馬太福音 7:7 - 12
"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. "Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.
「你們祈求，就給你們；尋找，就尋見；叩門，就給你們開門。因為凡祈求的，就得著；尋找的，就尋見；叩門的，就給他開門。你們中間誰有兒子求餅，反給他石頭呢？求魚，反給他蛇呢？你們雖然不好，尚且知道拿好東西給兒女，何況你們在天上的父，豈不更把好東西給求他的人嗎？所以，無論何事，你們願意人怎樣待你們，你們也要怎樣待人，因為這就是律法和先知的道理。」

詩篇 27:8
My heart says of you, "Seek his face!" Your face, Lord, I will seek.
你說：你們當尋求我的面。那時我心向你說：耶和華啊，你的面我正要尋求。

箴言 2:4
and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure,
尋找他，如尋找銀子，搜求他，如搜求隱藏的珍寶，

以賽亞書 55:6
Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near.
當趁耶和華可尋找的時候尋找他，相近的時候求告他。

馬太福音 6:33
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
你們要先求他的國和他的義，這些東西都要加給你們了。

詩篇 32:6
Therefore let all the faithful pray to you while you may be found; surely the rising of the mighty waters will not reach them.
為此，凡虔誠人都當趁你可尋找的時候禱告你；大水泛溢的時候，必不能到他那裡。

雅歌 3:2
I will get up now and go about the city, through its streets and squares; I will search for the one my heart loves. So I looked for him but did not find him.
我說：我要起來，遊行城中，在街市上，在寬闊處，尋找我心所愛的。我尋找他，卻尋不見。

申命記 4:29
But if from there you seek the Lord your God, you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul.
但你們在那裡必尋求耶和華你的神。你盡心盡性尋求他的時候，就必尋見。

約伯記 3:4
That day-may it turn to darkness; may God above not care about it; may no light shine on it.
願那日變為黑暗；願神不從上面尋找他；願亮光不照於其上。

約伯記 7:21

為何不赦免我的過犯，除掉我的罪孽？我現今要躺臥在塵土中；你要殷勤地尋找我，我卻不在了。

詩篇 59:15
They wander about for food and howl if not satisfied.
他們必走來走去，尋找食物，若不得飽就終夜在外。

雅歌 3:1
All night long on my bed I looked for the one my heart loves; I looked for him but did not find him.
我夜間躺臥在床上，尋找我心所愛的；我尋找他，卻尋不見。

馬太福音 28:5
The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified.
天使對婦女說：「不要害怕！我知道你們是尋找那釘十字架的耶穌。

羅馬書 10:20
And Isaiah boldly says, "I was found by those who did not seek me; I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me."
又有以賽亞放膽說：沒有尋找我的，我叫他們遇見；沒有訪問我的，我向他們顯現。

詩篇 4:2
How long will you people turn my glory into shame? How long will you love delusions and seek false gods :2The Hebrew has Selah(a word of uncertain meaning) here and at the end of verse 4.
你們這上流人哪，你們將我的尊榮變為羞辱要到幾時呢？你們喜愛虛妄，尋找虛假，要到幾時呢？（細拉）

約翰福音 7:11
Now at the festival the Jewish leaders were watching for Jesus and asking, "Where is he?"
正在節期，猶太人尋找耶穌，說：「他在那裡？」

約翰福音 11:56
They kept looking for Jesus, and as they stood in the temple courts they asked one another, "What do you think? Isn't he coming to the festival at all?"
他們就尋找耶穌，站在殿裡彼此說：「你們的意思如何，他不來過節嗎？」
