箴言 6:16
- 19
There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to him:
haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood,
a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil,
a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.
耶和華所恨惡的有六樣，連他心所憎惡的共有七樣：
就是高傲的眼，撒謊的舌，流無辜人血的手，
圖謀惡計的心，飛跑行惡的腳，
吐謊言的假見證，並弟兄中布散分爭的人。
路加福音 8:17
For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open.

Whoever says, "I know him," but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person.

Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices
and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.
不要彼此說謊；因你們已經脫去舊人和舊人的行為，

約翰一書 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

for people who are wicked and deceitful have opened their mouths against me; they have spoken against me with lying tongues.

申命記 19:16
- 19
If a malicious witness takes the stand to accuse someone of a crime,
the two people involved in the dispute must stand in the presence of the Lord before the priests and the judges who are in office at the time.
The judges must make a thorough investigation, and if the witness proves to be a liar, giving false testimony against a fellow Israelite,
then do to the false witness as that witness intended to do to the other party. You must purge the evil from among you.
若有兇惡的見證人起來，見證某人作惡，
這兩個爭訟的人就要站在耶和華面前，和當時的祭司，並審判官面前，
審判官要細細地查究，若見證人果然是作假見證的，以假見證陷害弟兄，
你們就要待他如同他想要待的弟兄。這樣，就把那惡從你們中間除掉。
歷代志下 18:19

And the Lord said, 'Who will entice Ahab king of Israel into attacking Ramoth Gilead and going to his death there?' "One suggested this, and another that.
Finally, a spirit came forward, stood before the Lord and said, 'I will entice him.' " 'By what means?' the Lord asked.
" 'I will go and be a deceiving spirit in the mouths of all his prophets,' he said. " 'You will succeed in enticing him,' said the Lord. 'Go and do it.'
"So now the Lord has put a deceiving spirit in the mouths of these prophets of yours. The Lord has decreed disaster for you."
耶和華說：『誰去引誘以色列王亞哈上基列的拉末去陣亡呢？』這個就這樣說，那個就那樣說。
隨後，有一個神靈出來，站在耶和華面前說：『我去引誘他。』耶和華問他說：『你用何法呢？』
他說：『我去，要在他眾先知口中作謊言的靈。』耶和華說：『這樣，你必能引誘他，你去如此行吧！』
現在耶和華使謊言的靈入了你這些先知的口，並且耶和華已經命定降禍與你。」
啟示錄 21:8
But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars-they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."
惟有膽怯的、不信的、可憎的、殺人的、淫亂的、行邪術的、拜偶像的，和一切說謊話的，他們的分就在燒著硫磺的火湖裡；這是第二次的死。」

他若不聽，你就另外帶一兩個人同去，要憑兩三個人的口作見證，句句都可定準。
若是不聽他們，就告訴教會；若是不聽教會，就看他像外邦人和稅吏一樣。

Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men
nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.
你們豈不知不義的人不能承受神的國嗎？不要自欺！無論是淫亂的、拜偶像的、姦淫的、作孌童的、親男色的、
偷竊的、貪婪的、醉酒的、辱罵的、勒索的，都不能承受神的國。
你們中間也有人從前是這樣；但如今你們奉主耶穌基督的名，並藉著我們神的靈，已經洗淨，成聖，稱義了。
創世記 20:1

Now Abraham moved on from there into the region of the Negev and lived between Kadesh and Shur. For a while he stayed in Gerar,
and there Abraham said of his wife Sarah, "She is my sister." Then Abimelek king of Gerar sent for Sarah and took her.
But God came to Abimelek in a dream one night and said to him, "You are as good as dead because of the woman you have taken; she is a married woman."
Now Abimelek had not gone near her, so he said, "Lord, will you destroy an innocent nation?
Did he not say to me, 'She is my sister,' and didn't she also say, 'He is my brother'? I have done this with a clear conscience and clean hands."
Then God said to him in the dream, "Yes, I know you did this with a clear conscience, and so I have kept you from sinning against me. That is why I did not let you touch her.
Now return the man's wife, for he is a prophet, and he will pray for you and you will live. But if you do not return her, you may be sure that you and all who belong to you will die."
Early the next morning Abimelek summoned all his officials, and when he told them all that had happened, they were very much afraid.
Then Abimelek called Abraham in and said, "What have you done to us? How have I wronged you that you have brought such great guilt upon me and my kingdom? You have done things to me that should never be done."
And Abimelek asked Abraham, "What was your reason for doing this?"
Abraham replied, "I said to myself, 'There is surely no fear of God in this place, and they will kill me because of my wife.'
Besides, she really is my sister, the daughter of my father though not of my mother; and she became my wife.
And when God had me wander from my father's household, I said to her, 'This is how you can show your love to me: Everywhere we go, say of me, "He is my brother." ' "
亞伯拉罕從那裡向南地遷去，寄居在加低斯和書珥中間的基拉耳。

亞比米勒清早起來，召了眾臣僕來，將這些事都說給他們聽，他們都甚懼怕。
亞比米勒召了亞伯拉罕來，對他說：「你怎麼向我這樣行呢？我在什麼事上得罪了你，你竟使我和我國裡的人陷在大罪裡？你向我行不當行的事了！」
亞比米勒又對亞伯拉罕說：「你見了什麼才作這事呢？」
亞伯拉罕說：「我以為這地方的人總不懼怕神，必為我妻子的緣故殺我。
況且他也實在是我的妹子；他與我是同父異母，後來作了我的妻子。
當神叫我離開父家、飄流在外的時候，我對他說：『我們無論走到什麼地方，你可以對人說：他是我的哥哥；這就是你待我的恩典了。』」
歷代志下 18:20

馬太福音 15:18

But the things that come out of a person's mouth come from the heart, and these defile them.
For out of the heart come evil thoughts-murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander.
These are what defile a person; but eating with unwashed hands does not defile them."
惟獨出口的，是從心裡發出來的，這才污穢人。
因為從心裡發出來的，有惡念、兇殺、姦淫、苟合、偷盜、妄證、謗讟。
這都是污穢人的；至於不洗手吃飯，那卻不污穢人。」

Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say.

Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me!

Whoever belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God."
你們為什麼不明白我的話呢？無非是因你們不能聽我的道。
你們是出於你們的父魔鬼，你們父的私慾你們偏要行。他從起初是殺人的，不守真理，因他心裡沒有真理。他說謊是出於自己；因他本來是說謊的，也是說謊之人的父。
我將真理告訴你們，你們就因此不信我。
你們中間誰能指證我有罪呢？我既然將真理告訴你們，為什麼不信我呢？
出於神的，必聽神的話；你們不聽，因為你們不是出於神。」
羅馬書 12:17
- 21
Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone.
If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.
Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord.
On the contrary: "If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head."
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
不要以惡報惡；眾人以為美的事要留心去做。
若是能行，總要盡力與眾人和睦。
親愛的弟兄，不要自己伸冤，寧可讓步，聽憑主怒（或作：讓人發怒）；因為經上記著：「主說：『伸冤在我；我必報應。』」
所以，「你的仇敵若餓了，就給他吃，若渴了，就給他喝；因為你這樣行就是把炭火堆在他的頭上。」
你不可為惡所勝，反要以善勝惡。
彼得前書 5:8
Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
務要謹守，警醒。因為你們的仇敵魔鬼，如同吼叫的獅子，遍地遊行，尋找可吞吃的人。
民數記 23:19
God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?
神非人，必不至說謊，也非人子，必不至後悔。他說話豈不照著行呢？他發言豈不要成就呢？

Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

"For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil."
When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.
Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.

"Whoever steals an ox or a sheep and slaughters it or sells it must pay back five head of cattle for the ox and four sheep for the sheep.
"If a thief is caught breaking in at night and is struck a fatal blow, the defender is not guilty of bloodshed;
but if it happens after sunrise, the defender is guilty of bloodshed. "Anyone who steals must certainly make restitution, but if they have nothing, they must be sold to pay for their theft.
If the stolen animal is found alive in their possession-whether ox or donkey or sheep-they must pay back double.
「人若偷牛或羊，無論是宰了，是賣了，他就要以五牛賠一牛，四羊賠一羊。
人若遇見賊挖窟窿，把賊打了，以至於死，就不能為他有流血的罪。
若太陽已經出來，就為他有流血的罪。賊若被拿，總要賠還。若他一無所有，就要被賣，頂他所偷的物。
若他所偷的，或牛，或驢，或羊，仍在他手下存活，他就要加倍賠還。
約翰福音 8:2

At dawn he appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them.
The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group
and said to Jesus, "Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery.
In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?"
They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him. But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger.
When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, "Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her."
Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground.
At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there.
Jesus straightened up and asked her, "Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?"
"No one, sir," she said. "Then neither do I condemn you," Jesus declared. "Go now and leave your life of sin."
清早又回到殿裡。眾百姓都到他那裡去，他就坐下，教訓他們。
文士和法利賽人帶著一個行淫時被拿的婦人來，叫他站在當中，
就對耶穌說：「夫子，這婦人是正行淫之時被拿的。
摩西在律法上吩咐我們把這樣的婦人用石頭打死。你說該把他怎麼樣呢？」
他們說這話，乃試探耶穌，要得著告他的把柄。耶穌卻彎著腰，用指頭在地上畫字。
他們還是不住的問他，耶穌就直起腰來，對他們說：「你們中間誰是沒有罪的，誰就可以先拿石頭打他。」
於是又彎著腰，用指頭在地上畫字。
他們聽見這話，就從老到少，一個一個的都出去了，只剩下耶穌一人，還有那婦人仍然站在當中。
耶穌就直起腰來，對他說：「婦人，那些人在那裡呢？沒有人定你的罪嗎？」
他說：「主啊，沒有。」耶穌說：「我也不定你的罪。去吧，從此不要再犯罪了！」
利未記 6:1
- 7
The Lord said to Moses:
"If anyone sins and is unfaithful to the Lord by deceiving a neighbor about something entrusted to them or left in their care or about something stolen, or if they cheat their neighbor,
or if they find lost property and lie about it, or if they swear falsely about any such sin that people may commit-
when they sin in any of these ways and realize their guilt, they must return what they have stolen or taken by extortion, or what was entrusted to them, or the lost property they found,
or whatever it was they swore falsely about. They must make restitution in full, add a fifth of the value to it and give it all to the owner on the day they present their guilt offering.
And as a penalty they must bring to the priest, that is, to the Lord, their guilt offering, a ram from the flock, one without defect and of the proper value.
In this way the priest will make atonement for them before the Lord, and they will be forgiven for any of the things they did that made them guilty."
耶和華曉諭摩西說：
「若有人犯罪，干犯耶和華，在鄰舍交付他的物上，或是在交易上行了詭詐，或是搶奪人的財物，或是欺壓鄰舍，
或是在撿了遺失的物上行了詭詐，說謊起誓，在這一切的事上犯了什麼罪；
他既犯了罪，有了過犯，就要歸還他所搶奪的，或是因欺壓所得的，或是人交付他的，或是人遺失他所撿的物，
或是他因什麼物起了假誓，就要如數歸還，另外加上五分之一，在查出他有罪的日子要交還本主。
也要照你所估定的價，把贖愆祭牲，就是羊群中一隻沒有殘疾的公綿羊牽到耶和華面前，給祭司為贖愆祭。
祭司要在耶和華面前為他贖罪；他無論行了什麼事，使他有了罪，都必蒙赦免。」
