for though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again, but the wicked stumble when calamity strikes. Saying 28
因為，義人雖七次跌倒，仍必興起；惡人卻被禍患傾倒。

詩篇 5:12
Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield.
因為你必賜福與義人；耶和華啊，你必用恩惠如同盾牌四面護衛他。

詩篇 34:15 - 16
The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their cry; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to blot out their name from the earth.
耶和華的眼目看顧義人；他的耳朵聽他們的呼求。耶和華向行惡的人變臉，要從世上除滅他們的名號。

詩篇 34:19
The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all;
義人多有苦難，但耶和華救他脫離這一切，

詩篇 37:25 - 26
I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread. They are always generous and lend freely; their children will be a blessing.
我從前年幼，現在年老，卻未見過義人被棄，也未見過他的後裔討飯。他終日恩待人，借給人；他的後裔也蒙福！

箴言 4:18 - 19
The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day. But the way of the wicked is like deep darkness; they do not know what makes them stumble.
但義人的路好像黎明的光，越照越明，直到日午。惡人的道好像幽暗，自己不知因什麼跌倒。

詩篇 58:11
Then people will say, "Surely the righteous still are rewarded; surely there is a God who judges the earth."
因此，人必說：義人誠然有善報；在地上果有施行判斷的神！

箴言 13:9
The light of the righteous shines brightly, but the lamp of the wicked is snuffed out.
義人的光明亮（原文作歡喜）；惡人的燈要熄滅。
