傳道書 3:1 - 8
There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.
凡事都有定期，天下萬務都有定時。生有時，死有時；栽種有時，拔出所栽種的也有時；殺戮有時，醫治有時；拆毀有時，建造有時；哭有時，笑有時；哀慟有時，跳舞有時；拋擲石頭有時，堆聚石頭有時；懷抱有時，不懷抱有時；尋找有時，失落有時；保守有時，捨棄有時；撕裂有時，縫補有時；靜默有時，言語有時；喜愛有時，恨惡有時；爭戰有時，和好有時。

箴言 16:9
In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.
人心籌算自己的道路；惟耶和華指引他的腳步。

哥林多後書 6:2
For he says, "In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you." I tell you, now is the time of God's favor, now is the day of salvation.
因為他說：『在悅納的時候，我應允了你；在拯救的日子，我搭救了你。』看哪！現在正是悅納的時候；現在正是拯救的日子。

腓立比書 3:13 - 14
Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
弟兄們，我不是以為自己已經得著了；我只有一件事，就是忘記背後，努力面前的，向著標竿直跑，要得神在基督耶穌裡從上面召我來得的獎賞。

雅各書 4:13 - 15
Now listen, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money." Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Instead, you ought to say, "If it is the Lord's will, we will live and do this or that."
嗐！你們有話說：「今天明天我們要往某城裡去，在那裡住一年，作買賣得利。」其實明天如何，你們還不知道。你們的生命是什麼呢？你們原來是一片雲霧，出現少時就不見了。你們只當說：「主若願意，我們就可以活著，也可以做這事，或做那事。」

彼得後書 3:8
But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.
親愛的弟兄啊，有一件事你們不可忘記，就是主看一日如千年，千年如一日。

約書亞記 24:15
But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord."
若是你們以事奉耶和華為不好，今日就可以選擇所要事奉的：是你們列祖在大河那邊所事奉的神呢？是你們所住這地的亞摩利人的神呢？至於我和我家，我們必定事奉耶和華。」

馬可福音 13:32
"But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
「但那日子，那時辰，沒有人知道，連天上的使者也不知道，子也不知道，惟有父知道。

詩篇 90:4
A thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night.
在你看來，千年如已過的昨日，又如夜間的一更。

詩篇 31:15
My times are in your hands; deliver me from the hands of my enemies, from those who pursue me.
我終身的事在你手中；求你救我脫離仇敵的手和那些逼迫我的人。

詩篇 90:12
Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.
求你指教我們怎樣數算自己的日子，好叫我們得著智慧的心。

箴言 6:6 - 8
Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest.
懶惰人哪，你去察看螞蟻的動作就可得智慧。螞蟻沒有元帥，沒有官長，沒有君王，尚且在夏天預備食物，在收割時聚斂糧食。

耶利米書 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
耶和華說：我知道我向你們所懷的意念是賜平安的意念，不是降災禍的意念，要叫你們末後有指望。

雅各書 4:14
Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.
其實明天如何，你們還不知道。你們的生命是什麼呢？你們原來是一片雲霧，出現少時就不見了。

以弗所書 1:10
to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment-to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ.
要照所安排的，在日期滿足的時候，使天上、地上、一切所有的都在基督裡面同歸於一。

詩篇 90:2
Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God.
諸山未曾生出，地與世界你未曾造成，從亙古到永遠，你是神。

列王記下 20:9 - 11
Isaiah answered, "This is the Lord's sign to you that the Lord will do what he has promised: Shall the shadow go forward ten steps, or shall it go back ten steps?" "It is a simple matter for the shadow to go forward ten steps," said Hezekiah. "Rather, have it go back ten steps." Then the prophet Isaiah called on the Lord, and the Lord made the shadow go back the ten steps it had gone down on the stairway of Ahaz.
以賽亞說：「耶和華必成就他所說的。這是他給你的兆頭：你要日影向前進十度呢？是要往後退十度呢？」希西家回答說：「日影向前進十度容易，我要日影往後退十度。」先知以賽亞求告耶和華，耶和華就使亞哈斯的日晷向前進的日影，往後退了十度。

以斯帖記 4:14
For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father's family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?"
此時你若閉口不言，猶大人必從別處得解脫，蒙拯救；你和你父家必至滅亡。焉知你得了王后的位分不是為現今的機會嗎？」

詩篇 39:5 - 6
You have made my days a mere handbreadth; the span of my years is as nothing before you. Everyone is but a breath, even those who seem secure. "Surely everyone goes around like a mere phantom; in vain they rush about, heaping up wealth without knowing whose it will finally be.
你使我的年日窄如手掌；我一生的年數，在你面前如同無有。各人最穩妥的時候，真是全然虛幻。（細拉）世人行動實係幻影。他們忙亂，真是枉然；積蓄財寶，不知將來有誰收取。

帖撒羅尼迦前書 5:1 - 3
Now, brothers and sisters, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, "Peace and safety," destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.
弟兄們，論到時候、日期，不用寫信給你們；因為你們自己明明曉得，主的日子來到，好像夜間的賊一樣。人正說「平安穩妥」的時候，災禍忽然臨到他們，如同產難臨到懷胎的婦人一樣。他們絕不能逃脫。
