以賽亞書 14:21
Prepare a place to slaughter his children for the sins of their ancestors; they are not to rise to inherit the land and cover the earth with their cities.
先人既有罪孽，就要預備殺戮他的子孫，免得他們興起來，得了遍地，在世上修滿城邑。
以賽亞書 13:15
- 18
Whoever is captured will be thrust through; all who are caught will fall by the sword.
Their infants will be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses will be looted and their wives violated.
See, I will stir up against them the Medes, who do not care for silver and have no delight in gold.
Their bows will strike down the young men; they will have no mercy on infants, nor will they look with compassion on children.
凡被仇敵追上的必被刺死；凡被捉住的必被刀殺。
他們的嬰孩必在他們眼前摔碎；他們的房屋必被搶奪；他們的妻子必被玷污。
我必激動瑪代人來攻擊他們。瑪代人不注重銀子，也不喜愛金子。
他們必用弓擊碎少年人，不憐憫婦人所生的，眼也不顧惜孩子。
箴言 6:16
- 19
There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to him:
haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood,
a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil,
a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.
耶和華所恨惡的有六樣，連他心所憎惡的共有七樣：
就是高傲的眼，撒謊的舌，流無辜人血的手，
圖謀惡計的心，飛跑行惡的腳，
吐謊言的假見證，並弟兄中布散分爭的人。
約書亞記 6:20

When the trumpets sounded, the army shouted, and at the sound of the trumpet, when the men gave a loud shout, the wall collapsed; so everyone charged straight in, and they took the city.
They devoted the city to the Lord and destroyed with the sword every living thing in it-men and women, young and old, cattle, sheep and donkeys.
於是百姓呼喊，祭司也吹角。百姓聽見角聲，便大聲呼喊，城牆就塌陷，百姓便上去進城，各人往前直上，將城奪取；
又將城中所有的，不拘男女老少，牛羊和驢，都用刀殺盡。
撒母耳記上 15:3
Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy all that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys.' "

" 'Do not pollute the land where you are. Bloodshed pollutes the land, and atonement cannot be made for the land on which blood has been shed, except by the blood of the one who shed it.
Do not defile the land where you live and where I dwell, for I, the Lord, dwell among the Israelites.' "
這樣，你們就不污穢所住之地，因為血是污穢地的；若有在地上流人血的，非流那殺人者的血，那地就不得潔淨（原文作贖）。
你們不可玷污所住之地，就是我住在其中之地，因為我耶和華住在以色列人中間。」
