箴言 23:29

Who has woe? Who has sorrow? Who has strife? Who has complaints? Who has needless bruises? Who has bloodshot eyes?
Those who linger over wine, who go to sample bowls of mixed wine.
Do not gaze at wine when it is red, when it sparkles in the cup, when it goes down smoothly!
In the end it bites like a snake and poisons like a viper.
Your eyes will see strange sights, and your mind will imagine confusing things.
You will be like one sleeping on the high seas, lying on top of the rigging.
"They hit me," you will say, "but I'm not hurt! They beat me, but I don't feel it! When will I wake up so I can find another drink?"
誰有禍患？誰有憂愁？誰有爭鬥？誰有哀嘆（或作：怨言）？誰無故受傷？誰眼目紅赤？
就是那流連飲酒、常去尋找調和酒的人。
酒發紅，在杯中閃爍，你不可觀看，雖然下咽舒暢，終久是咬你如蛇，刺你如毒蛇。
你眼必看見異怪的事（或作：淫婦）；你心必發出乖謬的話。
你必像躺在海中，或像臥在桅杆上。
你必說：人打我，我卻未受傷；人鞭打我，我竟不覺得。我幾時清醒，我仍去尋酒。
傳道書 9:7
Go, eat your food with gladness, and drink your wine with a joyful heart, for God has already approved what you do.
你只管去歡歡喜喜吃你的飯，心中快樂喝你的酒，因為神已經悅納你的作為。
提摩太前書 3:8
In the same way, deacons are to be worthy of respect, sincere, not indulging in much wine, and not pursuing dishonest gain.
作執事的，也是如此：必須端莊，不一口兩舌，不好喝酒，不貪不義之財；
民數記 6:3
they must abstain from wine and other fermented drink and must not drink vinegar made from wine or other fermented drink. They must not drink grape juice or eat grapes or raisins.

It is better not to eat meat or drink wine or to do anything else that will cause your brother or sister to fall.
無論是吃肉，是喝酒，是什麼別的事，叫弟兄跌倒，一概不做才好。

He makes grass grow for the cattle, and plants for people to cultivate- bringing forth food from the earth:
wine that gladdens human hearts, oil to make their faces shine, and bread that sustains their hearts.
他使草生長，給六畜吃，使菜蔬發長，供給人用，使人從地裡能得食物，
又得酒能悅人心，得油能潤人面，得糧能養人心。

Woe to those who rise early in the morning to run after their drinks, who stay up late at night till they are inflamed with wine.

Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy.
行事為人要端正，好像行在白晝。不可荒宴醉酒，不可好色邪蕩，不可爭競嫉妒；
加拉太書 5:19

The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery;
idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions
and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
情慾的事都是顯而易見的，就如姦淫、污穢、邪蕩、
拜偶像、邪術、仇恨、爭競、忌恨、惱怒、結黨、分爭、異端、
嫉妒（有古卷加：兇殺二字）、醉酒、荒宴等類。我從前告訴你們，現在又告訴你們，行這樣事的人必不能承受神的國。
加拉太書 5:21
and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Do not join those who drink too much wine or gorge themselves on meat,

因為好酒貪食的，必至貧窮；好睡覺的，必穿破爛衣服。

And these also stagger from wine and reel from beer: Priests and prophets stagger from beer and are befuddled with wine; they reel from beer, they stagger when seeing visions, they stumble when rendering decisions.
就是這地的人也因酒搖搖晃晃，因濃酒東倒西歪。祭司和先知因濃酒搖搖晃晃，被酒所困，因濃酒東倒西歪。他們錯解默示，謬行審判。
耶利米書 25:27
"Then tell them, 'This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: Drink, get drunk and vomit, and fall to rise no more because of the sword I will send among you.'

路加福音 1:15
for he will be great in the sight of the Lord. He is never to take wine or other fermented drink, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit even before he is born.

On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus' mother was there,
and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding.
When the wine was gone, Jesus' mother said to him, "They have no more wine."
"Woman, ote style="f" caller="+"> 2:4 The Greek for Woman does not denote any disrespect. why do you involve me?" Jesus replied. "My hour has not yet come."
His mother said to the servants, "Do whatever he tells you."
Nearby stood six stone water jars, the kind used by the Jews for ceremonial washing, each holding from twenty to thirty gallons.
Jesus said to the servants, "Fill the jars with water"; so they filled them to the brim.
Then he told them, "Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet." They did so,
and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew. Then he called the bridegroom aside
and said, "Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now."
What Jesus did here in Cana of Galilee was the first of the signs through which he revealed his glory; and his disciples believed in him.
第三日，在加利利的迦拿有娶親的筵席，耶穌的母親在那裡。
耶穌和他的門徒也被請去赴席。
酒用盡了，耶穌的母親對他說：「他們沒有酒了。」
耶穌說：「母親（原文作婦人），我與你有什麼相干？我的時候還沒有到。」
他母親對用人說：「他告訴你們什麼，你們就做什麼。」
照猶太人潔淨的規矩，有六口石缸擺在那裡，每口可以盛兩三桶水。
耶穌對用人說：「把缸倒滿了水。」他們就倒滿了，直到缸口。
耶穌又說：「現在可以舀出來，送給管筵席的。」他們就送了去。
管筵席的嘗了那水變的酒，並不知道是那裡來的，只有舀水的用人知道。管筵席的便叫新郎來，
對他說：「人都是先擺上好酒，等客喝足了，才擺上次的，你倒把好酒留到如今！」
這是耶穌所行的頭一件神蹟，是在加利利的迦拿行的，顯出他的榮耀來；他的門徒就信他了。
哥林多前書 5:11
But now I am writing to you that you must not associate with anyone who claims to be a brother or sister but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or slanderer, a drunkard or swindler. Do not even eat with such people.
但如今我寫信給你們說，若有稱為弟兄是行淫亂的，或貪婪的，或拜偶像的，或辱罵的，或醉酒的，或勒索的，這樣的人不可與他相交，就是與他吃飯都不可。
撒母耳記下 11:13
At David's invitation, he ate and drank with him, and David made him drunk. But in the evening Uriah went out to sleep on his mat among his master's servants; he did not go home.
大衛召了烏利亞來，叫他在自己面前吃喝，使他喝醉。到了晚上，烏利亞出去與他主的僕人一同住宿，還沒有回到家裡去。
