阿摩司書 8:11
"The days are coming," declares the Sovereign Lord, "when I will send a famine through the land- not a famine of food or a thirst for water, but a famine of hearing the words of the Lord.
主耶和華說：日子將到，我必命饑荒降在地上。人飢餓非因無餅，乾渴非因無水，乃因不聽耶和華的話。
馬太福音 24:7
Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.
民要攻打民，國要攻打國；多處必有飢荒、地震。
路加福音 21:11
There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.
地要大大震動，多處必有饑荒、瘟疫，又有可怕的異象和大神蹟從天上顯現。
創世記 41:53

The seven years of abundance in Egypt came to an end,
and the seven years of famine began, just as Joseph had said. There was famine in all the other lands, but in the whole land of Egypt there was food.
When all Egypt began to feel the famine, the people cried to Pharaoh for food. Then Pharaoh told all the Egyptians, "Go to Joseph and do what he tells you."
When the famine had spread over the whole country, Joseph opened all the storehouses and sold grain to the Egyptians, for the famine was severe throughout Egypt.
And all the world came to Egypt to buy grain from Joseph, because the famine was severe everywhere.
埃及地的七個豐年一完，
七個荒年就來了。正如約瑟所說的，各地都有饑荒；惟獨埃及全地有糧食。

The seeds are shriveled beneath the clods. The storehouses are in ruins, the granaries have been broken down, for the grain has dried up.
How the cattle moan! The herds mill about because they have no pasture; even the flocks of sheep are suffering.
To you, Lord, I call, for fire has devoured the pastures in the wilderness and flames have burned up all the trees of the field.
Even the wild animals pant for you; the streams of water have dried up and fire has devoured the pastures in the wilderness.
穀種在土塊下朽爛；倉也荒涼，廩也破壞；因為五穀枯乾了。
牲畜哀鳴；牛群混亂，因為無草；羊群也受了困苦。
耶和華啊，我向你求告，因為火燒滅曠野的草場；火焰燒盡田野的樹木。
田野的走獸向你發喘；因為溪水乾涸，火也燒滅曠野的草場。
阿摩司書 4:6

"I gave you empty stomachs in every city and lack of bread in every town, yet you have not returned to me," declares the Lord.
"I also withheld rain from you when the harvest was still three months away. I sent rain on one town, but withheld it from another. One field had rain; another had none and dried up.
People staggered from town to town for water but did not get enough to drink, yet you have not returned to me," declares the Lord.
"Many times I struck your gardens and vineyards, destroying them with blight and mildew. Locusts devoured your fig and olive trees, yet you have not returned to me," declares the Lord.
我使你們在一切城中牙齒乾淨，在你們各處糧食缺乏，你們仍不歸向我。這是耶和華說的。
在收割的前三月，我使雨停止，不降在你們那裡；我降雨在這城，不降雨在那城；這塊地有雨，那塊地無雨；無雨的就枯乾了。
這樣，兩三城的人湊到一城去找水，卻喝不足；你們仍不歸向我。這是耶和華說的。
我以旱風、霉爛攻擊你們，你們園中許多菜蔬、葡萄樹、無花果樹、橄欖樹都被剪蟲所吃；你們仍不歸向我。這是耶和華說的。
創世記 12:10
Now there was a famine in the land, and Abram went down to Egypt to live there for a while because the famine was severe.
那地遭遇饑荒。因饑荒甚大，亞伯蘭就下埃及去，要在那裡暫居。
列王記下 7:4
If we say, 'We'll go into the city'-the famine is there, and we will die. And if we stay here, we will die. So let's go over to the camp of the Arameans and surrender. If they spare us, we live; if they kill us, then we die."

耶利米書 29:17
yes, this is what the Lord Almighty says: "I will send the sword, famine and plague against them and I will make them like figs that are so bad they cannot be eaten.
