以西結書 34:15

I myself will tend my sheep and have them lie down, declares the Sovereign Lord.
I will search for the lost and bring back the strays. I will bind up the injured and strengthen the weak, but the sleek and the strong I will destroy. I will shepherd the flock with justice.
主耶和華說：我必親自作我羊的牧人，使他們得以躺臥。
失喪的，我必尋找；被逐的，我必領回；受傷的，我必纏裹；有病的，我必醫治；只是肥的壯的，我必除滅，也要秉公牧養他們。
以西結書 34:2

"Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel; prophesy and say to them: 'This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Woe to you shepherds of Israel who only take care of yourselves! Should not shepherds take care of the flock?
You eat the curds, clothe yourselves with the wool and slaughter the choice animals, but you do not take care of the flock.
You have not strengthened the weak or healed the sick or bound up the injured. You have not brought back the strays or searched for the lost. You have ruled them harshly and brutally.
So they were scattered because there was no shepherd, and when they were scattered they became food for all the wild animals.
My sheep wandered over all the mountains and on every high hill. They were scattered over the whole earth, and no one searched or looked for them.
「人子啊，你要向以色列的牧人發預言，攻擊他們，說，主耶和華如此說：禍哉！以色列的牧人只知牧養自己。牧人豈不當牧養群羊嗎？
你們吃脂油、穿羊毛、宰肥壯的，卻不牧養群羊。
瘦弱的，你們沒有養壯；有病的，你們沒有醫治；受傷的，你們沒有纏裹；被逐的，你們沒有領回；失喪的，你們沒有尋找；但用強暴嚴嚴地轄制。
因無牧人，羊就分散；既分散，便作了一切野獸的食物。
我的羊在諸山間、在各高岡上流離，在全地上分散，無人去尋，無人去找。
約翰福音 21:15

When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?" "Yes, Lord," he said, "you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Feed my lambs."
Again Jesus said, "Simon son of John, do you love me?" He answered, "Yes, Lord, you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Take care of my sheep."
The third time he said to him, "Simon son of John, do you love me?" Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, "Do you love me?" He said, "Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Feed my sheep.
他們吃完了早飯，耶穌對西門彼得說：「約翰（在馬太十六章十七節稱約拿）的兒子西門，你愛我比這些更深嗎？」彼得說：「主啊，是的，你知道我愛你。」耶穌對他說：「你餵養我的小羊。」
