箴言 10:24 - 25
What the wicked dread will overtake them; what the righteous desire will be granted. When the storm has swept by, the wicked are gone, but the righteous stand firm forever.
惡人所怕的，必臨到他；義人所願的，必蒙應允。暴風一過，惡人歸於無有；義人的根基卻是永久。

詩篇 37:7
Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.
你當默然倚靠耶和華，耐性等候他；不要因那道路通達的和那惡謀成就的心懷不平。

詩篇 73:18 - 19
Surely you place them on slippery ground; you cast them down to ruin. How suddenly are they destroyed, completely swept away by terrors!
你實在把他們安在滑地，使他們掉在沉淪之中。他們轉眼之間成了何等的荒涼！他們被驚恐滅盡了。

詩篇 73:3
For I envied the arrogant when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.
我見惡人和狂傲人享平安就心懷不平。

詩篇 37:9
For those who are evil will be destroyed, but those who hope in the Lord will inherit the land.
因為作惡的必被剪除；惟有等候耶和華的必承受地土。

詩篇 37:10
A little while, and the wicked will be no more; though you look for them, they will not be found.
還有片時，惡人要歸於無有；你就是細察他的住處也要歸於無有。

詩篇 37:1 - 2
Do not fret because of those who are evil or be envious of those who do wrong; for like the grass they will soon wither, like green plants they will soon die away.
（大衛的詩。）不要為作惡的心懷不平，也不要向那行不義的生出嫉妒。因為他們如草快被割下，又如青菜快要枯乾。

詩篇 73:5 - 6
They are free from common human burdens; they are not plagued by human ills. Therefore pride is their necklace; they clothe themselves with violence.
他們不像別人受苦，也不像別人遭災。所以，驕傲如鏈子戴在他們的項上；強暴像衣裳遮住他們的身體。
