詩篇 24:6
Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, God of Jacob. :6The Hebrew has Selah(a word of uncertain meaning) here and at the end of verse 10.
這是尋求耶和華的族類，是尋求你面的雅各。（細拉）
創世記 32:29

Jacob said, "Please tell me your name." But he replied, "Why do you ask my name?" Then he blessed him there.
So Jacob called the place Peniel, saying, "It is because I saw God face to face, and yet my life was spared."
雅各問他說：「請將你的名告訴我。」那人說：「何必問我的名？」於是在那裡給雅各祝福。
雅各便給那地方起名叫毗努伊勒（就是神之面的意思），意思說：「我面對面見了神，我的性命仍得保全。」
出埃及記 33:11
The Lord would speak to Moses face to face, as one speaks to a friend. Then Moses would return to the camp, but his young aide Joshua son of Nun did not leave the tent.
耶和華與摩西面對面說話，好像人與朋友說話一般。摩西轉到營裡去，惟有他的幫手，一個少年人嫩的兒子約書亞不離開會幕。
約伯記 33:26
then that person can pray to God and find favor with him, they will see God's face and shout for joy; he will restore them to full well-being.
他禱告神，神就喜悅他，使他歡呼朝見神的面；神又看他為義。
詩篇 68:2

May you blow them away like smoke- as wax melts before the fire, may the wicked perish before God.
But may the righteous be glad and rejoice before God; may they be happy and joyful.
他們被驅逐，如煙被風吹散；惡人見神之面而消滅，如蠟被火鎔化。
惟有義人必然歡喜，在神面前高興快樂。
詩篇 17:15
As for me, I will be vindicated and will see your face; when I awake, I will be satisfied with seeing your likeness.
至於我，我必在義中見你的面；我醒了的時候，得見（或作：看）你的形像就心滿意足了。
