利未記 25:44

" 'Your male and female slaves are to come from the nations around you; from them you may buy slaves.
You may also buy some of the temporary residents living among you and members of their clans born in your country, and they will become your property.
You can bequeath them to your children as inherited property and can make them slaves for life, but you must not rule over your fellow Israelites ruthlessly.
至於你的奴僕、婢女，可以從你四圍的國中買。
並且那寄居在你們中間的外人和他們的家屬，在你們地上所生的，你們也可以從其中買人；他們要作你們的產業。
你們要將他們遺留給你們的子孫為產業，要永遠從他們中間揀出奴僕；只是你們的弟兄以色列人，你們不可嚴嚴地轄管。
出埃及記 21:20

"Anyone who beats their male or female slave with a rod must be punished if the slave dies as a direct result,
but they are not to be punished if the slave recovers after a day or two, since the slave is their property.
「人若用棍子打奴僕或婢女，立時死在他的手下，他必要受刑。
若過一兩天才死，就可以不受刑，因為是用錢買的。
歌羅西書 4:1
Masters, provide your slaves with what is right and fair, because you know that you also have a Master in heaven.
你們作主人的，要公公平平的待僕人，因為知道你們也有一位主在天上。

"Anyone who kidnaps someone is to be put to death, whether the victim has been sold or is still in the kidnapper's possession.
「拐帶人口，或是把人賣了，或是留在他手下，必要把他治死。

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

利未記 19:20
" 'If a man sleeps with a female slave who is promised to another man but who has not been ransomed or given her freedom, there must be due punishment. Yet they are not to be put to death, because she had not been freed.
「婢女許配了丈夫，還沒有被贖、得釋放，人若與他行淫，二人要受刑罰，卻不把他們治死，因為婢女還沒有得自由。
申命記 23:15

If a slave has taken refuge with you, do not hand them over to their master.
Let them live among you wherever they like and in whatever town they choose. Do not oppress them.
「若有奴僕脫了主人的手，逃到你那裡，你不可將他交付他的主人。
他必在你那裡與你同住，在你的城邑中，要由他選擇一個所喜悅的地方居住；你不可欺負他。
彼得前書 2:18
Slaves, in reverent fear of God submit yourselves to your masters, not only to those who are good and considerate, but also to those who are harsh.
你們作僕人的，凡事要存敬畏的心順服主人；不但順服那善良溫和的，就是那乖僻的也要順服。

"These are the laws you are to set before them:
"If you buy a Hebrew servant, he is to serve you for six years. But in the seventh year, he shall go free, without paying anything.
If he comes alone, he is to go free alone; but if he has a wife when he comes, she is to go with him.
If his master gives him a wife and she bears him sons or daughters, the woman and her children shall belong to her master, and only the man shall go free.
"But if the servant declares, 'I love my master and my wife and children and do not want to go free,'
then his master must take him before the judges. He shall take him to the door or the doorpost and pierce his ear with an awl. Then he will be his servant for life.
「你在百姓面前所要立的典章是這樣：
你若買希伯來人作奴僕，他必服事你六年；第七年他可以自由，白白地出去。
他若孤身來就可以孤身去；他若有妻，他的妻就可以同他出去。
他主人若給他妻子，妻子給他生了兒子或女兒，妻子和兒女要歸主人，他要獨自出去。
倘或奴僕明說：『我愛我的主人和我的妻子兒女，不願意自由出去。』
他的主人就要帶他到審判官（或作：神；下同）那裡，又要帶他到門前，靠近門框，用錐子穿他的耳朵，他就永遠服事主人。
路加福音 12:47
"The servant who knows the master's will and does not get ready or does not do what the master wants will be beaten with many blows.
僕人知道主人的意思，卻不預備，又不順他的意思行，那僕人必多受責打；
羅馬書 6:16
Don't you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey-whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness?
豈不曉得你們獻上自己作奴僕，順從誰，就作誰的奴僕嗎？或作罪的奴僕，以至於死；或作順命的奴僕，以至成義。
歌羅西書 3:22
Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything; and do it, not only when their eye is on you and to curry their favor, but with sincerity of heart and reverence for the Lord.
你們作僕人的，要凡事聽從你們肉身的主人，不要只在眼前事奉，像是討人喜歡的，總要存心誠實敬畏主。
利未記 25:55
for the Israelites belong to me as servants. They are my servants, whom I brought out of Egypt. I am the Lord your God.

If someone is caught kidnapping a fellow Israelite and treating or selling them as a slave, the kidnapper must die. You must purge the evil from among you.

出埃及記 23:12
"Six days do your work, but on the seventh day do not work, so that your ox and your donkey may rest, and so that the slave born in your household and the foreigner living among you may be refreshed.
「六日你要做工，第七日要安息，使牛、驢可以歇息，並使你婢女的兒子和寄居的都可以舒暢。
利未記 19:18
" 'Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against anyone among your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord.

All who are under the yoke of slavery should consider their masters worthy of full respect, so that God's name and our teaching may not be slandered.
Those who have believing masters should not show them disrespect just because they are fellow believers. Instead, they should serve them even better because their masters are dear to them as fellow believers and are devoted to the welfare of their slaves. These are the things you are to teach and insist on.
凡在軛下作僕人的，當以自己主人配受十分的恭敬，免得神的名和道理被人褻瀆。
僕人有信道的主人，不可因為與他是弟兄就輕看他；更要加意服事他；因為得服事之益處的，是信道蒙愛的。你要以此教訓人，勸勉人。
啟示錄 13:16
It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads,
他又叫眾人，無論大小、貧富、自主的、為奴的，都在右手上或是在額上受一個印記。
