以西結書 33:31
My people come to you, as they usually do, and sit before you to hear your words, but they do not put them into practice. Their mouths speak of love, but their hearts are greedy for unjust gain.
他們來到你這裡如同民來聚會，坐在你面前彷彿是我的民。他們聽你的話卻不去行；因為他們的口多顯愛情，心卻追隨財利。

馬太福音 22:29
Jesus replied, "You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God.
耶穌回答說：「你們錯了；因為不明白聖經，也不曉得神的大能。

馬可福音 7:9
And he continued, "You have a fine way of setting aside the commands of God in order to observe your own traditions!
又說：「你們誠然是廢棄神的誡命，要守自己的遺傳。

馬太福音 15:8 - 9
" 'These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules.' ote style="f" caller="+"> 15:9 Isaiah 29:13 "
這百姓用嘴唇尊敬我，心卻遠離我；他們將人的吩咐當作道理教導人，所以拜我也是枉然。」

馬可福音 7:13
Thus you nullify the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down. And you do many things like that."
這就是你們承接遺傳，廢了神的道。你們還做許多這樣的事。」

啟示錄 3:15 - 16
I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm-neither hot nor cold-I am about to spit you out of my mouth.
我知道你的行為，你也不冷也不熱；我巴不得你或冷或熱。你既如溫水，也不冷也不熱，所以我必從我口中把你吐出去。

使徒行傳 7:48
"However, the Most High does not live in houses made by human hands. As the prophet says:
其實，至高者並不住人手所造的，就如先知所言：

以西結書 34:2 - 3
"Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel; prophesy and say to them: 'This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Woe to you shepherds of Israel who only take care of yourselves! Should not shepherds take care of the flock? You eat the curds, clothe yourselves with the wool and slaughter the choice animals, but you do not take care of the flock.
「人子啊，你要向以色列的牧人發預言，攻擊他們，說，主耶和華如此說：禍哉！以色列的牧人只知牧養自己。牧人豈不當牧養群羊嗎？你們吃脂油、穿羊毛、宰肥壯的，卻不牧養群羊。

提摩太後書 3:5
having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.
有敬虔的外貌，卻背了敬虔的實意；這等人你要躲開。
