For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in the flesh,
in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
律法既因肉體軟弱，有所不能行的，神就差遣自己的兒子，成為罪身的形狀，作了贖罪祭，在肉體中定了罪案，
使律法的義成就在我們這不隨從肉體、只隨從聖靈的人身上。

And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world.
If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God.

This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.

Israel, put your hope in the Lord, for with the Lord is unfailing love and with him is full redemption.
He himself will redeem Israel from all their sins.
以色列啊，你當仰望耶和華！因他有慈愛，有豐盛的救恩。
他必救贖以色列脫離一切的罪孽。
以賽亞書 49:26
I will make your oppressors eat their own flesh; they will be drunk on their own blood, as with wine. Then all mankind will know that I, the Lord, am your Savior, your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob."

For your Maker is your husband- the Lord Almighty is his name- the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; he is called the God of all the earth.
因為造你的是你的丈夫；萬軍之耶和華是他的名。救贖你的是以色列的聖者；他必稱為全地之神。
以賽亞書 59:15

Truth is nowhere to be found, and whoever shuns evil becomes a prey. The Lord looked and was displeased that there was no justice.
He saw that there was no one, he was appalled that there was no one to intervene; so his own arm achieved salvation for him, and his own righteousness sustained him.
誠實少見；離惡的人反成掠物。那時，耶和華看見沒有公平，甚不喜悅。
他見無人拯救，無人代求，甚為詫異，就用自己的膀臂施行拯救，以公義扶持自己。
羅馬書 8:32
He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all-how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?
神既不愛惜自己的兒子，為我們眾人捨了，豈不也把萬物和他一同白白的賜給我們嗎？
以弗所書 2:6

And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,
in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.
他又叫我們與基督耶穌一同復活，一同坐在天上，
要將他極豐富的恩典，就是他在基督耶穌裡向我們所施的恩慈，顯明給後來的世代看。
希伯來書 2:9

But we do see Jesus, who was made lower than the angels for a little while, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone.
In bringing many sons and daughters to glory, it was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make the pioneer of their salvation perfect through what he suffered.
惟獨見那成為比天使小一點的耶穌（或作：惟獨見耶穌暫時比天使小）；因為受死的苦，就得了尊貴榮耀為冠冕，叫他因著神的恩，為人人嘗了死味。
原來那為萬物所屬為萬物所本的，要領許多的兒子進榮耀裡去，使救他們的元帥，因受苦難得以完全，本是合宜的。
羅馬書 3:25
God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood-to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished-
神設立耶穌作挽回祭，是憑著耶穌的血，藉著人的信，要顯明神的義；因為他用忍耐的心寬容人先時所犯的罪，

When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins,
having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross.
你們從前在過犯和未受割禮的肉體中死了，神赦免了你們（或作：我們）一切過犯，便叫你們與基督一同活過來；
又塗抹了在律例上所寫攻擊我們，有礙於我們的字據，把他撤去，釘在十字架上。

For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.

and he is gracious to that person and says to God, 'Spare them from going down to the pit; I have found a ransom for them-
let their flesh be renewed like a child's; let them be restored as in the days of their youth'-
then that person can pray to God and find favor with him, they will see God's face and shout for joy; he will restore them to full well-being.
And they will go to others and say, 'I have sinned, I have perverted what is right, but I did not get what I deserved.
God has delivered me from going down to the pit, and I shall live to enjoy the light of life.'
"God does all these things to a person- twice, even three times-
to turn them back from the pit, that the light of life may shine on them.
一千天使中，若有一個作傳話的與神同在，指示人所當行的事，
神就給他開恩，說：救贖他免得下坑；我已經得了贖價。
他的肉要比孩童的肉更嫩；他就返老還童。
他禱告神，神就喜悅他，使他歡呼朝見神的面；神又看他為義。

詩篇 98:1

Sing to the Lord a new song, for he has done marvelous things; his right hand and his holy arm have worked salvation for him.
The Lord has made his salvation known and revealed his righteousness to the nations.
（一篇詩。）你們要向耶和華唱新歌！因為他行過奇妙的事；他的右手和聖臂施行救恩。
耶和華發明了他的救恩，在列邦人眼前顯出公義；
以賽亞書 63:16
But you are our Father, though Abraham does not know us or Israel acknowledge us; you, Lord, are our Father, our Redeemer from of old is your name.

You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly.
Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die.
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
因我們還軟弱的時候，基督就按所定的日期為罪人死。
為義人死，是少有的；為仁人死、或者有敢做的。
惟有基督在我們還作罪人的時候為我們死，神的愛就在此向我們顯明了。
哥林多後書 5:21
God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
神使那無罪（無罪：原文作不知罪）的，替我們成為罪，好叫我們在他裡面成為神的義。

As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins,
in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient.
All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath.
But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy,
made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions-it is by grace you have been saved.
你們死在過犯罪惡之中，他叫你們活過來。
那時，你們在其中行事為人，隨從今世的風俗，順服空中掌權者的首領，就是現今在悖逆之子心中運行的邪靈。
我們從前也都在他們中間，放縱肉體的私慾，隨著肉體和心中所喜好的去行，本為可怒之子，和別人一樣。
然而，神既有豐富的憐憫，因他愛我們的大愛，
當我們死在過犯中的時候，便叫我們與基督一同活過來。（你們得救是本乎恩。）
提多書 3:4

But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared,
he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit,
whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior,
so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.
但到了神我們救主的恩慈和他向人所施的慈愛顯明的時候，
他便救了我們，並不是因我們自己所行的義，乃是照他的憐憫，藉著重生的洗和聖靈的更新。
聖靈就是神藉著耶穌基督我們救主厚厚澆灌在我們身上的，
好叫我們因他的恩得稱為義，可以憑著永生的盼望成為後嗣。（或作?可以憑著盼望承受永生）。
