創世記 9:3
Everything that lives and moves about will be food for you. Just as I gave you the green plants, I now give you everything.
凡活著的動物都可以作你們的食物。這一切我都賜給你們，如同菜蔬一樣。
創世記 1:29
Then God said, "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.

"Those who consecrate and purify themselves to go into the gardens, following one who is among those who eat the flesh of pigs, rats and other unclean things-they will meet their end together with the one they follow," declares the Lord.
"And I, because of what they have planned and done, am about to come and gather the people of all nations and languages, and they will come and see my glory.
看哪，耶和華必在火中降臨；他的車輦像旋風，以烈怒施行報應，以火焰施行責罰；
因為耶和華在一切有血氣的人身上，必以火與刀施行審判；被耶和華所殺的必多。
「那些分別為聖、潔淨自己的，進入園內跟在其中一個人的後頭，吃豬肉和倉鼠並可憎之物，他們必一同滅絕；這是耶和華說的。

哥林多前書 6:13
You say, "Food for the stomach and the stomach for food, and God will destroy them both." The body, however, is not meant for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.
食物是為肚腹，肚腹是為食物；但神要叫這兩樣都廢壞。身子不是為淫亂，乃是為主；主也是為身子。
創世記 1:30
And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground-everything that has the breath of life in it-I give every green plant for food." And it was so.
至於地上的走獸和空中的飛鳥，並各樣爬在地上有生命的物，我將青草賜給他們作食物。」事就這樣成了。
利未記 19:19

哥林多前書 15:38

But God gives it a body as he has determined, and to each kind of seed he gives its own body.
Not all flesh is the same: People have one kind of flesh, animals have another, birds another and fish another.
但神隨自己的意思給他一個形體，並叫各等子粒各有自己的形體。
凡肉體各有不同：人是一樣，獸又是一樣，鳥又是一樣，魚又是一樣。

He became hungry and wanted something to eat, and while the meal was being prepared, he fell into a trance.
He saw heaven opened and something like a large sheet being let down to earth by its four corners.
It contained all kinds of four-footed animals, as well as reptiles and birds.
Then a voice told him, "Get up, Peter. Kill and eat."
"Surely not, Lord!" Peter replied. "I have never eaten anything impure or unclean."
覺得餓了，想要吃。那家的人正預備飯的時候，彼得魂遊象外，
看見天開了，有一物降下，好像一塊大布，繫著四角，縋在地上，
裡面有地上各樣四足的走獸和昆蟲，並天上的飛鳥；
又有聲音向他說：「彼得，起來，宰了吃！」
彼得卻說：「主啊，這是不可的！凡俗物和不潔淨的物，我從來沒有吃過。」
哥林多前書 10:20

No, but the sacrifices of pagans are offered to demons, not to God, and I do not want you to be participants with demons.
You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons too; you cannot have a part in both the Lord's table and the table of demons.
我乃是說，外邦人所獻的祭是祭鬼，不是祭神。我不願意你們與鬼相交。
你們不能喝主的杯又喝鬼的杯，不能吃主的筵席又吃鬼的筵席。
提摩太前書 4:4

For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving,
because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer.
凡神所造的物都是好的，若感謝著領受，就沒有一樣可棄的，

You have forgotten God your Savior; you have not remembered the Rock, your fortress. Therefore, though you set out the finest plants and plant imported vines,

因你忘記救你的神，不記念你能力的磐石；所以，你栽上佳美的樹秧子，插上異樣的栽子。
栽種的日子，你周圍圈上籬笆，又到早晨使你所種的開花；但在愁苦極其傷痛的日子，所收割的都飛去了。
以賽亞書 65:3

a people who continually provoke me to my very face, offering sacrifices in gardens and burning incense on altars of brick;
who sit among the graves and spend their nights keeping secret vigil; who eat the flesh of pigs, and whose pots hold broth of impure meat;
who say, 'Keep away; don't come near me, for I am too sacred for you!' Such people are smoke in my nostrils, a fire that keeps burning all day.
"See, it stands written before me: I will not keep silent but will pay back in full; I will pay it back into their laps-
這百姓時常當面惹我發怒；在園中獻祭，在壇（原文作磚）上燒香；
在墳墓間坐著，在隱密處住宿，吃豬肉；他們器皿中有可憎之物做的湯；
且對人說：你站開吧！不要挨近我，因為我比你聖潔。主說：這些人是我鼻中的煙，是整天燒著的火。
看哪，這都寫在我面前。我必不靜默，必施行報應，必將你們的罪孽和你們列祖的罪孽，就是在山上燒香，在岡上褻瀆我的罪孽，一同報應在他們後人懷中，我先要把他們所行的量給他們；這是耶和華說的。
馬可福音 7:14
- 23
Again Jesus called the crowd to him and said, "Listen to me, everyone, and understand this.
Nothing outside a person can defile them by going into them. Rather, it is what comes out of a person that defiles them. "
After he had left the crowd and entered the house, his disciples asked him about this parable.
"Are you so dull?" he asked. "Don't you see that nothing that enters a person from the outside can defile them?
For it doesn't go into their heart but into their stomach, and then out of the body." (In saying this, Jesus declared all foods clean.)
He went on: "What comes out of a person is what defiles them.
For it is from within, out of a person's heart, that evil thoughts come-sexual immorality, theft, murder,
adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly.
All these evils come from inside and defile a person."
耶穌又叫眾人來，對他們說：「你們都要聽我的話，也要明白。
從外面進去的不能污穢人，惟有從裡面出來的乃能污穢人。」
（有古卷加：有耳可聽的，就應當聽！）
耶穌離開眾人，進了屋子，門徒就問他這比喻的意思。
耶穌對他們說：「你們也是這樣不明白嗎？豈不曉得凡從外面進入的，不能污穢人，
因為不是入他的心，乃是入他的肚腹，又落到茅廁裡（這是說，各樣的食物都是潔淨的）」；
又說：「從人裡面出來的，那才能污穢人；
因為從裡面，就是從人心裡，發出惡念、苟合、
偷盜、兇殺、姦淫、貪婪、邪惡、詭詐、淫蕩、嫉妒、謗讟、驕傲、狂妄。
這一切的惡都是從裡面出來，且能污穢人。」
馬可福音 6:8
These were his instructions: "Take nothing for the journey except a staff-no bread, no bag, no money in your belts.
並且囑咐他們：「行路的時候不要帶食物和口袋，腰袋裡也不要帶錢，除了柺杖以外，什麼都不要帶；
羅馬書 14:15
If your brother or sister is distressed because of what you eat, you are no longer acting in love. Do not by your eating destroy someone for whom Christ died.
你若因食物叫弟兄憂愁，就不是按著愛人的道理行。基督已經替他死，你不可因你的食物叫他敗壞。
希伯來書 12:16
See that no one is sexually immoral, or is godless like Esau, who for a single meal sold his inheritance rights as the oldest son.
恐怕有淫亂的，有貪戀世俗如以掃的，他因一點食物把自己長子的名分賣了。
創世記 2:9
The Lord God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground-trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
耶和華神使各樣的樹從地裡長出來，可以悅人的眼目，其上的果子好作食物。園子當中又有生命樹和分別善惡的樹。
出埃及記 16:8
Moses also said, "You will know that it was the Lord when he gives you meat to eat in the evening and all the bread you want in the morning, because he has heard your grumbling against him. Who are we? You are not grumbling against us, but against the Lord."
摩西又說：「耶和華晚上必給你們肉吃，早晨必給你們食物得飽；因為你們向耶和華發的怨言，他都聽見了。我們算什麼，你們的怨言不是向我們發的，乃是向耶和華發的。」
出埃及記 16:31
The people of Israel called the bread manna. It was white like coriander seed and tasted like wafers made with honey.
這食物，以色列家叫嗎哪；樣子像芫荽子，顏色是白的，滋味如同攙蜜的薄餅。
羅馬書 14:20
Do not destroy the work of God for the sake of food. All food is clean, but it is wrong for a person to eat anything that causes someone else to stumble.
不可因食物毀壞神的工程。凡物固然潔淨，但有人因食物叫人跌倒，就是他的罪了。
哥林多前書 8:13
Therefore, if what I eat causes my brother or sister to fall into sin, I will never eat meat again, so that I will not cause them to fall.
所以，食物若叫我弟兄跌倒，我就永遠不吃肉，免得叫我弟兄跌倒了。
提摩太前書 4:2

Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron.
They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth.
這是因為說謊之人的假冒；這等人的良心如同被熱鐵烙慣了一般。
他們禁止嫁娶，又禁戒食物（或作：又叫人戒葷），就是神所造、叫那信而明白真道的人感謝著領受的。
約翰福音 6:27
Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him God the Father has placed his seal of approval."
不要為那必壞的食物勞力，要為那存到永生的食物勞力，就是人子要賜給你們的，因為人子是父神所印證的。」
