申命記 1:45
You came back and wept before the Lord, but he paid no attention to your weeping and turned a deaf ear to you.
你們便回來，在耶和華面前哭號；耶和華卻不聽你們的聲音，也不向你們側耳。
雅各書 1:6

But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.
That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.
只要憑著信心求，一點不疑惑；因為那疑惑的人，就像海中的波浪，被風吹動翻騰。

"Then they will call to me but I will not answer; they will look for me but will not find me,
我呼喚，你們不肯聽從；我伸手，無人理會；

你們遭災難，我就發笑；驚恐臨到你們，我必嗤笑。

耶利米書 14:12
Although they fast, I will not listen to their cry; though they offer burnt offerings and grain offerings, I will not accept them. Instead, I will destroy them with the sword, famine and plague."

When they go with their flocks and herds to seek the Lord, they will not find him; he has withdrawn himself from them.

Judah has been unfaithful. A detestable thing has been committed in Israel and in Jerusalem: Judah has desecrated the sanctuary the Lord loves by marrying women who worship a foreign god.
As for the man who does this, whoever he may be, may the Lord remove him from the tents of Jacob -even though he brings an offering to the Lord Almighty.
Another thing you do: You flood the Lord's altar with tears. You weep and wail because he no longer looks with favor on your offerings or accepts them with pleasure from your hands.
猶大人行事詭詐，並且在以色列和耶路撒冷中行一件可憎的事；因為猶大人褻瀆耶和華所喜愛的聖潔（或作：聖地），娶事奉外邦神的女子為妻。
凡行這事的，無論何人（何人：原文作叫醒的，答應的），就是獻供物給萬軍之耶和華，耶和華也必從雅各的帳棚中剪除他。
你們又行了一件這樣的事，使前妻歎息哭泣的眼淚遮蓋耶和華的壇，以致耶和華不再看顧那供物，也不樂意從你們手中收納。
以賽亞書 45:19
I have not spoken in secret, from somewhere in a land of darkness; I have not said to Jacob's descendants, 'Seek me in vain.' I, the Lord, speak the truth; I declare what is right.
我沒有在隱密黑暗之地說話；我沒有對雅各的後裔說：你們尋求我是徒然的。我耶和華所講的是公義，所說的是正直。
彼得前書 3:7
Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers.
