約伯記 4:3 - 4
Think how you have instructed many, how you have strengthened feeble hands. Your words have supported those who stumbled; you have strengthened faltering knees.
你素來教導許多的人，又堅固軟弱的手。你的言語曾扶助那將要跌倒的人；你又使軟弱的膝穩固。

以賽亞書 35:3
Strengthen the feeble hands, steady the knees that give way;
你們要使軟弱的手堅壯，無力的膝穩固。

詩篇 146:7 - 8
He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The Lord sets prisoners free, the Lord gives sight to the blind, the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down, the Lord loves the righteous.
他為受屈的伸冤，賜食物與飢餓的。耶和華釋放被囚的；耶和華開了瞎子的眼睛；耶和華扶起被壓下的人。耶和華喜愛義人。

箴言 16:24
Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.
良言如同蜂房，使心覺甘甜，使骨得醫治。

詩篇 145:14
The Lord upholds all who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down.
凡跌倒的，耶和華將他們扶持；凡被壓下的，將他們扶起。

加拉太書 3:13 - 14
Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole." He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.
基督既為我們受（原文作成）了咒詛，就贖出我們脫離律法的咒詛；因為經上記著：「凡掛在木頭上都是被咒詛的。」這便叫亞伯拉罕的福，因基督耶穌可以臨到外邦人，使我們因信得著所應許的聖靈。

希伯來書 12:12 - 13
Therefore, strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees. "Make level paths for your feet," so that the lame may not be disabled, but rather healed.
所以，你們要把下垂的手、發酸的腿、挺起來；也要為自己的腳，把道路修直了，使瘸子不至歪腳（或作：差路），反得痊愈。

箴言 14:30
A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones.
心中安靜是肉體的生命；嫉妒是骨中的朽爛。
