，要拿起神所賜的全副軍裝，好在磨難的日子抵擋仇敵，並且成就了一切，還能站立得住。
所以要站穩了，用真理當作帶子束腰，用公義當作護心鏡遮胸，
又用平安的福音當作預備走路的鞋穿在腳上。
此外，又拿著信德當作藤牌，可以滅盡那惡者一切的火箭；
並戴上救恩的頭盔，拿著聖靈的寶劍，就是神的道；
靠著聖靈，隨時多方禱告祈求；並要在此警醒不倦，為眾聖徒祈求，
申命記 33:12
About Benjamin he said: "Let the beloved of the Lord rest secure in him, for he shields him all day long, and the one the Lord loves rests between his shoulders."
論便雅憫說：耶和華所親愛的必同耶和華安然居住；耶和華終日遮蔽他，也住在他兩肩之中。

"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."

But now, this is what the Lord says- he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: "Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.
雅各啊，創造你的耶和華，以色列啊，造成你的那位，現在如此說：你不要害怕！因為我救贖了你。我曾提你的名召你，你是屬我的。
你從水中經過，我必與你同在；你逿過江河，水必不漫過你；你從火中行過，必不被燒，火焰也不著在你身上。
