約翰福音 15:26
"When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father-the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father-he will testify about me.
但我要從父那裡差保惠師來，就是從父出來真理的聖靈；他來了，就要為我作見證。
約翰福音 14:26
But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.
但保惠師，就是父因我的名所要差來的聖靈，他要將一切的事指教你們，並且要叫你們想起我對你們所說的一切話。

the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.

And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever-

However, as it is written: "What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived" - the things God has prepared for those who love him-
these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.
For who knows a person's thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.
What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us.
This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words.
如經上所記：神為愛他的人所預備的是眼睛未曾看見，耳朵未曾聽見，人心也未曾想到的。
只有神藉著聖靈向我們顯明了，因為聖靈參透萬事，就是神深奧的事也參透了。
除了在人裡頭的靈，誰知道人的事；像這樣，除了神的靈，也沒有人知道神的事。
我們所領受的，並不是世上的靈，乃是從神來的靈，叫我們能知道神開恩賜給我們的事。
並且我們講說這些事，不是用人智慧所指教的言語，乃是用聖靈所指教的言語，將屬靈的話解釋屬靈的事。（或作：將屬靈的事講與屬靈的人）
約翰福音 7:39
By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified.
耶穌這話是指著信他之人要受聖靈說的。那時還沒有賜下聖靈來，因為耶穌尚未得著榮耀。
腓立比書 1:19
for I know that through your prayers and God's provision of the Spirit of Jesus Christ what has happened to me will turn out for my deliverance.
因為我知道，這事藉著你們的祈禱和耶穌基督之靈的幫助，終必叫我得救。
