馬太福音 26:52 - 54
"Put your sword back in its place," Jesus said to him, "for all who draw the sword will die by the sword. Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels? But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen in this way?"
耶穌對他說：「收刀入鞘吧！凡動刀的，必死在刀下。你想，我不能求我父現在為我差遣十二營多天使來嗎？若是這樣，經上所說，事情必須如此的話怎麼應驗呢？」

路加福音 22:36
He said to them, "But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don't have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one.
耶穌說：「但如今有錢囊的可以帶著，有口袋的也可以帶著，沒有刀的要賣衣服買刀。

以西結書 11:8
You fear the sword, and the sword is what I will bring against you, declares the Sovereign Lord.
你們怕刀劍，我必使刀劍臨到你們。這是主耶和華說的。

詩篇 144:1
Praise be to the Lord my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle.
（大衛的詩。）耶和華我的磐石是應當稱頌的！他教導我的手爭戰，教導我的指頭打仗。

撒母耳記上 25:13
David said to his men, "Each of you strap on your sword!" So they did, and David strapped his on as well. About four hundred men went up with David, while two hundred stayed with the supplies.
大衛向跟隨他的人說：「你們各人都要帶上刀！」眾人就都帶上刀，大衛也帶上刀。跟隨大衛上去的約有四百人，留下二百人看守器具。

羅馬書 13:4
For the one in authority is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God's servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer.
因為他是神的用人，是與你有益的。你若作惡，卻當懼怕；因為他不是空空的佩劍，他是神的用人，是伸冤的，刑罰那作惡的。

尼希米記 4:17 - 18
who were building the wall. Those who carried materials did their work with one hand and held a weapon in the other, and each of the builders wore his sword at his side as he worked. But the man who sounded the trumpet stayed with me.
修造城牆的，扛抬材料的，都一手做工一手拿兵器。修造的人都腰間佩刀修造，吹角的人在我旁邊。

路加福音 22:38
The disciples said, "See, Lord, here are two swords." "That's enough!" he replied.
他們說：「主啊，請看！這裡有兩把刀。」耶穌說：「夠了。」

耶利米書 47:6
" 'Alas, sword of the Lord, how long till you rest? Return to your sheath; cease and be still.'
耶和華的刀劍哪，你到幾時才止息呢？你要入鞘，安靖不動。

創世記 27:40
You will live by the sword and you will serve your brother. But when you grow restless, you will throw his yoke from off your neck."
你必倚靠刀劍度日，又必事奉你的兄弟；到你強盛的時候，必從你頸項上掙開他的軛。

約伯記 19:29
you should fear the sword yourselves; for wrath will bring punishment by the sword, and then you will know that there is judgment. "
你們就當懼怕刀劍；因為忿怒惹動刀劍的刑罰，使你們知道有報應（原文作審判）。

約伯記 33:18
to preserve them from the pit, their lives from perishing by the sword.
攔阻人不陷於坑裡，不死在刀下。

約伯記 41:26
The sword that reaches it has no effect, nor does the spear or the dart or the javelin.
人若用刀，用槍，用標槍，用尖槍扎他，都是無用。

箴言 25:18
Like a club or a sword or a sharp arrow is one who gives false testimony against a neighbor.
作假見證陷害鄰舍的，就是大槌，是利刀，是快箭。

羅馬書 8:35
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?
誰能使我們與基督的愛隔絕呢？難道是患難嗎？是困苦嗎？是逼迫嗎？是飢餓嗎？是赤身露體嗎？是危險嗎？是刀劍嗎？

創世記 22:10
Then he reached out his hand and took the knife to slay his son.
亞伯拉罕就伸手拿刀，要殺他的兒子。

路加福音 22:50
And one of them struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his right ear.
內中有一個人把大祭司的僕人砍了一刀，削掉了他的右耳。

啟示錄 14:17
Another angel came out of the temple in heaven, and he too had a sharp sickle.
又有一位天使從天上的殿中出來，他也拿著快鐮刀。
