彼得前書 2:1

Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind.
Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation,
now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.
As you come to him, the living Stone-rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him-
you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
For in Scripture it says: "See, I lay a stone in Zion, a chosen and precious cornerstone, and the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame."
Now to you who believe, this stone is precious. But to those who do not believe, "The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone,"
and, "A stone that causes people to stumble and a rock that makes them fall." They stumble because they disobey the message-which is also what they were destined for.
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.
Dear friends, I urge you, as foreigners and exiles, to abstain from sinful desires, which wage war against your soul.
Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us.
Submit yourselves for the Lord's sake to every human authority: whether to the emperor, as the supreme authority,
or to governors, who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to commend those who do right.
For it is God's will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish people.
Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as God's slaves.
Show proper respect to everyone, love the family of believers, fear God, honor the emperor.
Slaves, in reverent fear of God submit yourselves to your masters, not only to those who are good and considerate, but also to those who are harsh.
For it is commendable if someone bears up under the pain of unjust suffering because they are conscious of God.
But how is it to your credit if you receive a beating for doing wrong and endure it? But if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before God.
To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.
"He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth."
When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly.
"He himself bore our sins" in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; "by his wounds you have been healed."
For "you were like sheep going astray," but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.
所以，你們既除去一切的惡毒、（或作陰毒）詭詐，並假善、嫉妒，和一切毀謗的話，
就要愛慕那純淨的靈奶，像才生的嬰孩愛慕奶一樣，叫你們因此漸長，以致得救。
你們若嘗過主恩的滋味，就必如此。
主乃活石，固然是被人所棄的，卻是被神所揀選、所寶貴的。
你們來到主面前，也就像活石，被建造成為靈宮，作聖潔的祭司，藉著耶穌基督奉獻神所悅納的靈祭。
因為經上說：看哪，我把所揀選、所寶貴的房角石安放在錫安；信靠他的人必不至於羞愧。
所以，他在你們信的人就為寶貴，在那不信的人有話說：匠人所棄的石頭已作了房角的頭塊石頭。
又說：作了絆腳的石頭，跌人的磐石。他們既不順從，就在道理上絆跌；（或作：他們絆跌都因不順從道理）他們這樣絆跌也是預定的。
惟有你們是被揀選的族類，是有君尊的祭司，是聖潔的國度，是屬神的子民，要叫你們宣揚那召你們出黑暗入奇妙光明者的美德。
你們從前算不得子民，現在卻作了神的子民；從前未曾蒙憐恤，現在卻蒙了憐恤。
親愛的弟兄啊，你們是客旅，是寄居的。我勸你們要禁戒肉體的私慾；這私慾是與靈魂爭戰的。
你們在外邦人中，應當品行端正，叫那些毀謗你們是作惡的，因看見你們的好行為，便在鑒察（或作：眷顧）的日子歸榮耀給神。
你們為主的緣故，要順服人的一切制度，或是在上的君王，
或是君王所派罰惡賞善的臣宰。
因為神的旨意原是要你們行善，可以堵住那糊塗無知人的口。
你們雖是自由的，卻不可藉著自由遮蓋惡毒，（或作：陰毒）總要作神的僕人。
務要尊敬眾人，親愛教中的弟兄，敬畏神，尊敬君王。
你們作僕人的，凡事要存敬畏的心順服主人；不但順服那善良溫和的，就是那乖僻的也要順服。
倘若人為叫良心對得住神，就忍受冤屈的苦楚，這是可喜愛的。
你們若因犯罪受責打，能忍耐，有什麼可誇的呢？但你們若因行善受苦，能忍耐，這在神看是可喜愛的。
你們蒙召原是為此；因基督也為你們受過苦，給你們留下榜樣，叫你們跟隨他的腳蹤行。
他並沒有犯罪，口裡也沒有詭詐。
他被罵不還口；受害不說威嚇的話，只將自己交託那按公義審判人的主。
他被掛在木頭上，親身擔當了我們的罪，使我們既然在罪上死，就得以在義上活。因他受的鞭傷，你們便得了醫治。
你們從前好像迷路的羊，如今卻歸到你們靈魂的牧人監督了。

Do not eat the food of a begrudging host, do not crave his delicacies;
for he is the kind of person who is always thinking about the cost. "Eat and drink," he says to you, but his heart is not with you.
You will vomit up the little you have eaten and will have wasted your compliments. Saying 10
不要吃惡眼人的飯，也不要貪他的美味；
因為他心怎樣思量，他為人就是怎樣。他雖對你說，請吃，請喝，他的心卻與你相背。
你所吃的那點食物必吐出來；你所說的甘美言語也必落空。

The judges must make a thorough investigation, and if the witness proves to be a liar, giving false testimony against a fellow Israelite,
審判官要細細地查究，若見證人果然是作假見證的，以假見證陷害弟兄，
耶利米書 7:6
if you do not oppress the foreigner, the fatherless or the widow and do not shed innocent blood in this place, and if you do not follow other gods to your own harm,
不欺壓寄居的和孤兒寡婦；在這地方不流無辜人的血，也不隨從別神陷害自己；
彼得後書 2:1
But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them-bringing swift destruction on themselves.
從前在百姓中有假先知起來，將來在你們中間也必有假師傅，私自引進陷害人的異端，連買他們的主他們也不承認，自取速速的滅亡。
